Switching to AT&T rom issues - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I bought a T-Mobile branded Note 2 when it was released and I recently switched to AT&T because t-mobile doesn't get service in my apartment. I had to flash the (t-mobile) stock image to get the unlock code to work. After unlocking I was able to get AT&T network connection and 4G data. When I restored the image I had backed up, I could not connect to AT&T's network. I'm was running LiquidSmooth 4.4.2 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2151580 ) before the switch.
It doesn't recognize that there is a SIM card in the device. When I go to Settings -> More -> Mobile Plan it says "Please insert SIM card and restart"
What can I do to get this to work on AT&T's network?

Have you checked the APN? Search AT&T APN in the main thread if you need to .

Okay I managed to get a rom that is compatible with AT&T and have an AT&T apn that should get LTE, but I'm only getting HSPA+ speeds. I tried flashing AT&T radios for the i317 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987541 , but those didn't give me any network access at all. Right now I'm on the latest t-mobile modem from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2102380 I know I should be getting LTE because I have an LG G2 right next to me getting LTE
Any ideas?

I did not have enough apn types in my apn settings. I used these apn settings and I'm getting LTE

Nexus not detecting network

Hi All,
I bought Galaxy nexus from Ebay.in and it was working very good. I updated to Jelly Bean over the WiFi and when it asked me to and after restarting it started asking me to enter network pin. I called seller and he told me that its my fault to update it and nothing he can do about it. So I started searching for similar problems and landed up on the below thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1548210
I rooted my device coz thats the pre requisite for this app and installed the FuxkDocomoV3.1.apk on my device. After running the APP, I clicked on "unlock simlock forever" and it processed for couple of seconds and restarted the phone. After restarting, phone is not asking for Unlock code but not detecting the network. When I go to Settings > More> Network Operators > I am able to find networks.. When I click on my home network it says "Cant connect to the network right now" I reinstalled Ice cream sandwich using the below link but no luck..Same network issue. Its not detecting any network.

It's a DoCoMo gnex right?
The fkdocomo app will change your imei to a generic one, and seem that your operator will not allow generic imeis on your network. Let me dig up a link, hold on.

Help with G920P in Australia

Hi Guys
I bought the galaxy s6 G920P used from eBay and have ran into troubles after rooting it.
See my other thread which i accidentally posted in General Q&A, May be i can get some better answers here..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/help-samsung-g920p-root-t3289569
So basically now I have a device thats running stock rooted ROM, but I Cant get 4g to work. I have made sure the APN settings are correct from my provider. Also after a restart, the device takes about 2-3 minutes to pick up any cell signal.
My main question is that when I got my device it was not rooted, and everything was working fine ( I did not have to manually enter my career's APN settings and I had 4g data). Also there was no traces about the "sprint" on my device, no splash screen or anything.
Anyone has any idea which ROM the device could originally be on? Is there any stock non-sprint version of android 5.1.1 for G920P?
Thanks in advance and sorry about the noob questions ( Biggest mistake is I should have made a backup of original ROM)

How did you root it? Also, you may need to unlock it.
Make sure to check your carriers bands with the ones the phone supports:

}
You should beable to find the support bands on your carriers website, you may also be able to call a store.
I have this phone from Sprint and of course there is always the splash screen and the annoying sprint apps. If this screen wasn't there if may have been a custom ROM although you would have seen the red text about the system when booting. Although it wasn't really possible in the past (due to CDMA and carrier locks), it is possible with the s6 to bring this device from other US carriers to sprint (http://www.sprint.com/landings/bring-your-own-phone/). I am not sure if you are basing the model based on the fact that it said Sprint or if you are certain that was the actual model (I believe the model number is also sometimes changes by some ROMs).
From my understanding you now have the stock sprint ROM with the sprint screen and annoying apps? I don't believe there is a "Stock" version for this model. U.S. carriers love to put their annoying junk on phones and generally have plans to lease or pay extra per month to subsidize the cost of the phone.
You could check this thread out and maybe it would help:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...de-success-sim-unlock-sprint-samsung-t3130294
If not maybe trying another ROM would be a good option especially since you are outside of the U.S. You may even be able to use this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...xtrestolite-deodexed-mod-edition-1-0-t3094423 since you don't need sprint radio support (this is a risk since the model is not officially supported, but may be worthwhile).

New N920A Full MM Odin package *N920AUCS3BPH4*

I know it is to late.....Espacially the latest OTA N920AUCU3CPHA has been released...
But people outside US can flash this firmwork and use OTA package to keep ATT Note5 at latest model...
Mega: https://mega.nz/#!oFIRXJ6J!A9iUa8eyHEvwPrD531ECmjLobeC_d7YOVaRTChN0gNE
PS: As you all know,Chinese offical limits my network to connecting XDA, so I coundn't answer your question immediately. What more, all of my full odin packages are downloaded at http://romup.com/ ,but it is not for free. Everybody can search ROMs by phone model in the searching box(with VPN to China).
The method can consult http://forum.xda-developers.com/att.../n920a-mm-odin-package-n920aucu2bpe6-t3415938 , Odin up on 3.12.4. And this firmwork don't Contain Pit files. Just flash first four files and waiting five minutes...

Hi, can i update from an unlocked AT&T N920AUCU2APB2 directly to this using Odin? Will that cause any issues?
hey guys, not trying to hijack the thread but i have a USCellular Note 5 which is unlocked and everything works but MMS and 4G is flakey, usually bouncing between 4G and H and H+ (on the signal)
i dont feel data speeds suffer but speed tests show it so fear signal reception could be different that an AT&T note 5.
anyways, does anyone know if it is possible to odin flash this rom into my USCellular phone and make it run properly on AT&T.
the NOTE 5 is of course unlocked and when looked at the specs is only missing 2 cellular bands and has more bands in 3G than the AT&T variant.
anyone have a clue, i would not like to brick this phone beyond repair but am willing to flash it with an AT&T rom if that will fix it.
the APN's area ll correct, but i did install KIK messaging and when setting MMS to manual APN it immediately came up with a uscellular APN which really makes me believe somewhere in the phone its still holding a USCellular APN and not using the AT&T one even though it is set in the Network settings of the phone.

Nokia 6.1+ TA-1103 running Pie: Unable to access Mobile Data. (Mobile Network State:

Recently received my Nokia 6.1plus TA-1103 on Thursday.
Before I switched the sim from my older damaged phone, I turned on the Nokia and set it up, wherein the Oreo Go OS was updated to Pie.
After the phone was set up I put the sim in SIM SLOT 1, with a 128 GB MicroSD card in slot 2.
The first thing I noticed is that I was unable to access mobile data.
My service provider's APN settings very simple to program so I created the APN and put it in use.
STILL NO MOBILE DATA.

I can make and receive phonecalls, send and receive texts, even update my mobile data (Which is active with my service provider by the way) running USSD codes. Just no mobile data connectivity.
Wi-Fi works just fine.
What I tried thus far:
Updating the APN settings to match that of my service provider.
Taking the phone in to the Service Providers Technicians to confirm correct settings. (They were stumped)
Moving the SIM card from SLOT 1 to SLOT 2.
Hard resetting the device with the sim card in (SLOT 1).
Still No mobile data connectivity!
Everything else works on the handset as it should except for this one aspect.
Where do I go from here?
I'm having similar problem, except that it won't work with my current provider. It should work, the phone supposedly supports the bands that they use. The techs at provider have no idea how to make it work. All settings like APN etc, are as they should be. The data also works fine when i put the sim in my old phone.
I tried a sim card of a different provider and the data does work with that provider.
My phone is the TA-1099 with international rom running Pie.

I also have the same problem.
I have exactly the same issue, did you guys manage to resolve this problem? Everything works well, but the mobile data transfer.
It seems that the android pie upgrade from oreo was done sloppy. If the phone was to be downgraded to Oreo would that fix the issue with the mobile transfer.

Can I use a Global Rom on a T-Mobile N10?

Hello I have a T-Mobile unlock N10 I would like to know if I can install a N10 global Rom or NA in it. I have noticed that the global version have certain settings that are not greyed out

Just to be clear I have an T-mobile unlock n10 but I am using H2o wireless services. I am interested in getting the wifi calling option as my girl have a n10 from oneplus and that option is there for her to choose.
Edit: I believe my Bootloader is not greyed out (able to unlock) as we contacted T-mobile and was able to unlock phone for other carriers
Thanks

I can't guarantee compatibility for your specific carrier but yes the process that I linked you will allow you to install the global version of the ROM on a T-Mobile device.

Cool ...now I saw a thread on magisk for install would any be better than the other method ?...thanks again
If you check out the post "Found a chink in the armor" you'll find a debloat tweak. That will allow the OEM Unlocking to be clickable. Request your unlock token from oneplus, and unlock and root as normal. I just completed it. I am NETWORK LOCKED, for now there is a work around.
You can see here I am still network locked. The other pics will show you I'm also bootloader unlocked and rooted.
