It's been a while I'm looking to convert my G Pad 8.3 v500 to a GPE. But how? I don't wanna hear anybody saying install equivalent like AOKP, CM etc. Is there a way?

[Q] CM11 IR Blaster Issue

Hello guys,
I have installed CM11 Nightly on my LG G Pad V500 and everything is working amazingly well, except the IR Blaster, that is not being recognized.
Does anyone knows how to correct it?
The version I am currently using is 11-20140305-NIGHTLY-v500.
Thanks!
The IR blaster is lg proprietary it does not work on anything but stock last I knew.
Someone made QuickRemote work on the LG G2: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2596104
Something similar was tried for the G pad, but I think it doesn't work properly in cm11: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568914

To all Devs, Firefox OS for OG

Hi mates
this is a video in which you can see firefox OS running on Optimus G E975. It's just a beta port with necessary thing not working:

I don't know this guy but apparently he's my compatriot
quoted from him:
Hello every one.
This is Firefox OS installed on LG Optimus G. This version is specially for LG Nexus 4 (Mako). Because of same technical specifications of these phones, with some changes on updater-script file we can use it on LG Optimus G too.
But as I checked important things, following functions doesn't wok:
1- SIM CART is not supported (Calling, SMS, Data,...)
2- Camera
3- Speakers
4- Touch Keys
Other functions are OK, But its not still ready for a daily use and its just for testing.
Finally, I should thanks xda-developers.com website and its developers, also Mozilla organization developers that port this ROM for LG Nexus 4 that we can also use it on our powerful LG Optimus G

Can someone get LG GPad 8.3 QPair feature run in our Note 8.0 (N5110)? (Or someone know any other way to do something like this?)

That would be quite difficult to do, and not very useful, IMO... The compatibility is not determined by the device, but rather by the ROM that is used. Many multifunctional modules are often only partially compatible, e.g. Gravity Box, XBlast, Wanam Kit and such. Besides, many people would only use a fraction of features available in such modules, so they might not even know whether some other features are compatible with their ROMs. Listing all compatibility scenarios would just be impossible...
I can provide my list, but a doubt it would be very useful...

Is Ubuntu Possible for Optimus G Pro?

Is it feasible we will experience this same benefit as the G?

I hope so!
Alternatively, has anyone attempted either of these options for Ubuntu"
