Hallo im new Here so Sorry If this has been posted before , but ive searched the entire google And Nothing!!!
I Have Sgh i747 at&t , I Moved To Lebanon ( and Unlocked It to use Sim Card in Lebanon)
Then I rooted It and Installed CM ROM
The Last Rom Ive Been Using was CM 10.2...
All Was Going Great !
After That I moved To Germany , ive put Flight Mode In the Plane
When I was in the airport i deactivated the Fight Mode AND !!! it Began Bootlooping over and over again
No Matter What CM ROM i Flash they always led to the Same Bootloops ( first it starts normally , i can unlock the screen but then it freezes and starts rebooting and so on )
I Dont Want to Go Back To The STOCK 4.1.1 ROM ( so bad )
Please Any Suggestions Would Be greatly appreciated
( Yes i wiped Dalvik/cache/ system and everything )
Install the latest version of Philz Touch and install Carbon Kit Kat or Validus Kit Kat to see if that solves the problem.
You should also make sure your bootloader is at least 4.1.2.

I Have Updated To Paranoid Rom ( Kitkat version )
The rebooting is solved
but now i put my Sim Card( from Germany ) , and the phone asks the Pin Code, I Put The Pin But Nothing Happens and SIM Card is Not Activated ! !!!

I have searched the whole cell but only found (2G-3G-LTE)
can u tell how can I change the network type in paranoid ROM?

Hi!
In Paranoid Android, look at System Settings --> Security --> Set up SIM card lock. See if the Lock SIM card checkbox is activated. You might be able to deactivate the required PIN input in order to use the phone if you know you SIM card PIN.

Calm..
1.Try flashing latest radio(careful)
2.Flash a cyanogenmod stabe build and see if this resolves the problem.
3.Try sim with airplane mode on.(if thats possible on rempuzzle) and then turn it off.
Today i switched to 4.1.2 mf2 and i tried some custom roms but then i decided to revert back to 4.1.1 with patched recovery and kernel where i was previously on but something weird is happening my sim is not detecting and i cannot make calls when i insert sim there is emergency calls only on notification area but there is vodafone services icon in app drawer please help i tried switching roms on mf2 its fine but on 4.1.1 its not.i tried removing and inserting sim also ,tried changing modems,also tried factory reset but nothing helps please see screenshots:-

Check your imei and baseband version.
Vodafone services application suggest device have detected sim but there mey be one of these possibilities.
-may be you have lost imei
-may your imei gets banned
-you got network locked.

oh thanks dr.ketan and dabenaute it was my imei which was modified like 004 etc i restored it from my backup and rebooted it and i have my sim working fine thanks

The fix is for this problem
Code:
*Turning WiFi on
*Searching for WiFi networks (Stays here forever)
The fix is
1.Remove the battery and THE SIM CARD then insert battery
2.Go into CWM and do a A CLEAN WIPE
3.Re-flash ROM and reboot
4.WiFi is finally working and you can insert the sim card after the next reboot
Note:if after you inserted the sim card after the next reboot and the problem did come back go into "setttings" => "wifi" => "advanced" => "wifi region code" => "Europe"
And finally the problem is fixed :victory:
Don't forget to smash Thanks

my phone was problem with wifi when i tried to downgrade to 4.2.2 and unlock it a few month ago, now could i use CM10 to fix wifi?

thanks but after insert sim return the problem and every reboot we should change the region code ....same country problem if you run jb roms you can try wifix apk it work good with me but not work in kk yet

Help us to help you. How did it happened? you changed something? a rom? are you rooted unrooted? just tell us the history of the problem.

yes my phone is rooted......what was happened that after installing aliance rom what i did i started the installation of paranoid rom from the file manager by clicking on the file..... then phone rebooted to recovery and installation started but aroma installer .... then i stopped everything just by pulling the battery out ..... and then flash the cwm6-root-n7100 custom recovery file from odin and upon then i am facing this problem....
in settings>about phone>status > it says
network - vodafone
signal strength - -81 dbm 16 asu
mobile network type -- EDGE
service state ---- OUT OF SERVICE
mobile network state ----- disconnected
imei no. is there

And finally you have paranoidandroid or back again in the previous rom? With a little search in the forum i found this "Hey...I found out why I didn't have service and was able to fix it. When I had flashed AOKP, there is a setting in the Mobile Networks screen to change the CDMA subscription to RUIM/SIM. Somehow (probably playing around) I changed it from the NV to RUIM/SIM. THEN, I nandroided back to stock, and had no service. As far as I know, that CDMA Subscription option isn't on the STOCK ROM...so I was baffled. Good thing I remembered what I did."
Try it and report..!

i'd recommend that you flashed again your previous rom to see if it is rom related or not. I ve read somewhere that some people had problems with the signal when flashing aokp.

I am suffering a very similar and strange problem. I have a Dmc3 deodexed and rooted Rom with NEDLK1 baseband (3 ITA operator) since 3 months. I have done nothing special (no new apps nor flashes) in the latest weeeks. I have never flashed any other ROM. But 2 days ago I saw NO service. I have correct imei, could even surf the web but no telephone functions. Rebooting the phone did not work.
I thought of a SIM card issue and yesterday I asked my operator for a new sim. While I was waiting the new sim to be enabled, today I pushed in my Note 2 another SIM by another operator. After some hours I had the same trouble with this SIM.
So the problem is the Telephon. I don't know if hw or sw, but there is an issue.
Now to see what may be, first I changed the baseband Modem and flashed a stock XXDLK7 and inserted the new Sim inside. Now I will wait and see.
In case of continuing issue, I will try and go back to full stock operations.

Hello guys. I had the same problem, and it was a hardware problem. The solution is really simple: put onto the left of the camera, inside the chassis, a small piece of papero of 3 mm. It's enough to strenght the connections of the flat of the SIM card connectors to the motherboard

So I look around and finally in Chinese forum, found a method to flash Fulmics.
On Fulmics ROM 5.3, my D858HK works smoothly and the battery performance is similar to stock rom.
Everything is ok and I can use 4G. (I use one sim, two sim is not test.)
The only problem is the IMEI is lost (but I can still give and receive call) and the advance wifi in setting will force close.
I don't know whether it is work for your phone. I am not responsible for any harm to your phone , I am just sharing what I did to flash the rom.
What you need(in my case):
stock 6.0 rooted rom
TWRP(I use the unofficial twrp_3.0.2-0_d856_16-05-14)

Attention:You may lose you IMEI.
Follow these steps:

Put the Fulmics ROM 5.3 , dual sim v4 and modem5_6_3 into external sd card.https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-NY-GIlMMxSV0tMSmtEYndIMmc

Flash Fulmics, you just choose d855 in aroma installation.

I lost signal whenever I select the both status (my phone number, model no. IMEI, etc.) of sim card but it goes back normal here’s the error message “Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped”

Flash fulmics 5.2 or 5.3 it's a small ota update fix wifi advance setting force close
Worked. Thanks so much. Text messages cant switch between sim cards though. No shortcut button or separate sim buttons. Have to do it manually from the status bar
