Hello
I upgraded my n5100 to kitkat .then root it by CF Auto root.but root checker says "Sorry. This device does not have proper root access."
Try rerooting it with Phil's latest cwm - that's what I had to do.

Where did you find KitKat for T311? AFAiK it's out only for T310 (wifi only variant) not 3g.

If you update your Tab with a Stock Firmware, you lost The root.
You must root it again and install The supersu.ZIP and The supersu.app

It won't work on your device as you have a locked bootloader.

Hello All,
Need some help. I have a GT-N5120 (Note 8.0 LTE) with the latest BTU firmware n5120xxdod1. I searched all over the internet on methods of how to root this build but to no avail. Can anyone suggest a method on how to root this latest firmware?
Thanks.
Have you tried flashing supersu from recovery? This may also work with Odin: https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
Managed with your suggestion... although I had to root it twice before it worked properly since the 1st root still blocks SuperSU. thanks
