Is there software available that will block unwanted sms messages and remove from the device? Blooking calls would be a nice feature as well. Any suggestions suitable for WM05
There is Call SMS Blocker. It works fine in my Alpine but I couldn't manage it to work in my Blue Angel. Try it.
This might be what you're after... It's a blacklist/white list app which enables voice/sms blocking, with notifiactions of the calls/messages blocked, and the ability to set up a default SMS to be sent to senders advising them you're unavailable etc... found it on this forum, and love it
Hello!
I want to know if blocking someone in the phonebook of HTC One X(Sense 4 and 4+) blocks only calls and sms or also whatsapp??
I have a question regarding the built in call blocker in cm11 specifically Remix.
I activated the call blocker and notification and it works.
But is there a way to block the call AND still see, which number has been blocked?
Help, please?
I only see the notification, which has a number.
BUT: If two calls were blocked, I don't see the number anymore. Using the notification only works with one number.
Anybody know a way to blacklist phone numbers in the stock OP3 phone app?
Miss this and granular DND control.
Good question. I couldn't find an option either.
I could block senders for sms msgs though.
Hi everyone, I'm on vanilla Android P with the latest security patch.
Question's in the title - is there a way to block calls from private numbers? Specifically callers that have chosen to obscure their numbers so that when the call comes, it just shows "Private Number" (I have caller ID turned on).
If there's no native way of doing this on the stock ROM, could I achieve this with an app? I'm not rooted and don't intend to root.
Thanks!
Not possible to block private numbers using the Google dialer as there is no setting for it. Switching to another dialer will work so long as the replacement dialer has the option, but you of course lose things like the ability to screen calls using the Google Assistant.
