is it possible to install custom boot logo using this rom? was easy to do on venom but iv not found an option for it on revolution
copy your boot animation to /system/customize/resource with the name hTC_bootup_one.zip
Check out Rom Toolbox, they have an awesome selection of boot animations. Just change the install path to the one in the post above.

hi, just want to know how do i apply custom bootanimations (in .zip) in my rooted DHD?
Are you using a stock rom? Just copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/customise/resource/. If your using a custom rom, the bootanimations are usually in /data/local/ or sometimes in /system/media/. Just look in thoes directories, whateva one has the bootanimation.zip in, is the one you wanna copy your new one too

I am using Deck's gingerbread AOSP ROM and I cannot find where the bootanimation is located. I've switched it out in Sense before so when I find it i am sure I can switch it. Any help would be appreciated.
The bootanimation is in /system/media in AOSP roms.
All I see is a file named "audio"

Deck's doesn't have a boot animation stock. Just stick whatever boot animation you want to use in system/media and it will work.
Hey guys, is there any way to change the boot animation on LeeDroid ROM, it is good, but I wish for something different. Any help would be appreciated.

Use Android flasher to change it.
Recently I downloaded ROM Toolbox Lite, but can't seem to get the custom boot animations working. I set the location to /system/media/ and ran the install boot animation script, but I still get the same default animation. Any suggestions? If it helps, I am running Juggernaut v5.0.

How u have explained it is how I have done updates in the past and changed from one rom to another however I have had this rom on since the One X was released so I'm going up a few upgrades in one hit, I am updating from Android Revolution HD 3.0.0 to Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_13.0 don't we have to flash the boot.img for 13.x (v.0.1) and use Super Wipe?
I have also been reading posts that are saying something about making sure u have the correct CID as this rom will only work with CID HTC xxx, I haven't come across this when re romming a phone before
