Hi ,
just installed the Android Revolution 8.1 on my new htc one m8.
but i got problems while i want to setup my google account.
when i want to log in on my account there comes an error message:
couldnt connect to google servers, pls try again later.
with an other rom everything works fine
maybe you got an idea how i can fix this ?
thank you
No one who can help ?
Remove google account and readd - or clean all Google services/framework/store cache etc then remove account reboot and re-add. Give it two minutes to settle and try again.
you have cell or wifi reception right? if no wifi, did you choose the right provider during install?

Try it again today. I got a network error on the Market last night and now it is working fine. If you are still getting an error try going into Titanium and clear data for Google Framework Services and Gmail.
Coucou !
I've got a problem after flashing a CyanogenMod on my Wildfire: I can't log in Google Play Store. I've checked for an answer, here and elsewhere: am I alone?
Here is my phone:
- ROM CyanogenMod 7.2, It worked with RC1, but with RC3 or Nightly 20120610, no way to log, freshly installed of course.
- Google Play 3.4.6 or 3.5.19, both installed from .apk from SD card, same problem. Application installed of course in internal memory, not extended nor on SD card.
- After or before MTD, same problem, tried both.
The application is correctly installed. I launched it and, then it asked me to add an account to go on. I select "Yes", of course, and the application close! Back to main screen.
I tried to manually add my Google account in "Parameters/Accounts and synchronisation/Add an account" (sorry, direct translation from french, I hope it's correct), but it only propose me to create a Exchange account.
What is wrong? What's the problem?
Have you flashed the full gapps rather than just installing the apk?

Yeh, cm7 aren't allowed any Google apps anymore for legal reasons, so you need to flash a zip first with all the files in. You'll then be able to connect to Google servers. http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip

Hi,
I just updated to Jelly Bean 4.2, everything is running fine but my WhatsApp.
It keeps on "Initializing" forever. If i wait til it's over, a message will appear:
Failure
Sorry, WhatsApp was unable to complete initialization. Please check that you are connected to the internet and try again.
Please reboot your phone if your connection problem persists
I've uninstalled, reinstalled via google play or downloading the apk from their website/clear data/force close, tried with wifi, 3g and can't get anything different.
I keep receiving messages/notifications but i can't get into the app.
Anyone going through the same issue?
*(i'm all stock, rooted and unlocked. Viber is working fin, but i don't think all this will make any difference)
Whatsapp had in the recent time a lot of problems. Wait some time and try again. You did everything that I would told you to do(like wipe app data, reinstall etc.)
Myn is also not working same problem

thanks for the reply, guys
It's working now after several tries...
I don't know if there's something to do with it, but while my whatsapp was on "initalizing", a received a phone call. When i hang up shortly after, WhatsApp was already at the contacts screen.
Edit:
Installing and downloading the whatsapp.apk directly from whatsapp homepage seems to work.
Same, stuck for over 10 hours.
Fresh 4.2 Install.
Tried everything, most definite its whatsapp server problem.
There is a work around where you install an older version, try to sync and then update.
But you cant see the contacts.
same here... is getting stuck on initializing.... I was able to sync the contacts but I'm not able to enter to the app.... I'm waiting for an update....
server issue
It's a server problem because m facing this issue on iPhone aswell.
It's working well now

Thanks ! Worked for me too : I downloaded v2.8.7268 from Whatsapp website and initialization worked. I then updated from play store.
i was having problem with cm7.1.5 so installed cm7.2...
on 1st start of whatsaap it gave me msg about having custom rom can create problem as it does not support whats app..
then also i proceeded n i was facing same problem.it was stuck on initializing.
then after lots of different tries it worked on one trick...
what i did was :
1.1st backup all my contacts(mobile).
2.then cleared data in contact storage in manage apps.
3.installed whatsapp 2.8 which was backup earlier
4.clicked "Agree and continue" then entered my mobile no. but,it told me that whatsapp new version must be installed.
5.i then upgraded whats app from play store.
6.After installation was complete i opened it and it was started from same step of application of entering mobile no.
7. i entered no. , restored data from old backup of whatssapp, all messages were restored.
now my Display Picture , Name got appeared.
8.clicked next, shortcut of whatsapp was created. in 1 sec it got initialized, n continue button got appeared.
9. now i was having messages but no contacts(whatsapp).
10. now i restored contacts(mobile) from softwere i was using. and now after opening whatsapp m having contacts.
It worked on my phone... try it... best of luck...

(Solved) Hello,
i'm using a xperia s with CM10 + gapps,
but when flashing the rom my phone still had all its data( music, photo's, former, apps ) wich was alot of crap.
so i decided to factory reset my phone, after doing so, i couldn't access/sign in to my google account, or create a new 1.
when i'm asked for my email and password, and i enter them i receive this message:
" Can't establish a reliable connection to the server.
This could be a temporary problem or your android device may not be provisioned for data services. if it continues, call customer care."
- wifi connected, yes
- data connection available, yes
- i tried making a new google account, i get the same message
- before posting this thread, i've searched upon the internet, and ran into a site, telling me i have 2 step verification, I dont
- tried reflashing rom and gapps, same problem
Sorry for my english for i am dutch,
Have you tried reflashing the ROM and gapps?

Hello guys
I am having problems with my Nexus 7 2013 LTE, After updating using OTA I was not able to download or update Apps using play store, so I removed my account just to find out that I can't re-add the account. So I factory reset the device but again I am not able to add my account.
The message I get is:
Can't establish a reliable connection to the server.
This could be a temporary problem or your Android device may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues , call customer Care.
I tried everything my mind can thing. Wiping data and cache, flashing stock image, locking and unlocking bootloader. Tested using 2 Accounts and I even created a new one from the Nexus without luck. I am not using 2 way verification.
Any help?
thanks
No one has this problem?
Have you tried doing it on both WiFi and LTE?

Make sure your Date & Time is set correctly.
Tested under wi-fi / 3g (no lte here), The date is set correctly.
Under Kitkat all works fine. The problem is only with lollipop. If I get the ota and just update I can't download anything from play store, if I clean install I can't sign in with google accounts.
