How do you set up a2sd correctly? Please Help!

I am running Myn's rom and cannot figure out how to set up the a2sd correctly. Can anyone help me with this? Please!
Make sure your sd card is partitioned then download darktremor a2sd. I flash it after a clean install then go to the market download terminal emulator its free. Then type "su" then hit enter it should ask for superuser permission accept then type "a2sd cachepart" then it will do the rest and automatically reboot and your good

Please help me with this...so lost.
Rom: Myn's Warm 2.2 RLS4
Kernel: "2.6.32.15-netarchy-toastmod-4.9.1-cfs [email protected] #8"
I've tried this:
This is how I got my apps2sd to work.
1. BACK UP YOUR MEMORY CARD TO YOUR COMPUTER
2. Using AmonRa's recovery
3. Boot into recovery mode
4. Select Partition SD card
4. Set: 512 Ext: 1024
5. let it finish select SD:ext2 to ext3
6. go back to usb-ms toggle
7. Put all your stuff back on your memory card now
8. I went to Wipe data/factory reset then wipe cache, wipe Dalvik-cache and finally wipe SD:ext partition.
9. Then flash the rom and let it boot all the way up
10. Reboot into Recovery
11. I flashed kings bfs #9 and Baked #6 and both work (may work with stock kernal, but have not tryied it)
12. reboot
13. connect usb to phone and using adb type (IF ADB IS NOT WORKING FOR YOU USE THE INSTRUCTION BELOW IN RED)
Code:
adb shell
then
Code:
/system/bin/a2sd check
you should see some properties
scroll down and look to see if dalvik cache is run on sd card if not type
Code:
a2sd cachesd
the phone will reboot by itself
If phone is stuck in boot screen, kernal may not support apps2sd, try to install a other kernal.
once again using adb type
Code:
adb shell
then
Code:
/system/bin/a2sd check
make sure dalvik cache is now running on sdcard
also check to see if Zipalign is set to boot if not type
Code:
a2sd zipalign
And I've tried this:
1. Download the program from the previous post.
2. Determine if you have setup your sd card with an ext partition
if you have setup your sd card already (existing users of a2sd...any version):
A. Copy the program to your sd card.
b. Reboot into recovery
if you have not setup your sd card (for those new to a2sd):
A. backup your sd card to your computer. can't stress this enough, as partitioning will wipe the entire card.
B. Reboot into recovery
c. In android system recovery, select partition sdcard
d. In the partition sdcard menu, select partition sd
e. Follow the instructions on the phone to partition your sd card. You can optionally set a swap file while you are partitioning your sd card.
F. In the partition sdcard menu, select sd:ext2 to ext3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
G. only perform this step if you want ext4 and your rom supports it: in the partition sdcard menu, select sd:ext3 to ext4. Follow the instructions on the sdcard.
h. Press the back button on the phone to go back to the main menu.
I. Put the a2sd file on the sd card (and all your other files you backed up earlier) by selecting usb-ms toggle and transfer the files to your computer.
3. In recovery, select flash zip from sdcard.
4. In flash zip from sdcard, select the a2sd package file you downloaded earlier. Press home to flash.
5. Reboot phone.
And it still shows my apps are taking up internal storage. What the hell am I doing wrong? Please help me out with this, it's starting to drive me nuts. I can't have all my games on my phone, let alone market apps. Please and thankyou.

Correct - you are not partitioned. Do this from above:
1. BACK UP YOUR MEMORY CARD TO YOUR COMPUTER ( as in - copy/paste)
2. Using AmonRa's recovery
3. Boot into recovery mode
4. Select Partition SD card
4. Set: 512 Ext: 1024
5. let it finish select SD:ext2 to ext3
6. go back to usb-ms toggle
7. Put all your stuff back on your memory card now (you’ve essentially wiped your sd card so you have to put stuff back)

IIrc asec is where the froyo apps2sd hack stores its stuff. So ignore it, wrong byte order for fat32, -hack- but no readable data so the kernel can retrieve lost symlinks to apps - hack-

[Q] How to create a partition in external sd card to move internal apps

Hi,
Could any one help??
How to create a partition in external sd card to move internal apps
Flash a Recovery if you haven't already done so (ClockwordMod is best).
Navigate to the Recovery from the Bootloader
Select "Advanced"
Then select "Partition SD card"
Choose your desired size. Keep swap size to 0M and let it do its thing.
Then from this thread: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1972262), download that archive and place it on your SD card and flash it from recovery (Recovery > Install from a zip)
Good luck!
thanks
