Recently, I downloaded the Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour Meltdown update from Play Store. But when I try to run the game it bootloop between Gameloft Logo and black screen. I didn't use Chainfire 3D or GLTools. I am on Revolutionary S5 v3 4.3 Custom ROM with Boeffla Kernel. If any one faced this problem before and has a solution, please share your solution and help me. I really want to play this game. Asking for a refund will taking a long time again. So, dear friends please help me out

First copy the data file of the game that is ul find it in Android/obb and then just back up the apk via tb and restore it but only the app now change the kernel probably stock kernel would give a clear idea and then restore the data file to the same folder Android/obb and launch the game i have a strong feeling this should definitely fix it i had the similar prob with boeffla!

Sorry to say that this does not solve it. Now after the gameloft logo it says 'checking files' then 'Game has been successfully downloaded. press OK to start playing' and after I click OK it is stuck at black screen.

Anyone having trouble downloading if you are using a custom rom you must have the sprint app updater installed in your system app folder.
I am having difficulty with that actually. Where can I get that apk to move to the system folder?
Edit: Found the apk in another ROM and just ripped it out. Will try again once I have Wifi again lol

This is strange I don't have the sprintappupdater on my phone running SRF 1.2. I have been able to install the pas 2 games.

I bought HAWX for $0.99 and it would send me to a broken link when trying to download the game before I put the sprint updater in system folder. Now when I try it I get "Sorry, there was a problem installing the update." Weird indeed... Maybe the customer service will help on Monday.

Bought the fifa 2011 it took my money perfectly. But when it came to downloading it a message pops up and says something like an internal error or an unidentified error occurred guess it might be because im running custom rom so now I need to find that sprint update app anyone got a link for it and how im supposed. To install it

I just pulled it from the ACS Bamboozled ROM. Found in system/app. Then move it to your current system/app folder. May find it in other ROMs.

did anybody figure how to get modern combat 2 working yet i got the sprint updater apk installed already im on syndicate rom frozen 1.2 and it starts to download but always stops like 20 secs in saying a problem occurs , called gameloft they sent me the apk again i downloaded yet same thing happens do i need anything else to get it to workkkkk?

Downloaded the initial file, click on the shortcut and get the message about needing to download additional data. Then it immediately gives me a server error.
"A server error has occurred. Please visit www.eamobile.com/countrygate to choose your country and click customer support link. (5002)
Anyone else run into this and figured out how to correct it?

Did you trya reboot. I used to get that on my tegra 2 tablet and could never get an ea game to run.

Are you running a different ROM? Fifa12 works on my n7 which is stock. Having a different DPI will give you that error. Certain Roms on here change the DPI setting which screws that up and also stops some apps from showing up in the market.
Also if you have changed the size of you're navigation bar you will get that message. If you have then put it back to default size.

Did you follow the link and make sure there weren't any adjustments that needed to be done? I did this a while back and it works fine, bought Fifa when it was on sale.
I couldn't download one day but next day I could. This has been discussed in the gaming thread... some said it could be the ROM you are running

I had the same issue. Had to flash a stock ROM to download the necessary files. I looked around and sounds like it has something to do with the resolution.
Flash a ROM with stock nav bar size and it should work fine.

Was having this problem on my Nexus 7 running Cookies and Cream with tablet mode. Switched to stock UI and hey presto... it works. Awesome

So I was playing around last night installing some new apks and everything was going fine.... until I installed the grand theft auto 3 apk. I went to downloads and installed app and it sent me to a screen to download game. Had a big black box and a III logo to the side. Nothing would happen when I clicked it. So I went back to the make menu and when I get on there it just says ouya launcher crashed. I can play games and still access everything on the system except the make menu now. It only crashes when I go to it. Any suggestions? I deleted the GTA apk from the system download menu already.

Probably a dumb question on my part, but have you tried rebooting since you removed the apk?

I've tried the reboot a few times. Left it off all day tried again later and still the same. I installed GTA 3, fdroid, and retroarch from the ouya store. It started happening after I tried to install GTA 3. Hoping I don't have to reset everything but I just got it the other day so it wouldn't be too bad if I had to.

what do you mean you deleted the APK. Did you uninstall the application in the settings - apps menu?
Here are a couple shot in the dark ideas
You may want to try and sidelaod it via adb and then remove it via adb?
Try and delete the data off the sdcard that is associated with the game.

I couldn't find everything through filepwn and I couldn't get into the make menu to use es file explorer so I found the app auot pilot. It let me reboot and go straight into es so I was able to delete all the remains of GTA and fdroid. Now I can go back into the make menu and all is right in the world again

I've had issues with ouya launcher crashing, I'll uninstall f-droid and see if anything changes.

Haven't played games in awhile.
But I have a verdict, F-droid seriously destabilizes OUYA. After uninstalling my system is no longer crashing so far. In fact Shine Runner and Beach Buggy Blitz were no longer running more than a minute or two and now run great again.
Go ahead and reinstall gta3.

I got terrible download speeds while downloading data from play store.. I tried copying the data files from computer to the /android/data folder.. But the game does not seem to be detecting the data.. I tried and I continued downloading from play store. But after about 37%, it was not changing even 1mb.. So I cleared all cache and started the app.. It's again starting from 0%..
Any idea what's happening?
Edit: I figured out that while deleting cache and unused data, this file " asset_list_base.txtCache.txt" got deleted..
I tried downloading again and this file was back.. Just to make sure, I deleted this file and started the game. Download started from 0%.. I need a way to get this right..
Edit 2: never mind.. Got it working..

hi guys.. i want to play nfs most wanted on my grand. i am in cm11. i installed the game and ran it....but it got stuck in the first image. i have even tried mounting it with gltosd. my internal storage is 1.5gb free after installing the game. i have no other game installed. still its getting stuck. please help. i desperately wanna play the game on my device. :crying:
Its data problem actually..u should try some other data and apk which downloads this data..(many apks got flaws...my sticks after the game and reboots ..so don't play it..asphalt I find better..still.its ur personnel choice ..so.
