Hello, I've bought my phone used and it has India updates instead of Argentinian ones.
Is it there a way to change that?
Customization Version: 1270-7911_R2C
Thanks a lot; actually pretty bored of waiting India Kitkat ( at this point I think it will never come out )

Ok, now we just need to find the smali code which is responsible for checking the DRM keys.

I use a stock rom, and for me it was opening it was the new decision
when I tap on "Start" my XS say me "Impossible to start the donwload" why?
I have a stock rock with advanced stock kernel
I was reading that there's an OTA update launching (currently only in Germany), and I was wondering, so i would know in the future, if I could update my rooted S4. Would the software update interfere with root? Will it take it off or what?
I'm on stock rom btw

Most likely you would loose ROOT with an OTA update.
The only way you would not loose root with an OTA update
would be if the update did not contain a kernel.
Good luck!
You can't update if you're rooted. Just wait for the devs to incorporate the update into their roms.

Did some research.
You can update if you have root, but you will lose root, just like the second post said. I use a the stock rom, I don't use any custom roms so I can't depend on your second statement.

If you try to update while rooted, the phone will say updates not available on a modded device.

^^^ what he said
Get the latest firmware from Sammobile, install it via Odin, check the "keep root" option, voilĂ , now you have the latest stock rooted rom on the block.

Look in the General section - [GUIDE] Update firmware with locked bootloader & root (14.3.A.0.757)
This guide to root.....(keeping bootloader locked)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2634196
You have to downgrade z1c first (steps 1-8), then you can change steps 9 and 12 for the latest .757 fw from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2688933

Whichever method u prefer. If things screw up, we can always download the whole firmware from Sammobile & flash again through Odin.

Yup. My 8.4 T705 was stock NF7. Updated it via OTA to NF8. all PDA CSC and Modem were updated as well. I just rooted it using Odin 3.09 and the linked file given. It works.... SuperSU was installed without any problems. Used Root Checker and all well...
