Hey, can anyone recommend a good lock screen alternative that's quite minimal but let's you add widgets. I'm using Nova launcher on my m8 but I can't stand the HTC lock screen and weather widget that you can't remove. Thanks!!!!

You can change it using Xposed and Gravity Box KK. I use the AOSP lockscreen and Chronus widget.

Did you restart lp after?
The themes are going to be under widget settings and for each individual widget you can set the theme for it. Restart launcher pro afterwards.

And what about theme'ing everything else? I.e. calling bar, unlock screen bar- does the phone has to be rooted to do in example call/answer bar theme'ing?
I know you can disable it in 5.5 but can you I'm sense 6?
I have Google this and it only mentions 5.5

It seems like it's just a homescreen replacement app... I installed Nova and it asked me if I wanted to use it or HTC's Blinkfeed. I chose Blinkfeed, because I wanted to try it out.
Yes you can disable it. Just bring two fingers togerher on the screen to pull up the widget options. In the top you will see the screens you have, one of them is blinkfeed, long press on it and darg it to remove. I like my phone without blinkfeed.

It's annoying, I know, but I do think you will be able to get used to it. I recommend changing the grid size up a notch and giving it a chance. I'm now trying to get the similar effect on other launchers lol

Here you go a brief way of doing it with Nova Launcher
I'm running GPE 4.4.3, and always use the Power Control widget on my second screen. But the standard version is all black, would love a transparent version, would go well with my other widgets.
Is that out there ?
