Hi,
I am in India and planning to buy this phone
Budget is around 25K +-2K
Usage - 3G, WiFi, Emails, Social networking, 3D biig games (sometimes)
Need good battery life as most of the time I am on filed meeting clients.
Need good screen display quality (should not see pixelisation)
Confused between - Note 3 neo, HTC 816, Samsung galaxy S4
Suggest if there is any other phone which I can explore.
Battery life? Hands down Note 3 neo.
Screen without obvious pixels? Definitely s4

Note 3 Neo should meet your usage and battery life needs . It's best in terms of battery compared to S4 or Desire 816.
Unless you compare side by side you wouldn't notice the difference of a HD and Full HD screen and it would be in your budget as well

Display is something which you really need to see it first hand before you judge it. I personally find it good enough but your mileage may vary

Correct. I am going to check the phone soon. However, sometimes we dont get to know few things just in 1 or 2 attempts.
thats why asking to ppl who is using it and ever noticed anything ... do u?
I've seen and used a lot of Samsung phones with Super AMOELD displays and never found any issues on this model. Only thing annoying is display profiles ( Standard , Dynamic etc ) is missing as feature is unavailable on 4.3 Jellybean . Hoping to see it on Kitkat update from Samsung

Hey guys !
I got my HTC One X a week ago and preferred it over the Galaxy SIII after thinking alot and I'm glad to make the decision. I used it for a week and no issues uptill now. Multi-tasking is also great, maybe because I the middle east version. I just found that my phone was heating alot twice during this week but not so often. I think all smartphones heat up these days, having owned the iPhone 4 and 4s, Galaxy SII and HTC Sensation, all of them heated just like this one, so I don't take it as much of big deal. I think the phone is great and HTC has improved their sense skin alot and they also have a different sound set on this version. The camera is great. The best of all, the screen, it's GORGEOUS. Now for some pictures. Bought a cover and screen protector along with the phone and the pictures on the phone are with the protector ! Mine is the Taiwanese version.

Thanks Guys ^ I don't why people create a hype about all the issues and bugs. I didn't face any kind of problem with my phone, not even software issues. I was very scared before getting this phone because of all the hype and criticism, obviously as I'm throwing out alot of cash for it, but then I thought there are always rumours and hypes created for every product that is and was and finally bought this phone on my birthday ! and I must say I'm not regretting it. And I just love the build quality and design
And yes, I was gonna get the black one but the white finish of the polycarbonate on this phone is amazing !

To be fair when the phone 1st came out there was bugs in the original software, HTC have since addressed those with updates.
If you willing to root your phone there are options to reduced temperature of the Tegra chip from reducing voltage with custom kernel and disable 1 or 2 cores.
The One X is a great phone, enjoy.

Yea I know those were there, screen flickering and Wi-Fi problems, but having a good experience with HTC products, I can expect updates from them solving those issues.

The build quality and the screen, the design, the materials used in the making, it feels elegant ! And even according to benchmarks there isn't a whole lot of difference between the performance of the galaxy s3 and HTC One X, Rest of the applications on the s3 are gonna be ported on the one X if anyone really cares about them for example the s voice on s3 is already available to all android devices and samsung has unblocked it

Any idea if they ship worldwide? I can't find any other site that is selling these batteries and shipping worldwide.
Also is Sun Global a reputed company or is this like one of those Chinese gold battery makers?
What is the % prolong time?

Im using Gold battry chinese made.
3250mah and its real and fits perfectly without changing any back cover.
I have tested alot on this battry and compared the resualt with orginal on.so i can confirm 50% more juice. And its a bit heavier.
For me with HSPA alway on + no wifi + lots of CPU usage on max will give me 5hour screen and 24+ hour power on.

Btw that Sun Global website doesn't appear to ship international.
In my case this is not fake. Above statments are tested atleast 5 times.Currently im using them and nothing seems fake here.
And what shipping you talking about. I order them from china to europe. Go and check it on ebay by yourself.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the Sun Global website doesn't have any sort of payment processing system at all. They want you to transfer to a Malaysian bank account directly.
I wish someone willing to ship worldwide, sold it on eBay or some site where payment process is easy.

Sun Global Batteries are made in China using "Japan Technology" says so right on the packaging. I just bought one for my wife's Note. First impressions are that it's a sung fit in the battery compartment, but battery appears to work well. It's only one day old so we can't tell if it lasts any longer yet.
So who here has a Note 2?
12 hours left.... I'm trying to sleep but it's like trying to sleep on needles.
Might be able to get my first night of good sleep once I get it xD

Also curious if anyone can confirm how much better the loudspeaker is as Samsung has been weak there (my original HTC EVO loudspeaker always seems way stronger than Samsung handsets I've tried) but very glad to read (however have yet to actually hear) that its loudspeaker is:
http://www.phonearena.com/reviews/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-II-Review_id3134/page/3
"The loudspeaker here deserves special attention - it is very strong, stronger than on the original Note, and much stronger than on the Galaxy S III - but what is more, it sounds much fuller and with deeper bass than what we are accustomed to on smartphones."
Can anyone confirm this? -Thanks

I read the the speaker of the original international Note1 was significantly weaker than the US AT&T variant so not sure to which you're referring to (ATM I can only guess the weaker INTL) but how would you compare it to others including the iPhone etc & are you satisfied with it or still disappointed by the Note2 "loudspeaker"?

Good community here, and I can't see it going anywhere anytime soon. Most people seem to be skipping the note 3 so I'd say our phone will still be relevant for quite some time
Note 3 is not my cup of tea. ..
That processor is gonna sound like a toilet flushing the battery. ..and the camera is lacking image stabilization. .
Leather black color looks odd. ...and 5.7 inches of display was a mistake. ..
Not to mention a guaranteed lock on the bootloader with endless exploit patches sure to come. ..
Sorry. ...I'll keep my rock solid note 2...at least another year. ..or until Sammy puts out the S5 active. ...

The camera does have image stabilization...
Also the processor is more efficient, therefore battery life should be equivalent to ours currently.
"13MP Camera With Stabilization

The phone is moving where the lens is sitting still. It's like it's on its own separate gyroscope!! I first seen it on the Sony camcorder at the CES show. The other functions that we'll get will be nice. But I'll hold out till the next model. Where technology will be very advanced by then...

The camera does have image stabilization...
Also the processor is more efficient, therefore battery life should be equivalent to ours currently.
"13MP Camera With Stabilization
The Galaxy Note 3 includes an upgraded 13MP camera that includes smart stabilization. This is Samsung’s optical image stabilization which will make photos look better thanks to advanced technology. Users also have access to a host of camera modes found on the Galaxy S4 including Dual Shot."

Then Samsung lied...
And besides the obvious boatloader issues...
A custom rom kills the neat software tricks... g

So you're going by rumours from before it was released?
I was using my buddies note 3, and it was way too uncomfortable to use, and the pixel density, and speakers sucked.
S4 is like an iPhone (size and usability wise), mixed with a note (bigger than iPhone).
Perfect phone. Never gonna buy another one.
Agree?

I will maybe upgrade to s5 but I do not like s6 having no way to change battery. I use a 7800mah anker and I can't give up 3 days without charging...

I agree, it is also the perfect phone for me. However, I will upgrade probably when the next flagship is announced from HTC or Samsung

HTC Hima (One M9?)
The portal has leaked images and specs. Apparently, it'll be running the Snapdragon 810 that Samsung just scrapped for the S6 in favor of it's Exynos chipset.
I've got my eye on it
Asus Zen2 looks mighty interesting.
I'm considering this for my next phone, hopefully some dev will take a shine to it and concoct something.

Agreed. Still my daily driver. Definitely love the screen size to phone size ratio..perfect! Developers are still active for this phone (Thanks!). Looking forward to the S6, but it's hard to let go of this phone!
It is the perfect phone
I completely agree. I bought the S4 in 2013 (M919) and lost it. I waited for the S5 and seeing it was crap, I bought the S4 again.
Recently I broke the screen and thought I'd check out other phones.
After filtering my constraints :
- 5 inch max cause I use the phone one handed
- Micro SD
- Physical buttons
- Removable battery
- Full HD display
GSM Arena phone finder returned just one result. The S4
Guess this phone is going to be with me for a long time.

This phone has everything you need, man. Every time I think about upgrading I find some downside that makes me remember why I shelled out so much for the S4 in the first place; this phone has top notch specs that'll last for YEARS as long as you take care of it. I still have the original battery and charger, and I've only had to change screen protectors twice in almost two years. If I were to take off the Otterbox and screen protector, you wouldn't be able to spot the difference between my used S4 and a new one right out of the box.
I'm in no rush to upgrade. I think the only reason that I have anyway is to change it up and try something new. Pound for pound the S4 still holds it's own against current flagships.
