I have it as well, after I shut it down I have to wait several minutes, then I can plug it to the AC and it will respond. Happened after unlocking. Will try to lock it back and let's hope it fix.
EDIT: additional info: if I try access fastboot, it won't work. Let's hope I can fix it.
EDIT2: additional info/2: after flashing stock, I could turn the tablet on normally. It fails when trying to enter fastboot with hardware keys.
EDIT3: I noticed that this actually happens only when I try to enter bootloader with power+vol up + vol down. with only power + vol down I have no problems.
EDIT4: solved by multiple stock ROM flashing and lockink the bootloader. Now I redid the unlock and flashed a cROM, we will see...

Thank you for your help.
After the 4.3 upgrade. I reseted N7, but with unlocked bootloader and rooted. I'll try reset again, lock the bootloader and unroot to see.
For me just the power button when N7 is unplugged doesnt work.

ROM: ParanoidAndroid 3.91
Happened after rebooting when attempting to access twrp recovery. Initially the "battery charging" symbol did show up, but after holding power and volume up+down it's now bricked.
So far I've tried holding power while plugged/unplugged and holding power + volume up+down for 20s while plugged into a computer, and using the adb reboot command (even though it doesn't show up in adb devices).
I'm guessing the responses I'm going to get are:
1) You shouldn't have rooted/flashed your tablet
and
2) you should RMA
So yep... realize that's the general consensus for QHSUSB_DLOAD issues but thought maybe the nexus 7 in particular might have a fix. Or I guess I'm just hoping the "it's dead RMA it" solution is outdated now.
Usually that means the bootloader can't be accessed but there was a person earlier who had the problem and was able to recover

Oh wow. Yep I searched the forum for "qhsusb" with no results so I posted a new thread but... yep. Followed the instructions on this thread:

looking for solution, have the same problem, nexus 7 2013, restarted and than blank screen, When I plug device into PC I get QHSUSB_DLOAD not installed (stock kernel, unroot, everything as from a factory). Holding power on, volume buttons are not helping.

This is a corrupted bootloader. Some have tried holding the power button down for 20-30 seconds. You will most likely need a new motherboard if you cannot access fastboot.

Need some help please !
First of all I'm stuck in bootloop with my nexus 7 2013 (not unlocked). So I pluged my N7 in my computer (windows 7) to flash the Rom. I also have a problem with the driver when I connect my N7 to the computer and I get the message (MTP device failed ). So I've tried to install manually new drivers from Google but it says that my drivers are up to date ??? Now It seems that it's impossible to flash my N7 if my computer doesn't recognize my device.
What is the best thing to do now
thanks in advance

Well, it looks like you have a couple of things going on. I can't remember how I got windoze to recognize the n7, but it had something to do with deleting the driver then plugging the n7 back in and letting it install the driver again. I remember I had to play around with the thing for a little while. Trying to update the driver wouldn't work for me either. As, far as the bootloop, you could try this one click tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2381582 Finally, you could try wugfresh's toolkit if you want to take the lazy route. It actually works pretty well. It might even help with that driver issue. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2389107 you don't use it to install a rom, but you do need to install a custom recovery and the toolkit could help with things like that. I personally use the toolkit to return a tablet or phone back to factory condition, lock the bootloader, etc...
You could also try to do a factory reset from the stock recovery. That fixed a boot loop for me after unlocking my bootloader.
Problem solved
I finally contacted Google Canada Monday morning and spoke with with a tech. Wow...very impressed by the service and my problems are now solved. First we went to Recovery mode ( Power and volume down) in that mode you then press again power and volume up and release at the same time. Then, from that menu you can now swipe all data and it solves the Bootloop problem. Finally I reinstalled all my app and back to normal. I pluged my N7 to my computer and now no more driver problem....
Thanks

Let me get this straight....are you trying to hold volume up & down at the same time? If so, you cannot please both volumes at the same time. Also, to boot into the bootloader (same as fastboot, not recovery) is power + volume down. The easiest way to do this is to hold volume down, then press and hold the power button. If the tab was on, and the screen goes black, let go of the power button, but keep holding the volume down button. It should boot into the bootloader soon enough.
1. Push volume up and power button for 5 seconds then release the power button.
2. Do a complete wipe of the system and reinstall the system.zip again and reboot.
If it doesnt load the recovery do this.:
1. Hold volume down and power button for 5 sec. Release the power button and volume once you enter the download screen.
2. Use odin in your Pc to install the rom you want or stock rom.
(3. If you installed stock rom go back to the steps I wrote at the top and flash a new rom)
Remember that you need to be rooted.
OK so I was trying with the wrong combination.
With both vol up/down + power worked.
I restored and it's up and running again.
Thanks!

Hello everyone.
I apologize for my bad English.
My Htc is dead and will not turn on. I make a list with the details hoping someone can help me.
** The phone will not turn on and the display remains black.
**The phone does not emit any sound and makes no vibration.
**If I connect the charger the phone is charging properly. You turn on the red light and after 10/15 seconds the green one.
**If I connect the phone to the PC 4 devices are recognized but one is not installed. (Attach photo)
**Try and try again to connect the phone to the PC on one occasion, the display has flashed 3 times and for a split second it appeared the inscription HTC.
---- List of tests done:
*I tried to hold down the power button for several seconds (10 to 40).
*I tried to press both volume keys and the power button.
*Replaced FLEAT the power button.
I really hope that someone can help me!!

You never stated what happened to get your device in the state it is and i'm just assuming you did something to brick it, so here
So firstly you need to get the drivers for your device installed.
my advice download WinDroid Universal HTC Toolkit v1.1. It will allow you to easily know if your pc is recognising your device.
Once that is done you need to get your device changed sufficiently.
Go to http://www.hackmyandroid.com/comprehensive-guide-on-unbricking-the-htc-one-x/4216 and follow the instructions.
Charge HTC One X in Fastboot Mode section from the link should help you charge your device
With the ADB folder where it should be on your computer C drive and your device plugged in and recognized, charging shouldn't be a issue
this should cause your device to restart repeatedly until it reaches about 10% battery
I advice once you have completed the charging of your device to the 10% mark that you continue on to the Unbrick the HTC One X as well as the Restoring the nandroid backup sections. You can always install a custom rom like CM11 or a sense based rom instead of doing restoring a nandroid backup
Hopefully your device will be up and running
Goodluck and let me know how it went.
Hello friends.
I got my Pixel XL 2 yesterday and today I'm in trouble already.
I unocked the bootloader, installer twrp and rooted with magik succesfully, but I had trouble installing my apps (titanium backup gave me a parcing error and the googgle play store wanted me to pay again for my purchases for some reason), so I figured I do a factory reset so I get prompted to restore from my old phone via cable. So I went to settings -> factory reset.
The problem is that when android rebooted to erase the data, I instead got dumped into twrp on a screen that says Mount Decrypt Data and is asking me for a lock pattern. But the screen doesn't responds, so I can't proceed. The power hard button just toggles the screen on and off but it does not reboot or turns the phone off when I hold it, so I don't know how to get to my bootloaded to maybe reinstall a factory image or what else to do.
I'm just stuck on that screen without options.
I would very much appreciate any advice.
Hold power, vol up and down buttons until your device turns off.. then go into bootloader by holdind vol down and power
I thank you very much for your reply.
I did booted succesfully into bootloader, but now I'm affraid I jumped from the frying pan into the flame because now my phone doesn't power up at all. If I connect it to the charger I don't get the battery with a lighting bolt that I'm supposed to get. The only life sign I get is if I plug it via USB to my computer, I do get the sound that windows plays when yoy connect something, but other than that, the phone seems to be dead.
I'm guessing it's something with the hardware?

Was the battery low when you started this?
Are you familiar with ADB? When plugged into the computer type adb devices or fastboot devices does it return your device serial number? If so type adb reboot bootoader.
If not I would hold the power button for a good 20-30 second and see if you can force it to turn on or reboot and immediately hold volume down to get back to bootloader.

Thank you very much to everyone for your time and help.
Thanks to your advices I was able to solve it. In case anyone ever finds himself or herself out in a similar situation, here's what ended up happening:
After holding the power button for about 30 secs as Namolas sugested the phone did reboot itself and brought me back to that twrp mount decrypt data screen asking me for a lock pattern. It was then just a matter of adb booting to the bootloader and install a factory image as usual.
Thanks again. I appreciate it guys.

Let we make it clear, If you enter download mode from Android Recovery, you will not see the option to long press volume up to unlock the boot loader. You will see it if you enter download mode: Turn off it, press and hold volume up + volume down together while pressing these keys, connect the phone to PC using USB cable.
enter download mode and long press vol up should fix the problem
I have the same problem with my galaxy fold F900F ..
I can enter to green screen ( download mode ) But there is no option for long press volume up ..
only I get long press volume down + power to restart the phone ...
so how to confirm unlocking bootloader in this case .. ?

Hello,
The problem usually comes when you unlock and lock bootloader too many times (2 or 3). To fix this problem you need to go into download mode - flash the stock firmware from samfw.com and then setup you phone. Then, unlock oem will be available in developer options and then you can unlock bootloader from download mode.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
I think you need to flash the stock firmware. Then, bootloader unlock will be available in the download mode.
FYI If anyone is having this issue like me, just use power button + vol up + vol down button while powered off then connect usb cable, and it worked (for me!)
hey all. I had the same problem and managed to make the hold volume up to unlock option appear by connecting to internet, making a google account and samsung account, and fully completing the setup (no more "finish setting up your phone" notification)
Hope it works for you! there might be some waiting period as I did this over several weeks of playing around with it.

if you want to remove that finish setting up notification, just go to notification info then app info and disable that app, it's redundant anyways

I had the exact same problem with my SM-A505W! I looked everywhere and could not find anything. Eventually, I found a couple of things relating to a bug where you either had to plug in the USB-C earbuds that came with the phone or plug it into one of your computer's USB 2.0 ports. I did the latter.
This is what I did. First off ensured my phone was just like the one noted above by noobynoob7. Next I plugged my phone into a USB 2.0 port on my laptop. At this point I heard my phone connect and noted that the screen showed me my phone was charging.
***Important*** I pressed the volume up and volume down at the same time; then I pressed the power button, holding all three down simultaneously! At this point my phone immediately went into the familiar download mode with the option to long press the volume up button to unlock the bootloader.
I am about to return a S10e G970F because I can't get past this as well. Button combinations mentioned don't do anything for me, completely lost.
EDIT: Fixed now somehow. Sad that I am now apparently forever stuck on Android 12, even with custom ROMs?
