Hi,
I've installed that zip : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2337762
Cause I didn't see it wasn't for the One X, now I'm blocked on the logo when booting...
I installed the cancel.zip via recovery but still nothing...
I re-flashed the boot.img of my ROM but nothing.
What to do please ?? I can't reinstall my ROM and wipe my data (
Thanks in advance !
Why can't you install the rom. You have to install the rom again. Just make sure you dirty flash it (that means no wipe)

Ok I did it but now I get "HTC Sense stopped", "Google Play Stopped", constantly, I can barely and hardly use my phone...
Could flashing the gapps package fix that ??
Thx for your answer !
Ok I think the problem comes from the low internal memory (after reflashing ROM 2 times), I got only 200 mb free out of 5 gb
I deleted a lot of apps and moved a lot to sdcard and still got nearly 4 gb of "other" in internal memory...
I even tried CleanMaster but it couldn't free more than 100 mb.
What to do ????
What rom. If it needs gapps you have to install that too again !

i restarted my phone and its stuck on bootloop, what do i do?
Try reflashing the ROM without wiping. BTW, for better help, honestly, you need to explain a lot more than the 3-4 words you have posted.
Actually i got the same prob. I disconnected from usb without pressing turn off (i use cyanogen 7.0.3 stable). After doing so, adw launcher didnt seem to respond so i decided to reboot. After that, i got boot loop on reboot. Flashing the rom again seems to solve the problem, but only until next reboot. Any suggestions?

The same type of question,2-3 sentance, no spec of phone. Dude post your spec.
Else try a clean install, formatting boot, system, cache, dalivc cache, user data, ext , etc.

Do I perform the permission fix after I install the rom

Nop,not necessarily. Cos some will do it as default. But some wont. But it will do no harm if u do, other than consuming 2-5 minutes .

Ok , then the option remaining is restore from backup. If u have the backup of current rom, go to advanced backup in cwm and do system resrore only. And check if it works. If it wont, do full wipe and do a complete restore. No more optns.:-(

i dont have a backup, unfortunantly, looks like i will have to wait until future releases of splash ics then to see if the problem is with other wildfires trying to run that ROM or if it is just mine :-(
Should i redownload the rom to see if that works for me?
Tried wiping data/cache/dalvik cache/system/data-factory reset, and then reflash? 1st boot always takes more time btw.

Dears, I 'm running alquez cm7.2.0 and since few days all apps updates are failing ..
Anybody found solution? Do I just need to update to 7.2.2?
If the case, is only needed to put the latest update zip file on SD and run update via cwm?
Thx

Theres no cyanogenmod 7.2.2 . If your apps update failed clear data and cache of google play and google service framework and reboot. It should work.

Other suggestions?

Hi Abhi;
Found something..
I uninstalled updates of Google play app and 11 apps managed to get an update. Nonetheless some (maps, Facebook,Google+) are still getting the "invalid package "notification when trying to update.
Tried reboot as well after clearing data but still those are not updating ..any idea?
Thx

Same thing happened for me with modpunk version of CM9. Apps with smaller sizes have no problem updating ,but its the bigger apps as in your and my case which won't update.

I have the same problem of MidhunCN but instead of using his rom i'm using hensemod 7. As above i can update and install only small apps (or so it seems) from play store. If I put the apks on the sd instead, i have no problem installing big apps. Any suggestion?
I even looked at the link posted above but in that folder i have no file like dalvik or cache.

Try re flashing plus a wipe and dalvik wipe. Annoying I know but also back up your user apps only and flash gapps. Worked for me when I went over to cm9...

Hi, I have Speeddroid ICS with ad2sdx and when I try to install some app on Google Play (Facebook but most apps are working.) It reaches 70-90% and it force closes and it say: Process android.process.media has stopped working. Or Google Play has stopped working. So I can`t install some apps .I having it also in older version of Speeddroid too and I have ad2sdx too... How I can remove it? Thanks in advance.

I don't know how you can fix it, other than just Flashing a new ROM of course. But what you can do is download the apps off the Google Play site, then install them using the app like you normally would. Because the problem seems to be in downloading, but if you download not using the app then I suppose that should bypass the problem. It won't fix it though..
Try this....
Flash a new Rom and use Int2ext script....may be ur internal memory is full...

No, I have free 271mb of 502mb.
When JB version of Speeddroid will be available, I will try it...
Try fixing permissions from either ROM manager or CWM. Usually fixes FC's.

Hi I need to reflash my system partition as my current one looks to be damaged but I can not find one to download. My phone has been updated passed the last ruu so can not do it that way but I have been able to extract the ROM.zip from the last ruu avalibal. But I can not uncompress the zip it always reports corrupted. Does anyone know where I can download a system.IMG I can flash with fastboot so I can then flash a custom ROM on to it. Thanks in advance.

Why would you want to do that if you want to flash a new rom ?
Mount the sdcard in recovery and copy the new rom to it.
Flash the boot.img from the new rom, make a full wipe in the custom recovery and install the new rom !
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The issue is all ROMs fail to copy all the files as the system partition looks to be damaged. I have been advised to flash the system.IMG to sort it out.

Get a nand backup in the general section. Look for the stock nandroid collection thread.

What happends when you format the system partition in the custom recovery ?
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Formating does wipe it but when the ROM tries to copy it just stop copying the files part way thought.

you mean copying while installation or from pc to sdcard? if while installation try to flash the stock recovery for your main-version and use the factory reset in bootloader...sometimes it seem to help...if that really doesnt help try another custom recovery and try again flashing a rom...but this time without formatting system and just flashing rom with full wipe ...but like i said without formatting system...if THAT doesnt work...then your device seems to have partition ´problems and only htc could solve it...had similiar issues ...phone went to repair center and what now? ...all except of screen was changed haha even i soldered wifi and they changed...so if nothing works reflash stock recovery and stock boot.img and relock and sent it to them and write on a paper or so you tried to update the phone via official ota but now phones doesn't work anymore...or so don't know
or try to transfer the rom again to sdcard could be a problem with it
And keep it there the next time
