Hey all,
I was just wondering what the best aosp kernel is for this device? I don't like tw much so I'm running Carbon. Are there any custom kernels that support aosp?
Thanks!

I think miui uses the cyanogen kernel so I don't see why not.

If you use just about any AOSP rom other than the puer Google Experience version, yes. It's baked into most AOSP ROMs.
If you use certain custom TW roms there is a 3minit theme option.
If you are using the stock TW rom....no. But you can use the XPOsed framework to give yourself access to some options for changing UI
Thanks buddy for your response. I'm using gummy ROM 4.4 but I can't find the themes options

It MAY not be in all 4.4 roms yet.
Remember they are brand new. A lot of tweaks having been merged yet.

Ditto. I've tried CF-Auto Root, SafeRoot and neither one puts a dent in it...
I have the AT&T S4 having the same issues as well I just found this thread, planning on trying it out tomorrow. It should link to the T-mobile version.
