It's about time. Can't believe it took them so long to update.
Anyway to use this with Cox cable? I don't live in an area with Verizon Fios or Time Warner.

What is your phone progression?

What has been your phone history/progression?
Mine runs like this: a combination of Nokia phones(you know the ones,lol), followed by Sony and LG phones on Cingular, Bell South, AT&T, and Verizon.. then I went to smart phones and started with the Blackberry Bold(VZW), and moved on to Optimus S(SPR), EVO Shift 4G(SPR), Epic 4G Touch(SPR), Samsung Galaxy S3(SPR).
Never had nor ever will have an iOS phone. I miss the Blackberry email and keyboard but am 100% Android user now.. Just love the flexibility of the OS.
When I got the S3 I was torn between it, the Quantum 4GLTE, Galaxy Nexus and the EVO LTE. Very happy with my choice at the moment (except for lacking 4G connection while waiting on LTE to roll out)
mine went something like a few dumb flip phones then a blackberry curve, palm pixi, HTC evo, Motorola photon, iPhone 4s for like 3 weeks then s2 and now my s3 with plans on picking up a note 2

Now I'm on Sprint: Galaxy S III Paranoid Android 2.+ *BRICKED* (ironic, aren't it?) -> Galaxy S III Stock ROM Unrooted
Sprint really needs to hurry up with the Jellybean update. One of my friends waited almost an entire month before her Epic 4g got the ICS upgrade...hoping for no deja vu here. But it IS Sprint we're talking about here.

[Q] Sprint -> Verizon

I am looking at buying a "Sprint" Galaxy Nexus and I want to use it with Verizon.
Will I have an issue with 4G if I do this?
Eventually I'm going to put Ubuntus image on it and want to make sure the hardware will work with Verizon totally so I can submit bugs and such.
Thanks
Not sure of the specs on both I know there are some differences in both. But I do know you gotta make it quick because unlocking phones will be illegal on this coming Sunday
Re: [Q] Sprint -> Verizon
No, it won't work. The hardware is different.

Re: [Q] Sprint -> Verizon
Why don't u just get a Verizon gnex and use it with Verizon.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
OK thanks for the information. I'll just stick with the Verizon model then.
I am going to use the Ubuntu OS coming out for them next month, and this is the prototype phone they will use.
Re: [Q] Sprint -> Verizon
Years back, verizon allowed sprint touch pros on their network, but now neither sprint nor verizon will allow any non carrier locked phone on their network. You'd have better luck getting Pepsi to put coke in their cans.

I just got Google Wallet working on my LG-E980. I'm running madmack's CM 10.2.
It's really simple. Go to the Google Play store and download "Market Helper" by JRummy Apps Inc. It's an addon for their "ROM Toolbox" app. There is nothing to run or do after install. Just go back to the google play store and download/install Google Wallet and it should work (did for me).
I downloaded it without that add on.

[Q] Using T-Zones with a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3

On Wednesday, I switched from my Google Playstore Galaxy Nexus to a TMobile branded Galaxy Note 3. I paid for the phone in full, so no need to upgrade my plan or anything. I have T-Zones and have been using it for years now with no issues. Today, I now have an internet paywall, and it is telling me to upgrade, yet it worked fine on T-Zones yesterday and the day before. Any ideas?
Has anyone else gotten T-Zones to work with their Note 3?

Galaxy Nexus wasn't detected so they thought you were on a "dumbphone" Might be able to get away with an international note 3... maybe but for sure any tmobile branded device you gotta upgrade that data plan.
Wow, T-Zones. Haven't heard that in a long while.
