Screen Touch Issue - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey hey hey,
okay so, i'm having my very first problem with my tab 3 10.1 gt-p5210.
at approximately 64 degrees farenheit the screen goes dead meaning no touch registers.
i experimented with holding icecubes and touch works normally, humidity doesn't seem to be a factor,
warming my fingertips with lighter doesn't work either, only when i walk in to house from screen porch
does screen responsiveness return and almost immediately. any thoughts?

LED Flash heats up to unconfortable levels!

Hey Folks,
I was using an app today called "instant heart rate", and i noticed that my LED flash get's uncomfortably warm when i touch it! I have used this app many times before with my older galaxy phones, and i never had any issues with a hot led, i could keep my finger on it as long as i wanted and it never got hot, only slightly warm. However with the optimus G, i noticed that within seconds the the LED get's scorching hot to the touch!
Has anyone else noticed this on your devices? If you turn on your camera flash, and you touch it with your finger firmly in place, does it get too hot to hold comfortably in place for more then 10 - 20 seconds?
I'm wondering if the glass design of the back is acting as a heatsink for the LED and what i'm feeling is the instant heat transfer from the LED, wheras with a plastic device like a galaxy phone, the heat is confined to the PCB and is not directly transmitted to the back cover.
Can you guy's check and report back. You can use any app, like torch, or camera. I only mentioned instant heart rate because the app requires you to touch the camera and flash for it to work.
Tried it, it is getting hot... to hot to hold it.
But then, It is a light...!
My one is ok. I mean it gets hot, but still i can touch it.
Mine gets pretty hot, but I can still touch it.
I accidentally left it running once for a few hours and nothing happened, it was still fine so looks like there's no need to worry.

Built in new screen in HTC 8S, touch problems

Hi,
I bought a screen assembly from here http://www.etradesupply.com/htc-8s-lcd-screen-and-digitizer-assembly-with-front-housing-blue.html
After building it in, which was not that easy, due to the massive amount of adhesive the phone booted
nicely and the display itself works flawlessly.
But something is wrong with the digitizer, it sometimes rotates swipes by 90° or stops mid-swipe.
Touch itself works 90% of the time, just sometimes it's off bei about half an inch in different directions.
Any ideas how to fix this, or is it a problem with the digitizer itself?
Thanks in advance

Galaxy tab s 8.4 t-700 lcd screen issues

Hi, maybe someone have encouter similar issue and have and could comfirm if there could be anything else i could do except replacing whole lcd+touch, which cost pretty much same as new unit
My my screen is showing some weird artefacts on screen, at first there is not much but its getting worse after few muniutes of use. If i lock and unlock the device i show white light bleed on left side of the screen (first picture) then if i lock again, wait for a while it disappears, but some artefacts and color pixel start to show on left side (second pic). After a while some strong white lines apear, always in the some spot, but if i put down the device for few minutes it desappers. Reattaching battery didn't help, i guess thats not the case. Could this be a faulty LCD connector? Or the screen is dying.. ? Definitly not a software bug, i just upgraded to 6.0 and even in bootloader mode while upgrading there were those two lines (last pic)
What screen brightNess do you use. It's recommended to use 20% to avoid screen burn in

Click to collapse
Hmm.. since i usually use the tablet in bright locations its probably set to higher then 50%, at least..
There is one more thing, after like 10 minutes of use, almost all the above issues stops, only thing that stays is the "burned like" vertical stripes, barely visible, on about 2/3 of the screen.
I does not make the table unusable but its quite annoying...
could this be affect of screen burn in ?
i think its just a bad screen from a begining cuz i have tab s 8.4 for almost 2 years now and i gave it to my brother for a year and he was in Tenerife...temperatures there are high so i doubt its a screen burn since my tablet is still ok even after one year at Tenerife with probably brightnes always on 100%...just sharing my xperiance cheers guys

Touchscreen dead zones

Warranty expired a long time ago. No visible screen damage (some chips on the sides), it was dropped a lot unfortunately.
One morning I woke up and my phone had a strip of 1cm dead touch screen at the top (it was partially under the pillow so there was some pressure involved, like everyday though). So I enabled landscape gyroscope transition mode and it turned out to just be a minor inconvenience.
But now it developed another issue (after another drop), earlier the top of the screen was completely dead no matter what. Now it has expanded downward by an additional 1cm but it's not exactly always dead and the bottom 3cm has also become semi-dead:
It can still work if I hold my finger in place for a few seconds, and it seems to work perfectly fine so long as the touch originates from elsewhere on the screen - it tracks perfectly if I lead it into the semi-dead touch zone. I do not know enough to even guess how that happens, initial touch detection differs from touch tracking?
I do not know enough about touch screen technology to know why this is happening and what it means, I do not want to buy another phone - I have considered just buying another G3 and performing a motherboard transplant but I thought I should ask here first about this. Can it be fixed by me with an easier method?

Increase touch screen sensitivity

I recently changed my screen touch because it was broken
And now screen is much less sensitive ...I have to tab some times to select something
But for some reason screen works perfect on cold surroundings (like in winter season or while sitting in an a/c room ...yea it again stops responding if it gets heated up a bit after some time heavy use ...I got the idea of increasing sensitivity from this threadhttps://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/u-development/fix-increase-touch-screen-sensitivity-t2608102
Please help me
Thank you
