Can anyone give me a link for the working Service.jar for XMS 4.3 ? Because i have tried others and I got boot looped .

2) Are you odexed or deodexed?

Looking for Superuser mod version because some third-party themes dont work properly .
I've attached the SUPERUSERMOD version of the services.jar file I am using on my device. Either just copy the file to your phone through a root browser or push it using adb. There is no need to rename it as it is the correct name.

why not downloading a odexed stock rom and extract the apps?

The stock rom should be a .zip file...so just unzip, and search for the proper apk.

if youre rooted, go to system/apps/( you shouldn't have .odex files here)

Why not just use a pre deodexed rom ? Most custom roms are. If you want stock rom try the one by i9000. It is deodexed and zip aligned and has busy box as well plus it can be directly flashed with odin.

Im still new to the n7100 my preveious was an i717 so im still trying to learn wich firm wares are compatable for this new device i looked at the ones you have mentioned but dont know what one is compatible with my device

I wanted to theme my r800x stock rom but I was reading about it and it says you have to deodex it first. Is it possible to do that from the phone and can someone link me to a good guide for themeing and for deodexing? I know how to do it with a flashable zip but I don't have one for stock rom. So if somebody knows how to turn nandroid backups into flashable zips or has a guide on how to do so please share. Thank you.

Try a stock based ROM like cola or gbtweaked those were costimized ROMs and well if those don't suit you then try cm7 as that's got full theming support

1. All sony stock roms are deodex.
2. Backup format is yaffs, and your backups are stored on sdcard/clockworkmod/backup.
3. You can extract those with programs like Yaffey, Flashtool and even with android apps.
4. You can make a zip from that.
Theming
1. Get an app that can decompile I reccomend Apk Multi Tools or APKTOOL
2. Extract your framework-res and get table codes.
Apk Multi Tools can do it with Adb automatically.
In APKTOOL it goes apktool if framework-res.apk
3.Decompile apk
Apktool d framework-res.apk
4.Make image changes.
5. Recompile then push with adb.

How to install
Download the Deodex_10.5.A.0.230.zip and save it on SDCARD
Reboot device into recovery
Flash the Deodex_10.5.A.0.230.zip
Wipe dalvik cache
Reboot to system
Enjoy!
Download Deodex_10.5.A.0.230.zip (391,5 МB)
It is not ROM, it is DEODEX for ROM.
This package deodex (convert) odex-files to deodex-files in folders /system/app, /system/framework, and /system/priv-app and so some of the mod/theme you will need to install again.
