After using the stock 4.4.3 for a while, i decided to switch back to paranoid. The problem is after flashing it, i couldn't update or download apps like google service, play books, play music and twitter. i have tried going back stock, factory reset, removing google account, wiping data and cache from play store without any success. anybody ever experienced this? the download would be stuck on downloading and eventually led to a 495 error. i have also tried different google account.
anyone?

I would verify the MD5 and make sure the download is not corrupted.

Hello there.. I'm having trouble with this app since I rooted my phone and unlock the bootloader in android 4.1.1 yakjuxw, after that I couldn't connect anymore to this and line neither I can't play games online neither.. I can also use Chrome and enter any site, Facebook app works fine and the others common apps too. I though I could solve this problem by unrooting and locking the phone but I was the same.. After that I tried something else I changed my yakjuxw to yakju and update through 4.2.2 the phone was like new from factory, it also erased the cwm I installed but I still have the same problem.. I will appreciate any help, thanks for your attention..
I also reinstall the app several times from the play store and from the page, erase the data and cache but is the same..

Are you seeing any specific error? Also install an older APK and see if it works.
No specific error, just this issues with the Internet.. I already tried whit an older version but it says that I have to download the latest version from the market to connect

the application don't run on both mobile data and under WI FI? You can look in the settings the expiration date of the account / service?

I don't have wi fi at home, that's the only thing I didn't do yet but I'll try that as soon as possible.. And how can I see the expiration date if I can't get into the app?

The thing is that I haven't registered the account of whatsapp in my phone yet, that's what I'm trying to do, when I enter whatsapp it says "connecting.. After a few seconds says: impossible connect. Please verify that you are connected to Internet and try again.
Please reboot your phone if you keep having this problem of connection.

As soon as you can try to register your phone number below WI fi ... could be your service provider that blocks chat services (remote option I think), or mobile Internet apn are set incorrectly. Since the application does not crash the problem with the connection itself.
firewall or killer app can also cause problems.

I don't have any firewall or killer app installed.. I just wish to know if all those things that I did first didn't damage or modify some important file inside, is it possible? Even after update it could stay modified?

My concern is not only for whatsapp is also by an online game called arcane legends, before I do anything that I explained I could connect to the game even if my Internet was very slow but now I just can't join or download the patches which is very rare because I can download things through chrome. That's why I'm thinking that maybe some inside file is damage or modify, I'm getting desperate with this, I don't know what else to do..

It should not ... in extremis, if you think your mobile connection is properly configured and is not be another possibility download a stock yakju ROM from Google and re flash ... but first I would try under Wi-Fi if you download and run normally app .
From Gnex with Tapatalk 2
When I changed the phone from yakjuxw to yakju I got the update by ota, isn't it a stock version?

R: Whatsapp problem
when you have changed I guess you have a complete picture flashed yakju ... having the stock recovery you came the OTA update but are generally the same update partial. the rom you go to download from Google and the complete system is to completely rewrite the previous placing any anomalies. Keep in mind that everything will be deleted ... Read, if you have not too familiar, the guides:

Okay so first things first:stock rom stock everything
What I've tried before asking for help
1. Tried re-downloading said apps (multiple apps)
2.uninstall-reinstall
3.clear playstore information
4.opera normal is the only one of a couple that are giving this error that I care about. Tried using other versions of opera that have never been installed before on this device or downloaded from my playstore account, they work perfectly fine. Its just the one version that just happens to be (what's in my opinion) the best.
Havent tried a factory reset, this happened after I synced/updated with kies and added a whole bunch of music on my standard 16gb sd card....had to move it from my phone storage because it caused problems
My question is obviously how do I fix this?
As a part 2 to that question how do I figure out where my phone is default installing apps? It should be the phone storage not the sd card right?
EDIT/UPDATE: FIREFOX GIVES SAME ERRORS

Or you could roll back to a previous version of the PlayStore by uninstalling the current one.
That worked in a number of cases.
I had the same problem and I had to do the following:
1. Cleared the cache and data from: Google play store, Google Play services, and Google Services Framework
2. If under the Google play store there is a button to uninstall updates do that as well.
3. Reboot into recovery and clear cache and the davik cache
I then rebooted and I was fine. Have not seen the problem since
So I bought this nexus 7 tablet and returned it and bought it again using the office max 20% coupon deal. They did a factory reset because i wanted the 32gb model but when I went to the back they didn't have it. So I just ended doing the price match on the current one I had. When I logged in using my Google account and tried downloading apps it gave me some weird 427 or 920 error codes. I did my research and cleared caches and deleted data for play store, services framework and Google play services. Nothing seems to work, I tried many different methods clearing data/caches on them but no luck. Someone please help its really annoying. On my phone everything downloads fine.

If you are from Balkan Area/Kosovo, it is a random issue. Play Stor is not working properly in Kosovo. for what reason I do not know. I asked internet providers and they have no clue about it.
However try VPN Hotspot Shield, it helped me to solve the problem.
After i revert back to stock rom with RUU, i have successfully updated my Htc One X to 4.2.2 with Sense 5
I had the same issue after the update Cant Access/download anything from Google Store
Here is what i did
* I did a Factory Reset and Re-entered my Gmail account.
Then it worked fine
But now i am left with an unstable wifi signal. im just in my room and it said "not in range"
Note that my room is not far from the modem router.
Do you have this problem also?
Sorry for drifting the topic.
Hope my " Fix" will work for you @psicop
