Hello guys...
I have one question. My 2010 Passat CC has a bluetooth carkit incorporated. But unfortunately it uses the rSAP bluetooth connection. So...for this phone, is there a custom ROM that supports this type of connection? Stock .681 for sure doesn`t support because i`ve tested today. I don`t want to change my phone so I`m looking for a custom rom that has support for rSAP.

This is my first post in this incredible forum. Need to know whether the the Jabra BT 800 supports the Imate Universal A2DP Profile.

A2DP does not work on this device. i cant even get the caller names to showup on my exec. Apprantley to get this working u need a profile called remote sim access
Other question:
how should a device which only has one speaker support stereo sound?

You might want to try this http://www.jetwaremobile.com/index.htm it worked for me on the Jasjar and a SE Akono HBH-660.

I got lot's ROM to try, but according to the introduction, seems like none of them support Bluetooth SPP protocol which is enabled after Android 2.0. Anyone can give a hint about which ROM potentially support this or must I wait for official release?

Vanillain can support BT
but other like camera,gallery... seem buggy

I know it supports BT audio, but seems like it doesn't support file push and SPP communication, at least it fails last time I tried it. Not sure if it's my operation error though
Anybody get success on BT communication by Villain?
Not sure what SPP protocol is, but in Vilian 2.1 I have no problem sending or recieving files with my laptop, connecting with my Satnav to get hands free, or connecting with my BT earpiece for calls.

Im Using a Car-Radio with Bluetooth as Hands-Free Device. Everything works fine so far. I can acces the SIM-Phonebook on my TP2 directly from the Radio etc.. Wenn I get an call, the Number of the calling Person is shown in the Radiodisplay, but not the Name of the Person.
With my older Ameo the Name was shown in the Radio Display too, so im searching for a Posibility to activate this funktion in my TP2.
Does anyone know how to get the Name transfered to the Radio?

probably you need to update your radio
i had the same problem with my parrot carkit
when you connect it with your laptop via bluetooth you can update a parrot
probably you can get a software update from the site of your radio developer
I would like to know if you can give the "ppp_async.ko"?
I explain you, I have a VW BT car kit, I use a RSAP app to synchronize my phone and BT car kit. I would like to use VW car kit integrated modem to have Internet on my phone.
Rsap app developper, build a plugin (DUN) to activate this functionnality but the ppp_async.ko file is necessary in several case.
Could you help me?

OK greetings to all that may see this thread. I have used these forums in the past with great success so here goes. I presently have a HTC desire that has been rooted and flashed with Cyanogen Mod 7.1.0 Desire. I chose this rom to get my phone to work in BT mode with my oldish Becker Cascade 7411 head unit and it works really well.
I have now ordered a HTC OneX from my provider Rogers here in Canada. My question is there a Rom outhere that installs new bluetooth stack that supports HFP 1.0? If someone could point me in the right direction that would really help or perhaps they can confirm that there is no way I will be able to make my OneX function with a BT HFP 1.0 protocol.
