I'm having some trouble at that step:
- Device: select your phone model, e.g. 'c2004' for Xperia M dual (see 'Settings' > 'About phone' > 'Model number').
I'm trying to create and FTF file on flashtool 0.9.24.4 but after decrypting files, bundle create don't load anything on device selectors name list. I already uninstalled and reinstalled flashtool and the issue persists... After double click on it, the device selector poupup that shows is all blank.
How can I fix it?
Any ideas are welcome!

In this stage, my "folder list" box is empty. (I have 4 "FILE_..."s, and I hit Convert, but folder list remains empty.)
What can be done to solve this problem?

Yes, it won't be available because sony has removed it from their server. The best you can do is search here if anyone has put up their ftf links and then Download and install it.

Make sure you are using the ftf you have removed the loader.sin from, you should know what one it is as loader.sin will not show up in the contents box when you are selecting the file to flash.
Make sure to save the contents of the archive too. And it will have nothing to do with multiple ftf files so long as they relate to different firmwares.
start flashing process without connecting the usb
cable to the phone after some time it asks to
connect the phone then connect usb to phone
holding vol button
is your ftf is generic or not?
I've installed all drivers via Flashtool-drivers.exe (The device is reachable via fastboot and adb), running Windows 10.
I've unlocked the bootloader.
I've changed the devices mode to MSC and enabled USB-Debugging before trying to flash the firmware.
I've downloaded LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_Generic Global World.ftf, but no matter what I do I get the same error:

You got an error because of latest version of flashtool.
Use only flashtool

Buddy download stock firmware that works with your device(c1904) and I have heard that newley flashtool have some bugs most of the peoples found it difficult to use due to error so download a old version of flashtool.
Here is the link for flashtool that I use
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3WS5xjTt_0tQTZzQmNiZFc0R2M/view?pref=2&pli=1
It works smooth and don't forget to install drivers for xperia M found in C:/Flashtool/drivers after unpacking flashtool
Please search all thread and then ask question
i use the correct FTF for the C1904 and use flashtool 0.9.18.1 not function for me.. and have the correct drivers..

You're welcome
I try to flash another stock ROM on my SO-05K . The boot can not be unlockt. I tried 5 pc. ADB drivers, one of them worked on my H8324.
Every time is "adb devices" empty. Flasher is seeing the driver but not the device.
Please has someone a driver that will working?
Use the one provided by device's manufacturer. Use the USB-cable that came with the device.

I used sa0118adb driver from https://developer.sony.com/develop/drivers/, original (unused) cable connected on USB3. On the xz2 compact is lightning green light.
CMD:
\platform-tools>adb devices
List of devices attached
\platform-tools>adb reboot bootloader
error: no devices/emulators found
