Hi.
So, today I have met with start-up problem. During the normal using my phone, everything had been suspended, so I pulled out the batterry. And my phone hadn't been managed to start again. Only what I can see is the animation of evervol (I have had this kind of rom for about a year - old version of it :/ ). I tried booting by pressing dwn vol but, and power button in the same time...BUT... I know that I have the damaged vol button (only up vol but is working)... so it couldn't have worked anyway...
Do you have any ideas, how I can force on him to enter the boot menu or to start normally? From some kind of computer programme or what??
I really dont want to lose anythink from him... but if it will be necessary I would have no more objections against...
Press and hold back button + power and that will boot u into fastboot then u can get into recovery from there.

More details about your hardware/software please.
Can your access hboot (start it with pressed volume down and power button) or fastboot (start it with pressed back and power button).
yes but no volume buttons work or the power button and it boots into the menu from start up
Without more details about hardware/software nobody will be about able to help you.

It never worked me before Official GB Release.. I had to pull out battery everytime.. But now it looks easy..
Today I was messing with Phone root files and deleted system file and suddenly fell into a Focre Close message loop which was not ending... and at other time, My Desire hanged and was not responding...
Press in sequence Optical Trackpad button + Volume Down + Power Button..
The phone vibrates and then reboots fully...
But I couldnt manage to let it enter recovery... Maybe some trick you guys might know may allow it...
Let me know if it worked for u...

Or you can disable fastboot in menu->settings->energy->disable fastboot. So you can fully turn of your phone and boot in recovery

Hi guys i need help. i flash a cm10 kernel but im on a sense rom. of course it wont boot so i normally hold down the power button. but this time it wont reboot! help!:crying::crying:
EDIT:bootloop now but holding power button also doesnt work
Hi. Try connecting the phone to the PC while it is in bootloop. Normally it will be detected by adb before it completely boots. Then you can do an adb reboot recovery.
connect phone to pc
type adb reboot bootloader

Volume up? Why did you use volume up instead of volume down to go to bootloader?

Hold Vol-down and then press Power button while Vol-down is still pressed. You may release Vol-down button a bit later (even when you will see HBoot screen).
It may be required to repeat the same steps if Volume button is not working well. This really happens when a phone is heavily used.

Just keep trying... One lucky day you will succeed.
Hey,
I've managed to balls up my phone, think I used a backup that didn't work properly.
I've basically got this issue:
I can't post the video that shows this issue exactly but on youtube the title is
"HTC ONE M8 (International Version) Black Screen | Vibrating by holding the Powerbutton"

I can't get into recovery mode by using Power + VolDown or using the AIO program.
The phone does show up in Device Manager but not in fastboot commands or in Windows Explorer.
What're my options from this point?
UPDATE:
It randomly turned on and now it's stuck on the 'htc ONE' screen and not turning off/on.

If I hold the Power + VolUp down it does restart, but then goes to black (it looks like the screen is on but displaying nothing) and then nothing.
Would a USB download jig work for an HTC? If so then they are cheap and available on the web. Easy to build too.
