if u want to have a TWRP on the other rom, just flash the rom and flash the omni kernel........
This is the best solution but i tried it with kernel from omni 4.3 to cm 10.2 and wifi was not working.

You also need to copy the wifi modules, just like i8160P owners do for the baseband (why aren't they directly compiled in anyway?)
...and this trick still doesn't address trying to compile a kernel with TWRP at home
Do you know where are wifi modules? I don't find them at system/lib/modules.
For now i use omni 4.4.3 but probably it has the same structure with 4.3

you need to copy all the files in the modules.....

Ok, I flashed [UNOFFICIAL][4.4] CyanogenMod 11.0 + W03Tweaks [Nightly-ish] successfully but now I am not able to find multiwindow on this custom ROM.
Can, anyone confirmed that it is missing in this ROM or it just for me.
TIA.

Most roms dont. I think its just things based off of TouchWizz then a few scattered around like Omni rom/Miui
It's called Split view. You hold down home button to recent apps then hold down on app you want to add to split view. However, I can not speak on the ROM you have installed and if this feature is built into the ROM.
So, any suggestion for kit kat custom ROM?

This is probably the best bet. Make sure you get the multiwindow build though. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2493772
Dear friends,
I have flashed resurrection remix 5 on my N7100.But i have battery drain and Bluetooth earphone connection problems. Can i fix theese by installing original kernel on this custom rom?may them work togehter without any problems? Thanks.
I don't think so... since RRemix is not sammy based but AOKP/AOSP... so you will need to find another custom kernel.

i dont have these issues with RR..!!
IF u want 100% stability try a touchwiz based rom.. That is your best bet..!!
Omni rom if you want to try a kitkat rom..!
I always use agni kernel..!

I flashed Omnirom 4.4 Kitkat.Everything is ok exept bluetooth. There is a adaptation problem. And when i try to call or answer a call, phone freezes and i have to reboot it.So can i fix the problem by flashing AGNI kernel?I think it has two versions as Pure Stock and Pure CM.What is the difference between them, and which one do you advice me to flash?

of course Pure CM.. Agni Pure Stock is for Stock based touchwiz ROM..
if problem still there, then maybe its a bug from the ROM itself..
Hi, today I updated PAC ROM 4.3 from faust93 but then after error 7 on update process I realized it was upgraded to 4.4 then I installed TWRP 2.6 and it worked nice altough its alfa and lost functions.
The mainly problem is that the old kernel from faust93 doesnt work (original kernel has terrible governors expending a lot of battery) and I can see that on http://xep.8800.org/e957/ there is a lot of different versions from his kernel, does someone know if one of them is compatible with PAC ROM 4.4 ?
I would send it on the Pac Rom thread but xda restrictions don't let me do it and developer did not warn about upgrade to 4.4 so I dont know if he would answer
Thanks

check android development, the faust 93 kernel.
For Officials ROM use F93 kernel gproj 2.2
For Unofficials ROM use F93 kernel AOSP 0.5

Thank you, I didnt realize there was a thread for his kernel :silly:
Can anyone tell me which kk custom rom is best, stable and bug free ?
Try them until you find one you like.. If stability is your main concern though, a touchwiz kk ROM would be a better choice

So far i've tried CRom and PacRom, both has their share of problems with camera FCs and bluetooth not being able to find other devices.
Im running SlimRom 7.0 and I have yet to find a problem with it.
Anyone running the CM 12.1 Nightly builds? It's been running great for me but want to know if there is a way to install Xposed and Agni kernel? I've tried flashing a couple times but not sure if I have the right files since it just boot loops afterwards.

I'm not sure any of those are compatible with cm 12 though if I'm wrong someone please correct me, but agni is based of stock touchwiz kernel with heavy modification or built to run on TW anyway and xposed is for customizing themed roms such as touchwiz and so fourth. Just my understanding but again I said I could be wrong.

I found this Agni kernel for CM and N7100
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231374&nocache=1
And have seen threads of Xposed working with SDK22 that CM12.1 uses but couldn't get anything to flash right. Just want to increase charging rate with kernel and use some Xposed modules with CM 12.1 nighties.
Do you have a N7100 or a T889?
From developer himself....... works on N7100
I have T889 running N7105 CM 12.1 and hoped there might be another kernel that would allow tweaks.
No offense but you can put an orange peel on an apple but it's still an apple. Lol sorry, seriously though I'm not sure if it's a slight hardware difference or if its the T889 bootloader but sure sounds like something isn't compatible

I thought I could use N7105 kernels with T889. I found these AGNI kernels for CM12+ but they won't boot after I flash them with TWRP:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=2506#downloads
EDIT: I figured out I needed to flash smdk4x12 for Exynos and now it's working! Just have to find a way to get Xposed working
