Hello everyone,
I'm still newbie with HTC-Sense, Usually all my themes/mods are build from pure android.
But in HTC, Whatever changes i did in SystemUI and after successfully flash the modified one using flashable zip, Nothing is actually changed!
What i know is SystemUI.apk in Vanilla Android goes under System folder and in Sense under Priv-app folder.
So my question is, is there are another Sense-SysytemUI related hiding somewhere? Or i need a special/extra permission in updater-script?
Thanks guys,

I believe recent apps is part of the sense launcher, maybe you find more luck in the prism.apk !

I dont know if this is possible to make custom skins that we could choose with the skin chooser? Im thinking no but its worth a shot to ask right

Yeah, i was wondering about that too. As all themes this as well could be created. Question is, where you need to put the file. Guess it must be stored in an accessible dir somewhere. Injecting a new theme there should work i guess.

The ones from the above thread?
They work apparently (thread title).
Just install the .apk you downloaded.
You need flashing for the framework mod, rooted device, it tells in the instructions, if i read it right

I stand corrected. I thought he meant the skins for Sense thing.
You could install the frameworks without root though, by using wpthis.ko
(I think it's .ko)
Just run it, then adb push the framework to /system/framework.
You may need temp-root for this.
But of course, temp-root ain't perm-root
I figured it out. You have to add the framework into a flashable .zip - if anyone would like any of the status bars, let me know and ill upload the .zip's

The frameworks don't change the colour of the statusbar background, just the icon colours and what they look like.

You can check out the link posted earlier in the thread to download the .apk's containing skins. In order to get different status bar icons, you'll need to flash a new framework file via .zip in recovery. The frameworks can be applied to any skin you wish.
I'm currently using the Froyo status bar and am loving it. The best part is having the actual battery percentage overlaying the battery icon. I've uploaded the flashable .zip for this one if you'd like to give it a try. Just install via recovery (dont forget to make a backup if you want to restore to default).

I know,i know,it's understood from the beginning.
Maybe Franzyroy would help or take time to help you on this, at least show you globally what files could be involved and after this explore HotMyKeul rom or Helly that has Devil kernel apps in settings to check what changes are made.
Wish you success I keep thinking of it if i see any info that could help.

Hi guys this is my first post here in xda!
I'm here to ask a thing:
When i unboxed my XPERIA PLAY I and turned it on i looked to the black status bar on the phone framework and looked to the box framework that was more beauty and was blue with white icons.
Can someone tell me if its possible to get the original blue framework like the image i have posted above, thanks in advanced, and sorry my English :S.
The photo of the box us edited with the computer. The statusbar looks on every xperia play that is on stock "ugly".
You must be rooted and edit the systemui.apk to get this

Thanks.
Which theme did u use?? I think its a theme effect. Try changing it to blue.

It's not a theme effect, it's actually older amdtroid version. I remembered my friend's X10 android 2.1 stock has this battery style.

You'll need to modify the battery icons inside framework-res.apk then push it back into system. Maybe you can ask someone to theme it for you

One more thing, do a nandroid backup before you modify. And make it a flashable zip and flash it via CWM.

understand, thank you for your help anyway
Those icons are controlled in the app itself. Example
The powermanagement icon is not changed in the settings, you need to edit the powermanagement.apk file to see a changed icon in the settings menu.
There are also icons that are controlled in the com.HTC.resources.apk, you can't decompile it but you can open the apk with 7zip and copy out the icons, edit them and copy them back in the apk.
Same is for framework.HTC.res.apk !
And make sure you do not touch the .9.png files. It srews up the apk !!!
Exactly, the problem was in com htc res apk , i change some icons and now everything is working correctly
