Whether I try to turn my phone on or boot into recovery mode I get a strange bootloop. It goes between the Samsung Galaxy Note2 logo and the custom recovery in this case clockwork mod recovery screens. Never saw this before and Google isn't helping. If anyone knows what's going on any help is appreciated because as of now my phone is completely unusable.
I already tried switching custom recovery via Odin but the same thing happens it bootloops between the Samsung Galaxy Note2 logo and the new custom recovery start up screen. Really weird.
I am able to get into download mode.
Again any advice would be greatly apprecaited
Update: Attempted to Odin back to stock ROM and according to Odin it passed but now stuck in stock bootloop and still unable to get into recovery mode

I was running the Leaked Jelly Bean build and then flashed back to CM10 (using nandroid backup) and nothing would load, so I made a USB jig and got the phone into download mode. I re-flashed all the stock software through odin, everything went fine, but then the phone gets stuck on the samsung logo, after the sprint splash screen. Any ideas on what I can try? The phone wont boot into recovery or download mode without the USB jig.
EDIT: Looking into trying this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840030
I need the Sprint Boot chains, anyone have links?
I have a Sprint GS3 with CWM 10.2.1 nightly that was installed
I was at work today when I noticed the phone restart and come back up to the boot screen, it stayed there for a good 5 minutes so I tried restarting it, same thing happened
I am able to get into download mode and CWM recovery mode
I put the phone in download mode and flashed the stock ROM via Odin. Odin showed PASS, but the phone had multiple errors in a wall of red text. Most were ERROR mounting
Now it boots into the Samsung logo and freezes there. Is there a way to fix this?
Hey guys,
I have a Galaxy S3 AT&T that I was attempting to unroot via Odin 3, and am now currently stuck in a good bootloader loop. I have done my fair share of searching and research before starting this thread, and my problem seems to be unique. Or very bad.
I tried flashing the stock image/unroot file via Odin, it black screened and have a blue LED light on. Cannot access recovery, so I tried flashing a new recovery through Odin as well. (I made sure it was the correct device model and build, which is IMM76D ALG1.) Still nothing. Tried the same thing through download mode, rebooted, nothing. Battery pull, tried the same thing as before, and now I can't access my download mode.
So basically I'm stuck in a boot loop, with no access to recovery mode or download mode. Do I have a new fancy paperweight for my desk or is there a way out of this? Any help would be appreciated greatly, I'm pretty desperate right about now.
Hi XDA Forums,
I have a problem with my Note 2 for some reason.
Let me explain you what is wrong with my Note 2
I was sitting down and watching a movie, my phone was right next to me, The phone randomly turned off and after couple of second it had turned back on. It had showed the first every screen when you turn it on "Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100". Now from there it keeps on looping the same screen over and over again.
I had done some research before opening this thread, I saw that some people said I should try factory resetting it from the recovery mode, I then tried going on the recovery mode, it was not successful, it had showed me the same "Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100" screen and then repeated to boot loop it self again, I tried going on the recovery a couple of times but it didn't let me go on it.
Next I had then downloaded the 4.1.2 Official Firmware from SamMobile to flash it to stock again, I had then tried going on the Download Mode, It goes to the screen for Download Mode, but when I try pressing up to continue from the warning message it had then rebooted it itself and made it self stuck on the screen again.
Basically, my phone is stuck on boot loop, It does not let me access the recovery mode and it also does not let me access download mode.
ROM Using: Tigra_RomV3 4.3 Based ROM
Kernel Used: The Kernel which comes with the ROM or Stock, I didn't change the kernel myself.
If there is a internal problem does that mean I wont get help from the Warranty because the phone was rooted?
hello,
just try to use the jig, it should work...
use it so your phone will be in download mode, then flash your rom
Do you NANDROID backup? Maybe you may restore it by custom recovery.
Second, remove the battery first for a while and retry to access the RECOVERY and DOWNLOAD mode. If not, try the suggestion up there.
Hi xda developers,
so what happend is I updated CM to the most recent release, couldn't access TWRP recovery mode anymore for some reason, then tried to flash the newest TWRP release (3.0.2.0) via Flashify. After that I was stuck on boot at the Samsung logo, but could still access download mode (but not recovery mode). After some unsuccessful flashing attempts via Odin and Kies I'm stuck on the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue" screen, any button combo goes directly to this screen. I came to the realization that I don't know what the **** I'm doing and have probably destroyed my phone.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
