[Launcher] Apex Issue

I am using Apex Launcher on Omega ROM 9.1 and I have an issue where when I swipe from screen to screen I get a dark shadow appear under my widgets, they disappear when I stop swiping.
I was told that this is an issue with Jelly bean but I do not get this when I use Cyanogenmod CM10 Jelly Bean. I have looked for an answer in lots of forums and have found nothing, can anyone help, I would like to stick with Omega but while this issue exists Im using CM10.

You mean omega 19.1? Apex and nova has some problems with sammy jb roms, so it's known problem, just wait that samsung fix it.

As I said In my first post, I do not get the issue with CM10 Jelly Bean so I don't think its a problem with Samsung. I switch between backups of Omega and CM10 and only find the problem in Omega.

This is known problem with all samsung jelly bean builds, you can find many reports on many custom sammy jb threads, and with cm10 it works fine. Sammy roms uses samsungs own modified framework, and bug may be there.
You need to wait that samsung fix it or those launcher devs make their launchers compatible with samsung jelly bean.
Edit: it may be compatibility issue with hwcomposer too, and maybe it's fixed in aosp/cm10 but not in samsungs hwcomposer, not sure because i'm not dev. But everyone who using apex or nova with samsung jb, has that issue, so you can't do anything but wait that it's get fixed.

Hooo, ic ic. I was wondering about this cos I've tried holo, apex, and nova, and the black shadow always appear when swiping from screen to screen. Did some searching and found this thread. Strangely enough, there's no such kind of issue on go launcher, which i'm using rite now.

It is not a problem of Sammy's JB builds, it was a problem with Apex and Nova apps..they have fixed it in their latest update..
Update to the latest version you will not get the Shadow Bug.

Try the latest beta update of Apex..go into apex settings..update and choose beta from the options..

I know nova latest fixed it, but how you know the apex is fixed?I see the change log doesn't tell anything on it.

Well I just tried apex-the beta updates-and the dark shadow is still there. Here's some screenshot of that (apex beta update, dark shadowy thingie, and how the widget should look normally).

In the latest JB build (LJ1), Samsung made a tweak on their end to fix the problem. Apex has no shadow bug on LJ1.

Hmm, I'm still on LIB, perhaps that's why those dark thingie appeared. But, now I'm using the latest nova, the dark shadow is no longer there. Perhaps I'll stick with it for a while.

Yes there's no "perhaps" about it - on version LIB, Apex has the shadow bug and the latest version of Nova does not. LJ1 fixes Apex and older versions of Nova.

Using apex pro launcher and not having any issues. Wondering what's all this about.

Hey guys, I think you know I'm Jelly Sandwich developer. Does anyone have idea how to fix acore process force close after uninstalling apps? I have noticed that this bug appeared after removing some apps from system/app.
FAST HELP NEEDED!
If you help me with this, JS 6.0 STABLE will arrive to your smartphones even TODAY.

Try asking thilinac, kormatoes or emman ! They can certainly guide u ! I remember pureness also had the same issue ask thilinac how did he fix it !

Yes, It's because of the xperia s phonebook.apk. Just use the original phonebook.apk from .587. I think everything will be fine.

Works for my T999L on CM10.1 Nightly, except HDR, and it is not stable (it locked up and I had to reboot). Going to keep playing with it, wish I could find a user guide for it, but I guess it hasn't be made yet.
EDIT: Front-Facing Mode causes reboot, Panorama Mode causes FC, HDR & PicSphere will not compile. Also any error and the phone has to be rebooted for it to see the camera again.

Yeah sorry guys doesn't look like it works on Twiz. AOSP based ROMs only.

i've been running probam since released in the international note 3 thread. we can flash almost any rom from note 3 as long as you know what you are doing. i've ran verizon, sprint tmobile etc on my canadian note 3 no problem :good:

I remember those Frankenstein builds. They were really good too. I really liked those as well, but I don't know enough to maintain builds (working on it though). I would have taken over those back in the day. The Dev that maintained it for the spring s2 moved on.

Oh and the dead is reincarnated. The Frankenstein lives. Made me smile when I ran their build today but it was uploaded January 2nd and still had camera and two other apps fc'ing. I'm sure their next update should be daily driver worthy.

Advantages of CM12.1 and Disadvantages of AOSP 5.1
1) Customizations and settings for everything - Very less customizations in AOSP. (e.g Battery percentage, backlight duration, status bar settings, inbuilt root support, clear all in recent apps`, force 3g, and many many more)
2) Themes - No theme support in AOSP.
3) Ongoing support and updates by developer. - Very infrequent updates in AOSP and possible stop in future once CM12.1 is out.
4) Screencasting working flawlessly on chromecast - Does not work in AOSP.
Disadvantages of CM12 and advantages of AOSP 5.1
1) Laggy beyond your patience in cm - AOSP too smooth even after installing tonnes of apps.
2) Poor battery life in cm - AOSP noticeable better battery life.
3) Laggy dialer in cm - Super Smooth Dialer in AOSP.
4) Apps keep reloading even if you have opened them before some time. - No such issues in AOSP.
5) The famous memory leak bug of 5.0.2 in cm - AOSP has this fixed.
So it depends on you , which you want to use

No.i downloaded it from play store.cyanogen gallery is the name..gallery of aosp is same

Another one official rom for galaxy grand i9082

A new upcoming rom (lollipop) from Team Glade (JackEagle , K2WL and some other dev)
I tried the first nightly and that wos working great for a test.
the second Glade-v1.0-i9082-OFFCIAL-20150304-0115.zip wassn't stable and gave allot of fc
