Is there any way to get HTC One M8 Stock Camera on HTC One M8 Google Play Edition?
Thank you.
If u wanna use gpe camera app u gotta convert to gpe using gpe roms but i think htc camera app offers better experience!
Not going to happen. He's talking about the sense camera.

Duo camera works on GPe buddy, just by using the stock Google camera app
The OP is asking is they can use the Sense camera app with a GPe ROM, and the answer is no otherwise it's not a Google Experience any more

I am on /dev/null ROM & this is one feature that I sorely miss in non-Sense ROMs. Is there any application in the market for this functionality?

Never mind what i've said earlyer .
Getting to the subject, ftom what i know , just Sony Erricsson has that option of timestamping the time and date

Even HTC does; since I am not using their stuff, I am missing on that functionality.
I haven't seen timestamping on htc ..

Are there any roms (Google edition, aosp, cm based) that allows you to use or has the ir blaster built in to use for things like HTC TV?

UnSense has HTC TV. HTC TV needs Sense framework. There's an app called Smart IR Remote that you can use though.

I tried that, and it automatically had me download HTC Services (or something like that), but the remote never worked. Other remotes worked, but HTC TV didn't. HTC TV beats any remote out there. It's so much better than the remote app on Samsung devices...
So I'm bummed that I can't get it working on any non-sense based rom
Its does work. Just keep trying to download it. You may even have to reboot your phone. Im using HTC TV on the gpe tiktak rom

Does this show files for running the sense framework on the gpe? If so is it possible to transpose to aosp?

It was never about being possible or not. It is possible but it's not worth the time and effort it would take.

As topic stated is it worth it for better camera? Any major issue in Oppo? Or go other phone for camera. Thanks

It was a rhetorical question. I knew the answer.
What I'm trying to say is that probably not, since they are two TOTALLY different camera systems.
I know they aren't one to one, but don't they both use the omnivision 4mp sensor?
