[Q] Verizon HTC One M7 on T-Mobile - Verizon HTC One (M7)

Is it possible to get 3g/4g/LTE using T-Mobile service on my m7
Sent from my One using Tapatalk

1x, yes. 3G, maybe in certain areas. LTE, no. M7VZW doesn't support Tmobile's LTE frequencies.

Just like grey said. In some areas you can get H+ if that area was refarmed for the frequency our phones support. Like in the greater Phoenix area, I tried a friends T-Mobile SIM and got H+ running ViperONE

I would use their phone trade in thing to get an M8. You should get about $150 off when you trade in your M7.

Is the international GS3/quad core compatible with T-Mobile?

I assume the quad core gs3 is GSM? Will it work with T-Mobile 4G HSPA+? My friend is on T-Mobile and is planning to get the gs3 off contact. He wanted me to find out if T-Mobile 4G will work with the quad core version or should he just buy the T-Mobile version instead.

It will work but you will be stuck on Edge.
I'd check what frequencies it has. I'm using a T-Mobile version on at&t and get 4g data. If the international version has T-Mobile's frequencies then it should work.

Are you getting 4g lte or hspa? I don't think t-mobile s3 can do lte
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Would this work?
Tmobile uses Band (frequency): 850 MHz;900 MHz;1800 MHz;1900 MHz;UMTS: Band I (2100);UMTS: Band IV (AWS);UMTS: Band V (850)
Device Additional Information tab on that site says "Service 900, 1800, 1900, 850, 3g 2100"
But at the top of the page it says "Band:GSM 850/900/1800/1900"
T-Mobile UMTS/HSPA+ (3G/4G) mostly runs off 1700/2100 and the international model i9300 does not support the frequency we use. The quad band GSM/EDGE will work (and therefore voice/text and slow internets).
AT&T uses a more normal 850/1900 for everything but LTE, making them more "Normal" along with our Canadian neighbors.
T-Mobile is weird :-o.
If you've got access to any make of GSM based + unlocked iPhone, stick your T-Mobile SIM in it and see what speed you can get. An unlocked AT&T phone may work for testing also. We're supposed to be getting better coverage in this kinda frequency range for that but it will likely be a long time before we get sufficient coverage to enjoy a i9300.
Well put. It will be a long time before we see decent coverage for AT&T/UK phones.

Which int NOTE 2 for verizon 3g?

Is there an international version that will use verizons 3g network? Im in the boonies with no chance of 4g for years yet so a pure 3g version would be great.

Most International phones only have 3g on AT&T, straight talk..gsm network. Verizon And sprint are on cdma therefore they do not work on gsm frequency.

att red i747 getting tmobile hspa+ in denver

i unlocked a red s3 from att today, and it picked up tmobile hspa+!!!
i know, i know... tmobile is refarming 1900 band and what not....
THIS HAS NOT YET HAPPENED IN DENVER CO!
as of this writing, the refarming is not yet done in denver market. iphones are still only getting edge.

I was wondering if it is possible to use tmobiles hspa network from an unlocked att s3. And if it is possible to use a At&t lte on a tmobiles unlocked S3. Are you saying that with an unlocked At&t it is!? Ofcourse I live in Everett WA so I don't know if that matters.

Att s3 white and blue versions do NOT get tmobile hspa+... the red one I had in my hand did... if you are in one of the areas where tmobile has refarmed 1900 band then you can get hspa on att devices. What is weird is that Denver is not one of those makets. Iphones only get edge on tmobile here for now

Ok. So I want the red AT&T Version to give me the best of both worlds from T-Mobile and AT&T networks. I will get it unlocked too then. And I'm assuming that this has LTE too to work with AT&T LTE. And that the HSPA not only works on AT&T's Network but based on what your saying with T-Mobiles HSPA but only where T-Mobiles HSPA Network is available in the world. My last question is is this an internaional Version or The US Version? And what is the model or version number? Thank you.
Dial *#0011# on your phone it will tell you which band it's on. Check on wikipedia which band it is. Band IV would be 1700mhz aws.
Speaking of unlocked...
Especially good news for those of us thinking about the Nexus 4 and lamenting the lack of LTE.

T-mobile S4 on AT&T network not getting LTE

I have an unlocked Galaxy S4 T-Mobile version but when I put AT&T SIM it doesn't get LTE. I thought the T-Mobile version had compatible LTE with AT&T. I have entered the right APN for AT&T though, anyone can help?

Make sure your account has the 4g lte package. When you login to your att account should say like.
Data pro 4g lte.
If it says data pro 4g. Its not going to give you lte.
You need to have the imei of an att lte phone on your account then it will work.
I am sure that my data plan has LTE, I took it out my iPhone5 and I got LTE on my iPhone5. I have enabled the LTE and put the right APN. Still no data connection, I have not flashed it to a different modem. So what's wrong?
How to select the right LTE band? I have only select the "Network mode" to LTE/GSM/WCDMA(auto connect). and APN is that all?

Not to bash or anything, but I don't see why people try to use a phone for one carrier on another. Why not just sell (or trade?) your unlocked T-Mobile S4, for an AT&T S4?
You can still get retail price for the phone if it's in great condition. Then you wouldn't have this issue.
To me, I don't think whether it supports the same bands matter. Use T-Mobile on T-Mobile, AT&T on AT&T, Sprint on Sprint, so on and so forth.
Just my two cents.

Yeah, for LTE bands, AT&T version has less bands due to their spectrum restriction: 700 MHz (Band 17), AWS, IMT, IMT-E, while the T-Mobile version have all bands: 700 MHz (Band 17), CLR, AWS, PCS, IMT, IMT-E

Incorrect-all AT&T LTE phones support Band 4 and Band 17-AT&T is predominately Band 17 and has a small Band 4 footprint. T-Mobile's entire LTE footprint is Band 4. The real issue with a TMO S4 is whether or not you can roam on AT&T LTE network when no native T-Mobile network exists-especially since T-Mobile switched many of their legacy plans with put a serious limit or outright block on data roaming.

ahh ok. But with the case of getting of carrier unlocked and running a sim from att you're still fine right? Have to figure this out next if say someone gets the T-Mobile one, carrier unlocked can you install the myatt app from the play store or does it get blocked some how saying you aren't on a supported device?

It will "work", but I'm not sure how well. You will for sure get basic voice and text, as well as 2g data, and I think ATT and T-mobile share one LTE band, so if the LTE where you are is on that band, you should get that as well. However, I think their HSPA+ bands are different as well as their 3g bands, so you might not be able to get those. Someone may correct me though, as I'm new to T-mobile (and GSM) so I may be wrong on the 3g and HSPA+ part.
Yes, it will work. T-Mobile M8 will work on AT&T network for 2G, 3G, 4G, and LTE. T-Mobile M8 and AT&T M8 are the same phone, except the T-Mobile M8 has more bands to support T-Mobile's network.
This is AFAIK, if I am incorrect, someone please correct me.

In short: 3G will work, but since AT&T’s 3G network is limited to 21 Mbps, you will only get half of the potential speed. 4G will mostly work, but the T-Mobile version does not have the radio/antenna for AT&T’s 1900 MHz network, meaning you can only get 700 MHz and AWS. 700 MHz 4G should be nationwide, though. See the deals below.

You’re close, but the T-Mobile version had fewer LTE bands. Just FYI, 4G is LTE (bad marketing not withstanding). Here are the frequencies of the T-Mobile and AT&T M8s:
2G/2.5G - GSM/GPRS/EDGE:
850/900/1800/1900 MHz
3G - WCDMA:
AT&T: 850/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps
TMUS: 850/AWS/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps
4G - LTE:
AT&T: 700/850/AWS/1800/1900/2600 MHz
