I'm a filipino (kamusta ka na diyan dre ) but I don't own an Xperia S, but rather an Acro S... both of the devices share the same specs but different design and features (mine has expandable memory and ip57 certification - water and dust resistant). Anyway nice to see filipinos roaming around here in xda I''m from Lipa City, Batangas anyway
Can you make this thread both for Xperia S and Acro S?

Yeah I'm currently happy with mine too, I got this for 9k, bot a bad deal eh? My wife's using a acro s too that we got for 14k complete with accessories, unlike mine, I only got the unit and datacable with charger.

my thread n pala tau( it seems we have a thread already) i got my xperia s for 25k last may, how did u get it for just 9k
edit: for the rom im currently using my own rom and for the kernel dual boot with PAC Rom

I got this from my cousin, he sold it too me and bought an xperia T. Anyways, you're using you're own ROM? That's nice, I'm currently developing a kernel that I will personally use, but haven't had the time to.continue it since.last week, been too busy. But It's good to hear we have fellow filipino's developing some ROMS even though for personal use. :thumbup:

Hi,
Anyone using the FXP CM10 Rom here for xperia S? How is it so far? I'm planning to use it, just want to know some info regarding it, I've read the thread but it's so confusing. If anyone is using it, can you please give any feedback since we're here in the Philippines. Is the Data connection working and if the scrolling is smoother than stock. Thanks in advance!

You can pretty much try it yourself to see if it can satisfy your needs. But if it did not, you can always return to your stock rom or your previous rom

Hi guys, many of us were looking for a correct porting of XPERIA Z WALKMAN APP, finally someone could do it.
I am currently using CyanogenMod 10.1 and this MOD works very well, everything works and is great. Just follow the instructions, you will find a special mod for android 4.2.2 at the end of the thread, it is the 4.3 version

I did read it.. the dev made it for CM10.1 .. I would like to try it I know its safe.

Go to Xperia Z forums to have differences. And yes, as far as your device is C6502, this firmware will work

I began the torrent this week end ... and my dsl connection is not very fast (60Kb/s for uploads) so there is not many seeders at the moment.
I started many torrent shares on the FT homepage. I want to implement a kind of firmwares repository inside Flashtool. To ease search and download of ftf.
My problem is storage ... so I tried with torrent and I will see how viable it is. If the adoption is high with many seeders ... then next release of FT will have a firmwares repository

According to Vodafone ,android 4.3 is scheduled for Xperia m

I'm using the dual 4.2.2 Rom on my xperia m right now. Will I have to go back to stock 4.1 to receive an ota-update once it is released?

Calm down folks. The update is in testing phase if the update got rejected it can take months to release in it.

Yes i think you made a good point here, if the update has gone to vodafone than i think it has gone to check and include some carrier specific changes. So i think the update is near

Well, still good, at least 4.3 update, pitty it's not 4.4 but there will always be custom roms

Well obviously the update Vodafone AU is testing will only go to those with Vodafone AU. However, I do trust this is an indication of other carriers (be it Australian or not, I'm not sure) to be testing the Android 4.3 update as well.

i think so, because we not alone use xperia m there is many developer who can make it through :good:
