I'm having a problem running apps that I developed inside eclipse onto Galaxy Tab 3 (SM-T210) 4.1.2. Whenever I run the app, the device list shows up saying that the tablet it online and everything seems fine, but the application doesn't show up on the device anywhere. I've successfully been able to run and test apps using my Galaxy SIII running kitkat 4.4.3 and even the android device emulator. I've tried switching the target API and updating the sdk but still no luck.. Any solutions?

Hi,
I just bought the phone and I am still mastering the beast.
I finally managed to install Kies and I downloaded couple of Samsung apps. Everytime I click on Samsung apps, I get a warning saying "This phone is not supported by Samsung apps". I am on JF6 firmware. I was able to download but unable to install as the install options seems to be greyed out. Also, in Samsung apps, under the "Select a phone" option, I get S8500L and S8500 as the two options.
Can someone please help. I have the stock phone as is.
That's because they (stupidly) don't have any Android apps on there yet, they are all Symbian or Windows Mobile.
Amazing! (in a wrong way). Thanks for clarifying. I will download Android apps directly through some other way.
the only way to install samsung apps, is via the samsung app itself inside the phone
don't use kies
then the rest of the apps are in Android market
Damn..i have the same question in my mind. I want to install Samsung Apps on my phone
any news if is it possible to install samsung apps on a galaxy s running ics from teamhacksung??

Been a while since I tried it so can't remember if it worked or not now but try Wanam Kit (Requires Xposed) & fool the system/ROM into thinking it's not rooted/modified.
I tried with root cloack and did not work
For the Galaxy S4 there is a solution:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2621550
The key is to disable the dhcp protection. I tried to add the line wlan.wfd.hdcp=disable to the bottom the build prop. That did not work but now, instead of a hardware issue i have a connection error, so something have changed. Since then the tab tries to connect real hard but the connection error finally appears.
I have a rooted Tab 3 (sm-t310) with TWRP recovery and stock 4.4.2 ROM. Neither screen mirroring, nor the SmartVIew app worked after upgrading from stock 4.2.2. I tried using the build.prop edit (adding "wlan.wfd.hdcp=disable"), and my Tab 3 would "connect" to my Samsung TV (F8500 series), but it never actually started mirroring to the TV. When I tried using the SmartView app, instead of mirroring the TV screen to my Tab 3, it gave the message "not available".
Fixing Screen Mirroring
I replaced the /system/lib/libWFD_ENGINE.so file with this version: Screen_Mirroring_UFND3_fix.zip and changed the permissions to "rw-r--r--". After rebooting, screen mirroring worked.
Fixing SmartView
I found that SmartView only works when I have stock recovery installed. I can use Odin to flash between stock recovery or TWRP, but that's a pain. Instead I'm using Flashify to switch between recovery images. The free version of Flashify allows 3 flashes per day, which is plenty for me.
Does this work on 4.2.2 ?????

I've tried multiple times with different apks even using titanium Back up and using my apks for my Galaxy Tab S and can almost get it connected but I keep getting unfortunately Host Manager has stopped working.
I would really like to get my Gear S up and running on my HTC One.

Same here. Have spent hours and hours trying to get this to work. I am stuck where it says "Host Manager has Stopped". Also super annoying since whenever you get to that point you basically have to restart your phone.
There's lots of threads on the topic, but some are about the Gear 1 or Gear 2, and then they are all about kit kat. We here have some of the latest and greatest with the M8 Lollipop GPE and the Gear S, terrible that we can't get them to work at all.

Just disable Bluetooth to stop the host manager has stopped loop, you won't have to restart your phone.
Still Looking for a fix as well.
Oh, nice. Solid find. Will keep at it later tonight. It definitely seems to me that we need the newest version of Samsung Gear in order for it to not FC on lollipop.

My Test Scenarios:
HTC One M8 Harmon Kardon on Stock 5.0.1 Rooted Lollipop
How it Works:
1. Download Gear Manager Latest Version and GearManagerStub.apk
2. Download the APK Files
3. Move these files to your phone.
4. 1st install GearManagerstb.apk into SYSTEM/APP folder, then Gear Manager and all remaining apks install like normal.
5. Open Gear Manager on your phone and connect, it should start to download updated apks you can install all APK's Except HOSTMANAGER and GEARPLUGIN make sure you cancel those two APK's or else you will End up with Hostmanager force close and GearPlugin force close.... if you end up with GearPlugin Force close just install the 2.2.15011799 version. It should complete the installation after that.
What versions I'm currently using.
Gear Manager 1.0.02 - Make Sure this is installed in System/App
Samsung Gear 2.2.15011799
Gear Plugin 2.2.15011799
GearModule 2.2.14102499
Goproviders 2.0.337
HostManager 2.2.14100299
Samsung Accessory Service 2.15.96
SASystemProviders 2.3.26
svoiceprovider 1.0.3
Update Gear software 2.141021.2191
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to rooting + flashing .. basically everything to android. Currently I have rooted my phone via Odin V3.07 & using "CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100".
Everything works perfectly fine, until I try to install an app from Samsung - "Samsung Galaxy Life". It show that "Your device isn't compatible with this version." ** Before rooting my phone, I have no issue in using this application (Samsung Galaxy Life).
Well, I tried to download from other source, 1MobileMarket. I installed the Samsung Galaxy Life into my phone, end up showing "Oops! Couldn't load Data. Please exit and try again."
Anyone from help can help to solve this issue?
Hey Everyone,
I've found the "solution" I guess.
I went to download the Samsung Galaxy Life APK from other sources (1MobileMarket), then update it from Galaxy Apps.
Now I can open it !
Hope this can help other next time
It is not big problem
Just try to make wipe cache & dalvik from recovery
Hi, since the version of this android 6.0 is quite old and the apps aren't running correctly or frequently crashing. I want to update to the latest version of android 6.0. But after the update I get the message "Firmware update failed. Please contact samsung help center for more info." Same goes in recovery mode but says update from external storage is disabled. I use a Samsung Galaxy j2 Prime Smart ph. Is there a way to enable it through adb or something? I will appreciate the help alot.
