F180L no network when updating to jellybean

what is wrong with my lg f180l?? i just stock at 4.0.4.. whenever i update it to jellybean official 4.1.2 it always said service disabled.. i tried kdz and lg mobile support tool but still same.. but in 4.0.4.. everything is normal.. please help TIA!

can you still see your imei when you press *#06# ? you can try hard reset then flash again with kdz.. hope it helps

it has imei.. whenever i flash to to official f180l or e97510b EU i got no signal.. the solution is back to 4.0.4.. T_T

Same for me....
And I notice that you can read the imei only at the first boot after the upgrade, then, if you reboot again the phone, also the imei disappears...
It is a baseband problem, I guess...

yes thats it.. in this case i cant even convert it to e975 as i need because it must be in jellybean rom 1st T_T.. can somebody help up out.. thanks!

u need the base or is it the modem they call it for the F180L if u don't flash that too, ur phone won't work, that's how it is...
get the modem of the F180L and flash that afterwards ur E975 rom or what rom u use, they u should be able to get signal.
FreeGee got modems in zip so maybe u can use it: http://downloads.codefi.re/houstonn/lgog/modem

Maybe you can enable all GSM bands dialing 5457#*180#....
I read that in Korea they disabled 2G.

u can flash them through CWM or TRWP either of which u desire ^^

[request] need efs backup from malaysia e975

Guys? please share EFS backup of any Malaysia Optimus G975. I lost radio and have no any signal after flashing korean kdz rom.
Back to any EU or native Malaysia not help.

dude ur efs has ur own imei . better u remove this file . lucky i ha my own backup efs so i restore and got my original imei

EFS messed up problem of LG optimus G F180
Can any body held me . I have lost my cell fone service after installing kitkat zip rom V20A of vodafone in my LG optimus f180L. After that I flashed European KDZ back which I was uning previously V10h but after installing baseband I lost signals on my device. no data ne any service . and after inserting sim card my IMEI number shows unknown.. Please held me how can i get out of this problem..

^ you better have EFS backup, because you'll need it to restore your network signal. Each IMEI is unique, located in EFS partitions, so you need a backup of your own partition..You could have done that with FreeGee. NEVER flash any ROM without performing an EFS and modem backup first. I read that you can restore IMEI with a specific software, if you don't have EFS backup, you could give it a try.

E975 no signal and restart after 1 minute working!

Hello friends,
I've install CARBON 4.4.2 ROM on my LG E975 after that when camera force closed I restart phone, but it didn't boot up! Then I try flash another rom but any rom didn't boot up at all except official CM11, but it didn't detect sim card! So I decide to flash official KDZ with flash tool, after flashing KDZ it boots up but still didn't have signal and also IMEI is unknown!
As I checked it seems the baseband problem and unfortunately I don't have backup of my EFS partition
First I want to know is it baseband issue and where can I find E975 baseband and how to flash when bootloader is locked?!
Another strange issue is that after flashing KDZ when I turn on phone, It works but restarts after 1 min and it repeats...!! What is this problem for?

Hi,
My phone has no IMEI and i cannot find signal. I update recovery TWRP and then it's lost;/ I tried backup android via LG TOOLS but it not help. I tried install new rom by KDZ end had error - missed some files....
How i can back my IMEI?

This is why you dont install custom stuff when youre noob! You cant do nothing now you can only trash it!

The issue can be with the ROM you've flashed. I have the same problem when I flash Miui 7. Just go with some other ROM.

N910P on bootloder and N910H under Battery !!!

Hello , i got a new phone Note 4 ( Sorry wrong title . it is n910F not H)
it was on kitkat 4.4.2 and it was working well so i wanted to upgrade to 6.0.1
when i go to bootloader , i saw N910P but inside firmware and under battery it is N910F
I was confused so i flashed n910F but it fails to flash so i tried n910p , it worked but i lost imei and network. i took it a repair store and he wrote a new cert file . now i got new imie but still i dont have network. if i want to search manually , it always say error
He made downgrade to 5.1.1 and make unlock via programing tools but the same.
i didnt make any back ups foe efs.
can some one help me with this?

You should always always backup every partition. Especially efs.
Anyhow, what service are you trying to use? GSM or CDMA?
If your using it with GSM, and If this phone is truly a sprint phone, it probably got sim locked when he fixed it. I ain't no expert but it probably needs unlocked if this is the case.
Edit: I just understood what you wrote, that he already unlocked it. Sorry for misunderstanding.
But if your using it with sprint, maybe it just needs activation updated. I don't use sprint or CDMA so I don't know a lot about that.
But main thing you need to do before anything else. Is make a full back up of your partitions. I always make backup in two.( Which is mainly all you need)
But also there are programs that (I can't remember there names,) make backups of all your hidden partitions, just in case.
I understand I didn't provide you with a definite answer to your problem but hope it can help.

nah, i am not using it with sprint and yes i am using GSM network.

Edit. Are you using sprint stock ROM? What version? Are you sure it's unlocked? If yes, I might be able to help. But I have to gather some info. And get to my PC. Cause I'm testing a ROM right now and am lagging

I have faced the same problem and, managed to solve it. Here is the solution..
1. Download any kk or lp firmware of n910p. Extract the .tar file, get the ' modem.bin' and flash it using Odin. Do it twice, yes, twice. Before flashing the modem, make sure you have unchecked 'auto boot' option in Odin. To turn off the phone after the first flesh, just take off the battery.
2. Download twrp 3.0.1.0 for n910f. Yes.. TWRP recovery for N910F ( or the model specified under the battery). Flash it using Odin.
3. Download any stock based custom ROM which is based on the modem you have flashed. For example, BOB7, COG5 , COK1( these are the last 4 characters of the stock firmware/modem)
4. Flash the custom ROM using twrp, flash gasps, and smile.
If you face bootloop, just try different kernel. I'm using BOB7 modem, emotion kernel, vision x custom ROM.

yes i am sure phone is unlocked through Domestic Unlock ( z3x & octoplus Boxes)
also i am on Stock 5.1.1 lollipop
I think the only way u can help me is by sharing a good QCN and EFS for N910P ! (if the above solution from our friend doesnt work 4 me )
Also i am from another country so there is no harm for you if u share it with me in private.

I did exactly as u said but still dont have network. i think i messed up my efs folder .

Could you please check the IMEI? Is it null or "00"? Does your phone shows baseband number?
