Im update my ace2 from cm10.2 to cm11 (teamcanjica) and now i cant watch streams on twitch tv app i got only black screen should i back on cm10.2 or have some way to resolve problem
Switch back to cm 10.2! In CM11 it doesn't work at this time. Adaptive Streaming bug it's called I think. You can search for it

it's a known bug on OMX, you should wait until devs fixes it

I recently flashed a cm10 rom and ever since then YouTube will not play video without setting HQ on. Is this a cm10 specific bug? How can I fix this?

If its not happening on cm9 I would say its a cm10 thing... not sure but when I ran cm10 that didn't happen... that I remember anyways....

This is my first post, so sorry if this is in the wrong section or i've done something wrong !
I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to this sort of stuff, but I flashed my WFS to a CyanogenMod 10 and everything is working perfectly apart from HQ videos. This bugs me quite a bit because youtube is probably my most used app. I've tried reflashing my ROM but nothing seems to work. So im just wondering if theres any way to get YouTube HQ videos working or are there any CM10 (or 9) versions which I could use which can play HQ videos. I just love CyanogenMod too much to go back to stock, so I hope there's a way I can sort it out.

Same here, hope someone find a solution! For your info theres a ROM called JellyKing and its cm10 based you shall check it out. I cant install anything from Play Store but it may work for you!
On slim CM10 MOD , HQ working very well on Youtube.
But when i just installed CM 10 with CM 10.1 features , i have big 2 seconds lags.
I didn't saw some differents about that two mods, so why on that first everything its ok, but on that second, youtube HQ is just a s...
I want someone that had purity rom(4.3) or a CM10.2(the newest nightly) to confirm that the hardware acceleration is fixed and back to track,
same as it was with 4.2.2 because i had cm10.2 a long time ago probably the 3rd nightly when it just came out and i noticed videos lag
like hell(bsplayer/mx/dice) so please someone confirm that it was fixed on purity or newest cm10.2 nightly because i don't wanna waste my
time installing them and finding out that its not fixed again then roll back to cm10.1.... its annoying as hell.
//P.S Don't confirm for videos under 4 gb, i need a 4gb+ mkv file 720/1080p because that's when you really need the acceleration.

Well, i just installed the latest Vanir nightly, then installed MX Player and the v7 NEON coded, did a h/w+ test, and it lagged
I tried the same .mkv file with the same player/settings on 4.2.2 cm10.1 and it played smoothly, I tried purity rom, same thing
Tried even cm10.2 nightlies, same thing. I guess we're doomed.
Loaded stock 4.2.1 as of right now and working flawless.

So still no ideas why HW video decoding is F*%$ed up in 4.3?
Anyone running 4.3 stock, factory image from Google, do you experience any issues with HW video decoding? I'm wondering if the issue is specific to AOSP compiled ROMs.
What is the best way to get Google's attention and help with this?
I think you can post a bug, but I can't remember where it is.

I been having issue using Cyanogenmod 11 (KitKit 4.4.4) with Skype? The video chat doesn't work. It just simply crash when you load the camera, but talking is fine. Maybe it's the Cyanogenmod itself or Skype been the crapper, but is there a fix for this?

I have issues with CM11 and camera software. Google goggles doesn't work either. I had to go back to CM10.2.

I been searching everywhere, but there is no solution. It works fine on 4.1.2, but nothing works at 4.4.4, regardless what ROMs I used. I think it's just fundamentally a bug with either Skype and Android 4.4.4.
I'm trying to see if CM10.2 will work...

Has anybody else noticed stuttering/framedrops with CM12.1 and CM11 in comparison to stock rom? Anything else runs really smooth but I don't get fluent playback with the youtube app somehow. I've tried latest snapshot and nightly with opengapps nano.

I've always had that yt stuttering problem on cm12.1 on other devices too it drives me mad lol. Do you also notice that the max volume on yt in cm12.1 on this tablet is waaay lower compared to stock??
I'm back to stock. YouTube isn't stuttering anymore and volume is a lot higher as well. But i miss the speed of cm ?
