[MOD] - Enhanced Quick Settings for 2.15/2.17 Base (updated 10.08.12)

Enhanced Quick Settings for HTC One X unlocked

In Base 2.15/2.17 HTC has implemented code for a complete EQS, but for reasons unknown to us earthlings did not make it available to the user.
xda-Recognized Developer j4n87 managed to pull the right strings and activate this EQS. So with his kind permission I present his findings as a mod for all custom roms on Base 2.15/2.17
It also includes MIUI-Style battery-bar (small horizontal bar on top of screen to show battery-state) including control-app by pvyParts. After installing mod, start app to set up battery bar. The control app is still a work in progress and I will update it whenever there is a new version. I know that not all functions are working yet (flashing...), so no need to post that.

Important:
This mod is for deodexed roms of base 2.15/2.17. Please do NOT use with any other base or stock rom.
Do not use any other mods that modify systemUI or the two would eliminate each other which could lead to bootloop or other unwanted effects.
Please make nandroid before flashing.
Flash in recovery and NOT in same run with a rom flash. Always let phone completely boot once after rom-flashing before applying mods.

No, the code for toggling would have to be in the rom and it isn't. That would need a complete recoding of the EQS and I am only using what has been there already. j4n87 will have that option in his viper-rom most probably.

EQS status bar pure version have ii transparent Statusbar or is black?

Just a quick question on this - I noticed that on ARHD ROM with this included the bug with the notifications is present (when you pull down the notification bar any new notifications can't be seen until the menu is the whole way down, the design should be that you can see the notifications just as you begin to pull the bar down). Does this happen with your pack also?

Just wondering, does anyone know the "history" of this eqs? I remember having the eqs on the dhd, pretty much exactly like this one and I was wondering how our eqs came to be exactly the same as HTC's...
I'm guessing HTC implemented it on a device at some point and we've taken in from that since? Or did HTC borrow our idea?

Hey jotha great job once again your work is appreciated I have a question on the 2.05 base it had media volume with the slide bar at top is it possible to do the same with 2.15 I really like that feature its so much easier then going into sound settings

Somewhat unrelated question, how have you enabled the % battery option in the screenshot? Is it a rom feature?

The rounded corner is just a mod, I've got the same problem he showed: all the numbers are on the bottom of the screen and it make a gap with contact predictions ...

Thats cool dude, I was actually trying to do it but failed to flash, phone went into bootloop, if I send you the frameword-res and systemui apks will you be able to pull of the same mod for me? Btw its the aosp 4.4 rom I am using now.

Really don't know... This is compiled on 4.3 framework and I'm still on 4.3, so i can't try for now

Nexus 4 is xhdpi device, and Nexus S is an HDPI device, so Dialer from N4 won't work

it's a mix betwenn blinkfeed and standard android style...
icon is a mix of blackberry, android, rounded sense design...
if you have a sense ROM, you can't do this (you can but you will make your device laggy), if you have an CM ROM then you can manage a launcher and find a good themer...
But you will loose some of effect from ONe2 concept...

Yes VRthemeing should be fine. in odex rom resources ie icons images are still in apk only code is in .odex file. you can still change images. I believe
or you share PM the icons i will make VRTheme package.

HTC 4x1 Clock Widget Mods​
Introduction:
A lot of people in the Sprint HTC One forums were asking if there was a way to make the 4x1 clock widget one color (Always white, always black), rather then having it change according to the time of day. There is actually a little tutorial in the M8 forums on how to do this thanks to @fisha21 I followed this guide, all though it was harder then expected!
I DO NOT HAVE A INTERNATIONAL VERSION OF THIS PHONE, SO PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING!
Installation:
Download/Move to phone
Reboot into recovery
Flash
???
Profit.

Do you mean disappear from the home screens or disappear from the list of widgets you get when you pinch the screen or long press and do "add apps or widgets"

Overview
There are two 4.4.2 codebases right now in existence, one for V5 and one for V6; this one is based on V6..
I mean, this phone is pretty similar resource-wise to the firmware this came from. the resolution should probably be fine but I'll need feedback in every regard since this is really experimental

This shares the same codebase as the firmware it came from and everything should be function with connectivity and stuff; but I'll need ADB logs of any error if possible.
This is JFLTE multibase and should work fine on any of the S4 models that fall under that umbrella.

no gapps !!!
ui is looks good but resolution wide then screen
status bar issue
portrait view icons small landscape view icons look similar to another rom
no themes
on screen keys not needed no light in soft keys
setting menu splits not looks good
finally this rom looks like tablet ui and needed rework
anyhow overall i like this rom but needed to fix UI resolution

hello i setted 320 dpi and layout is better, but cant turn off data and cant connect to wifi, also when i call someone with dialer that have installed cant turn off call xD, is possible to port miui v5 to 4.4.2? thank you for the hard work

It really does look super nice, but it is not yet ready for a daily use. (a warning to those who want to try too ^^)
I tried to change the DPI to 320 (all elements look well), and also 400 (everything fits in the notif panel), but both gave me a FC wich would not let me go to the Home screen which is why I could not test out more with those DPI numbers.
Can the DPI change have made that FC (settings) ?
