Sorry to sound like a broken record but...
Have you flashed the MK7 modem AFTER flashing DN3? Can't tell if the nuance is recognized, and is does make a difference.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement

Are you flashing the DN3 found in the AT&T threads? Or in the N7100 threads? 2 different phones.
But as coug stated... Flash DN3 let it boot. Then go back and flash the tmo modem/radio.
I'm using DN3 on my T889.
My setup: T889 / 4.1.2 Bootloader / DN3 4.4.2 / AGNi 4.0 Kernel / Tmobile MK7 Modem / SuperSU 1.99 / TWRP 2.7.0.1 Recovery / Sony Bravia Engine 3 /
Other than the random black screen freezes it runs good. Wish it used a lot less ram ... which I think contributes to the black screen freezes...

It'll only happen if I don't kill my apps. Especially when I opened a few apps and don't exit them properly. So maybe 2-3 times a day.

I definitely wouldn't flash an S3 rom in his note 2 (not that you are suggesting it).
If an at&t custom rom is working with wifi calling it was likely developed on a t-mo base for multiple carrier support including the Tmo goodies. There are some good ones that roll that way.
OP, is this a tmo or at&t device? If not a tmo, don't flash the mk7 modem. Stick with your specific devices modem.

DN3 Link it says 4.3 but the OP hasnt been updated.
AGNi Pure Stock if you flash DN3 v4.4.2 then you'll need to flash the corresponding kernel..
So if you flash 4.4.2 Rom flash a 4.4.2 Kernel
If you flash 4.3 Rom then flash the 4.3 kernel.

Telus Mobility Note 2

For anyone out there that is using Telus's version of the phone. I have successfully rooted my unit with CF in and also successfully installed TWRP and made a nandroid. I also listed the stock baseband and model number on my phone. I have already read and seen about 3-5 people that have tried flashing custom roms on there Telus note 2 from the international forum. Do not do that, there is currently as of Nov 11 2012 no custom roms that can be flashed for your Note 2. There is one Kernel
SGH-1317M
4.1.1
BASEBAND I317MVLALJ2
Thanks for the info. I will be receiving mine on Monday.
Actually you can flash the rom of n7105, which is the international lte version. So you can now have the multi-windows feature.

AT&T Galaxy Note 2. I recommend following the video below.
http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-note-2-root/how-to-root-galaxy-note-2-easiest-method/
Pause the video when u too.
After you flash it, Boot up your phone, go to the Play Store and dl GooManager.
Install GooManager, open up GooManager.
Hit the Menu key and choose 'Install OpenRecoveryScript' and 'Yes', it'll install twrp.
Boot your phone into recovery and install your choice of rom from the 'AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2' forum.
I recommend the JellyThunder Blackout RC3.0 Rom.

What you could do is try other universal root methods, doubt most would work with knox intact... And you run the risk of bricking your device.

Always thought flashing different modems/radios from other variants were not a good idea.
The stock kernel that comes with the GE rom works on our TMo variants and aside from that I've had LTE working on GE as well.

I downloaded the deodexed version but am hesitant to flash. Has anyone flashed the deodexed version? Does it install with no issues using CWM, does it break root (I read in other forums this happened to people), does it play nicely with supersu? Are there really any differences from Android 4.2.2? I am just curious if anyone has any feedback on the rom. Thanks.

Why port it? There's no difference between porting it and flashing it w/ the new modem. You'll get the same results except for maybe one feature that they dont have is WiFi calling.

Good afternoon
After working on the phone all day trying to figure out how to unlock i manage to do it flashing a roger 4.1.1 modem. The issue now is that i forgot to backup the 4.1.2 and don't know where to look for it or if i should update to a better modem if there is one better than the 4.1.2. Currently on Clean rom 5 is that matters. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the fast reply, the one i installed was ROGERS_MODEM_I317MVLALJ2 just so i could unlock the network of the phone,i ask cause mk6 seems alot different from i317MVLALJ2.
Ok i tried the MK6 but the phone was rebooting after a few minutes so i had to re flashed the rogers j2 modem back....
This SGH i317m is from a company named Claro, is there any other detail i can provide to improve the chances of finding the right modem for my phone? i haven't tested the phone on the 4.1.1 modem yet, current version is 4.1.2.

That's because you flashed a Rom which changed it to that. You know the model of your device, so you use the correct modem according to you device model. And everything will be OK..[emoji106][emoji41]

Hello Bajanman,
I am also facing the exact same issue that you are solving out here, I am using at&t galaxy note 2 sgh-I317,
I flashed DN4 rom into my device, i got it all up and running. But now I am facing issues with network reception and my device also does not allows me enable "wcdma only" network mode. Is that an issue with my modem? kindly advise on this.
@sawdoctor and @dicksteele is currently guiding for this here.

Only been running this for a day, but its super smooth with none of that tmobile crap lol. And so far for my observations, D3 deep sleeps a lot more than C2.

You guys should already be on N900TUVUCNB4. You need the 4.4.2 bootloader for this. If you guys aren't then go flash N900TUVUCNB4 tar via Odin. That will give you the latest Tmobile 4.4.2 bootloader and modem. Then you can flash twrp and flash this.
Does Google Wallet work on this?

Nope. That only works with stock tmobile roms.
I'm sure this has been asked/answered a thousand times...International Roms work on the Tmobile phones? Att Roms need Sideswipe or something like that?

I must have read wrong then, but the title does say:
"STOCK ROM] XXUEND3 for N900T" so being
that it says N900T and the T stands for Tmobile I
must have simply misunderstood. LOL

I think what you mean is "SafeStrap" for AT&T roms.
Good luck!
