[Q] i need vold.fstab(stock)

Ermm i just unrooted my phone recently but i faced a problem after. I realised my vold.fstab file is wrong. So now i partially bricked my phone now can someone please take a screenshot of the original vold.fstab for ace 2. It will be best in written form as i cannot dowload anyfiles.

Need original vold.fstab for Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i with version 2.3.6

Network drop problem

I have a problem with a device I got from Germany.
Use it with local israeli sim and it drops from the network every few minutes.
Rom: phoenix 5.0
Modem: LK7
Kernel : stock
Tapatalk N7100 note 2

Try different Modem.

have you tried already to flash a complete stock rom from Israel? i think I've seen a couple of them in sammobile.com

the sim works fine
i also checked sim's from 3 other company
1st works fine for 10~15 min then drops for a sec and then works again
2nd doesn't work at all for 5 min then connects for a min and drops for 10~15 min
3rd same as 1st

Do a mega wipe then flash stock rom.

I am having a similar problem. I am rooted, running the GB Prada Rom at the moment. It came with a fix for a PUK sim error, but i still am not able to access data or my sim card. I have flashed many GB roms and they all deny me access to the sim card. I have searched around a few threads and have been encouraged to extract a 'Tee' folder out of a working rom to replace it in my desired rom, but i have not been able to find a rom that will actually allow me to access the sim. Maybe i am not understanding the steps to extract that folder and replace it. Will updating to JB all together fix this problem with the sim?? I am willing to go to any Rom that will satisfy this problem.

Upgraded from the stock rom

[Q] SIM Card Contacts not showing after installing custom rom

Hello I've just installed a custom rom on my ace 2 (jellybam with android 4.2.2), installation went fine. Only one problem, phone doesn't finds/shows sim contacts anymore.
Can anybody help to solve problem please? Thank you very much

Go to contacts-left button-import/export-import from sim card-left button-import all.

Sim issue on dn4

Hi everyone!
I have an at&t galaxy note 2 sgh-i317 and it is running on jelly beans 4.1.1, i have installed dn4 rom in it after installation it says no sim card
And
One more problem
i have installed 4.4.2 official but wifi did not worked
More...
I have installed ezkat on it but same problem of wifi
Only It runs perfectly on 4.1.1
But i want to update it please help me... Thanks

You have the old bootloader....so ezkat and dn4 require the Agni kernel to get wifi working....
Both threads clearly explain the needed changes to establish a wifi connection....g

And i haven't understand that (i have old bootloader)? (needed agni Kernel)?

You said wifi did not work on dn4 or ezkat....so is that not the case ??
The bootloader doesn't need to be touched if Agni kernel is used...
Agni kernel fixes the wifi connection for the 4.4.x roms running the original bootloader..
Sim issues may mean you need to adjust your APN SETTINGS after flashing the rom...

The answer to this is 1) flash a different stock ROM. Then flash the dn4. It works
