Anyone having issues with this app? Worked fine till this morning, but now it's stopping and giving the option to report it regardless what format I try to open. I cleared cache and data, wiped cache partition, nothing is fixing it.
Yes I know I can use other apps and I will be. I just happen to like hire this one was laid out and would like to continue to use it.

On some files when I try to open them through e.g. the browser download it won't work.
But when i use root explorer or the app itself it will work.

Just to be clear, the app won't open the files (ie failed to open) or you can't find a way to actually try and open the file in the first place?
If it's the latter you need to clear defaults for that type, whatever app opens the files you need to clear defaults of that particular app in settings.

Yes, because it happens with multiple files. I can open them just fine after downloading Polaris Office from the Play Store. But I prefer the stock design. Plus it bothers me that a brand new phone has a failing sock app.

1) force stop the browser process 2) Remove all permissions for /data/data/com.android.browser/app_plugins/com.adobe.flashplayer/.macromedia/Flash_Player/config.data

How to remove permission? Delete that conf file?
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda app-developers app
Nope ...
If you a good file explorer, longpress that file and there should be an option to change permissions of it, otherwise use a terminal emulater and run 'chmod 000' on it.

Your file explorer is probably not set to display hidden files/folders
You can either fix that or just run the following in a terminal emulator
1. su
2.chmod 000 /data/data/com.android.browser/app_plugins/com.adobe.flashplayer/.macromedia/Flash_Player/config.data
If it goes back to the normal prompt, you're all set; if it throws up an error, just double check you entered everything right.

Hi, I tried the command on the terminal and it returned me to the normal prompt after input without any error. However when I try to watch a video on dolphin browser hd, I still have the same audio and black screen with no video.

Oops, sorry ... you need to reboot afterwards for it to take effect.
Also, the Dolphin browser holds it in a different folder (not com.android.browser), so you'll have to dig around for that (I'm assuming it will be something like com.dolphin.browser)

Yeah, just use a file manager.
Browse to system/app and delete what you don't want, just make sure to make a backup first.
Settings / Apps / All, then choose an app and hit "Disable". Not exactly uninstalling, but the closest you'll ever get if you are not rooted.

Hi guys.
I'm after some advise if possible. Every time I install a Rom upon starting it I instantly get the message music enhancer has stopped.
I don't know what to do to resolve this issue, I've tried with ARHD, Insert Coin and SD rom all with the same error.
I have an int m8, unlocked boot loader and currently s-on as I get the whelp message.
Any advise appreciated!
Thanks.

Have you taken the ota or updated to the 1.54 build?
Yes, I am doing full wipes and I also OTA'd to 1.54 build when I was stock...
I really don't get what's the problem. It's every time I reboot the phone "music enhancer has stopped responding".... But then seconds later it is running in the background?

I'd run a nandroid, copy it off the phone, put a rom on your internal sd card, wipe everything including data, but not the internal sd yet, flash the rom, format the internal sd and boot. See if it crashes after that and before any third party apps are installed. I'm on viper and no problem with it at all.

First off, do a data wipe if you have not done that before. If you still have the problem, try wiping system in recovery before installing a new ROM.

Wipe absolutely everything (apart from sd contents) and reflash
Also check your music settings to see if it is set to automatically update album art. If you have a bunch of songs or artists that are unknown it can cause it to crash.

After trying various tricks to stops this error, its seems this is the most plausible explanation - I have "wierd" taste in music and most of, if not all, my albums have album art that's rare to find.
Thanks for the replies guys

Whenever I go to my camera folder in my gallery app then this message appears Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped. I downloaded a gallery app from the playstore and I dont have problems with it. I need you help to fix this.
Is there a htc gallery reinstall app or something like gapps?
Go to settings/apps/ gallery and clear data and cache. See if that helps.
