Can anyone please help me get this widget working...stock rooted 4.4.2 AT&T i have downloaded the apk put in systems/app and changed permissions to rw-r--r--r i think is right..but still getting unfortunately flash has stopped can someone please walk me through this

This is my first post here and I hope some experts can help me out. I'm new to Android so please excuse me if I have asked a simple or silly question here.
Alright, my question is...I have an untouched apk file extracted (not by me) from GT-N7100 (TGY region) stock rom (sorry I cannot attach it to the post as its over 8mb and I cannot post download links yet). Basically, this apk file is a font package present in the GT-N7100 stock rom but got left out of the GT-N7105 stock rom. I have tried installing it on my GT-N7105 but it just keeps say 'application not installed'. My device is not rooted and due to the stock rom for my device not being available for download yet, I'm holding off rooting just incase I need to unroot for warranty issues. So, could someone please help and shed some light on how I can install this apk without rooting my device?

Thx! Guess i have no choice but to root. Just have to wait for the stock rom to appear first.

I got it to install! Used a signing tool found in the forum, signed the apk and installed. Very easy and no need root.

Does anyone have a copy of the stock from for this device. I have corrupted my SystemUi.apk and need to flash a clean copy of the Rom. At the very least can anyone upload their SystemUi.apk from the stock device so that i can move it to my system/apps folder? Any help would be much appreciated and i thank you in advance

I have updated my phone to the leaked android 4.3 and I accidentally deleted the email app. Is there someone who is kind enough to upload the stock email app from the leak Android 4.3 please?

If I'm not wrong, you might be able to get it back if you factory reset your phone. I'm surprised that you can delete that app. Ever since 4.1.2, I can't even delete any stock apps, only disabling them.

Still got the flashable file? Juat keep unzipping it untill u find the apk unless someone will give you it prob better off asking in the 2 threads created in the general section mate

Unzip the ROM file like Goldstein said and you'll find it under system/apps.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the responces... the file i have was the odin flashable of the leak 4.3 for note 2... I dont know if there is a way to extract it from an img file.
I already rooted it so I have access to the root folder and accedentaly deleted the email app.
For now I am using a modded email app but its not the 4.3 email app.
I would really appreciate if some who is also using the 4.3 leak to extract and upload the stock email app.

I have extracted a weather widget apk from my old LG Optimus 4x HD phone. I tried to install it in my XZL (C6502). But it says cannot install. Any idea how i can install it.
I tried to install it as a normal apk. I am on stock 4.3 and not rooted. Does the apk need to be ported? I can attach the apk if any one wanted to check the apk.
The weather widget is really wonderful and the sony provided weather widget is no match for it.
