Avoided poor internet connection

It started today. Everytime I try to connect to my WiFi connection, it goes in a loop of connecting and disconnecting and finally it says "Avoided poor internet connection". After I click connect, the signal drops from maximum to 1 bar. I'm on Arconium ICS, but I've been using CM9 before and I had the same problem (that's why I switched to Arconium). This issue seems to be present in all the ICS ROMs. Any idea to fix it?

Can someone help me? basically the same thing as the guy who opened the thread but the wifi fix isnt working :/

There is another solution made by Mike Duskis at android.stackexchange.com/questions/22848/what-does-avoided-poor-internet-connection-mean (xda forums won't let me post the whole link). The solution involves deleting the files inside folder /data/misc/dhcp

Assign Fixed IP address
Hey i had the same problem on both Stock Rom and CM9...i did delete the files in the DHCP folder...but the problem kept showing up every few days....but i solved it completely by assigning a fixed IP address to the network...on both the router and phone

so this is it

Your mobile operator : XL,simPATI (dual gsm)
A dump of system log messages. what message?
Your ROM information : sorry i dont know,but i use stock rom
What you've done and what's not working : turn of wifi and turn it on,do same with the router,wipe data (phone) , reflashing,and use your apps :crying:

We cannot help for such devices here. You might want to visit device-specific forum or visit the main Q&A of xda-developers.

Turn off WiFi setting
What has worked on several of my android devices and my Win 8 computer is:
go to "Settings" and turn off the wifi. Wait 30 seconds.
Turn it back on and most devices will quickly connect.
A simple fix for the devices in my house. Good luck!

[Q] Help with wifi not working after flashing 4.3 rom

I used KFU to flash this rom and everything works fine except wifi.
I cannot find any networks other than the one i put in at setup. Please help me get this working!

My wifi is not working either. It keeps cutting in and out.

[Q] No cellular and USB Mass Storage

Hello!
Some time ago I flashed my One X with latest stable CM11 build. I installed it on latest Hboot, unlocked bootloader and S-ON. Wiped data, all partritions, flashed boot.img from zip. Everything seems to be right but I got two problems:
1) USB connection not working (when I connect phone to PC, it don't respond as storage device (fastboot and others work fine))
2) There's no cellular connection (browser gets somekind of proxy error, only working app is Instagram, everything else doesn't work)
Please help me. What should I start from? The phone was unlocked from Orange, if it matters.

for 1) Turn off USB debuging and then connect the phone to a comuter.
for 2) I don't have idea why this happend

Are you have voice call working or all signal is gone. If all is gone check if you see your IMEI

Everything works. SMS, calls... But mobile data is not propertly working.

Wifi issues

Is anyone else having problems with connectingto the wifi my phone will not connect to it and everything else I have is connected and working just fine and I did everything I could to make it work by resetting the phone and everything is there a fix or anything I can do to make it work ??

No I just did the normal phone update and it isn't working now and I don't know what to do should I try downgrading the phone?

Run the s-on ruu and see if it starts working. With wipe

What I have is almost like lag, say I go into an app the requires a login, it usually doesn't connect the first or second time. Then it does, probably firmware related as the Bluetooth is wonky too

WiFi broked

Hello guys, a year ago I tried root my phone and got bricked. After 2 weeks I finally fixed and came back to the stock rom. Since that day my WiFi is not connecting.
I'm able to search and find any network, but when insert the password, the phone try to connect, the signal go down, the message "connecting" appear, and after that appear as "saved" but not connected. I already tried to define a static IP address, but didn't work.
Can I broke the wifi firmware when tried to root for the first time?
Someone have an idea on what is going on?

Follow the unbrick guide method 2. Make sure you follow it right.. Don't skip any parts because it doesn't work. Don't see how you bricked the phone by flashing SuperSU but okay..

See if wiping system,flashing firmware, flashing rom, gapps, root works..

Hmm, if that and the unbrick isn't working then you might want to ask yourself it something is broken. Does it connect to other networks?

No I ve used several different hotspots to connect. The strange thing is that mobile data are working.

If that doesn't work try to flash ex kernel if i remember it correctly it changes something with wifi to.
If that doesn't work then It's broken or you can fix it by doing something else but dont know what, Good luck
