I notice that a few people are having issues with Screen Mirroring to Samsung Smart Tv's... But I didn't see one for the Note 2 so I am posting.
I have a i317m Note 2 rooted on Android 4.3 software. I bought a Samsung 60 inch TV with screen mirroring capability but every time I try to use it, it crashes on my phone with a hardware error. It doesn't give me any error code other than "hardware error". Could this be a rooting issue?
I plan on unrooting and reformatting my phone but I'm curious if there's a fix for it before I do that...
Any ideas?
Could be the root. I know for a long time a lot of video apps wouldn't run on rooted phones because of the possibility of screen recording. Worth a try anyways
I've bought a Galaxy tab pro 8.4 around three months ago and I am pleased with it except for one thing. Some games like Real Racing 3 crash randomly after some time while others like Real Boxing freeze when booting.Ezcast freezes too and crash problem seems to happen with YouTube app.Is there a way to fix this? Will cyanogenmod help?Is it software or hardware error? Thanks in advance
I have a stock Rom Samasung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (4.4.2). The YouTube app loses the player controls when watching videos in full screen. I do not have this issue with my Galaxy S5 smartphone (also 4.4.2).
Is anyone else experiencing this or have a fix?
Same problem. I have Tab Pro 10.1 LTE with stock rom (4.4.2)
Same problem on my Tab S 8.4. Seems to be the latest version of Youtube. Reverting to the previous version fixes the problem.
Same here with my Tab pro 8.4, I even did the firmware update and still have the problem

This worked for me thank you!
Unistalled the app (which actually keeps the app but takes away the update. Now my player controls are back when in full screen view.
Possible workaround
I read elsewhere of a workaround that seems to be successful for some folk using the updated app. The You Tube controls are not showing when you enter full screen in landscape mode. But users have found that when you enter full screen in portrait mode, the controls are there, and remain visible if you then rotate to landscape mode.
Latest YouTube update seems to have fixed the bug.
I have had my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite for just over a month now. Just in the past couple of days the screen has been going haywire. I can set it down and it will just randomly open apps, settings, anything!, without me touching the screen. I have a screen protector on it and have removed it and it still has the same issue even after a good cleaning.
Any ideas on what the problem is?
