- Ensure phone is rooted and either CWM or TWRP recovery installed and working
- Make sure you have a safe copy of your phones unique EFS partition on your computer
- Perform a full backup of your current installation
- Download and copy zip to phone storage
- Reboot into recovery
- Wipe Cache and Dalvik cache

What do you mean?
I installed your rom but i have problems such as no notification bar at all (battery,signals etc nothing appears) and can't set wallpaper (the screensaver is black not blue like your screenshots above.
edit:When I left phone to close the screen by itself ande then try to open it again it goes into bootloop.
Sorry but I'LL go back to my CM11...too bad and i liked it very much,felt smooth as long as i tried it.

Opertion Killjoy wouldnt cause problems.... it is just for speed...

No... The i9000 doesnt have a working Samsung Music app on Cstom ROM's

Move BadgeProvider.apk and SecLauncher.apk from system/app to system/priv-app and you will be able to add widgets fine
what does operation killjoy actually do? Disables / removes what to make the ROM faster? I am asking just by curiosity, as it's not already integrated in the ROM and comes as an optional patch. Ty, and GJ !

Hi guys, I've got it right to enable ART on the new B506 CN Firmware!
Wait how..?
Well, when Huawei said they wont give us ART since it is too unstable, they were to lazy to edit the source code, so all they did was hide the "select_runtime" section in Smali. - Unfortunately for them PulseDroid knows Smali.
They've also modified:
Code:
libart.so
libart-compiler.so
core-libart.jar
To act as if they are complete, but it's basically unfinished code.
So what I did was recompile those three from www.github.com/android and edited the development settings smali to show the option in settings.
How to get ART
Don't flash this after a clean install, Settings.apk will stop, since it will be the first time loading the ROM and won't recognize the change in apk's. Flash the ROM first, go through the setup, then reboot at flash this.

Make sure your device is on B506, it will crash other versions.
Download this zip
Flash the zip via TWRP
Reboot
It will say "Android is upgrading", two apps will upgrade.
Go to Settings -> About -> tap Build number seven ( 7 ) times.
Go to Settings -> Developer options -> Select runtime -> Select ART
Reboot ( Boot will take some time )
It will say "Android is upgrading" and upgrade all of the apps ( This will take some time )
Seriously it uses a modified Settings.apk / Provider.apk if you flash this on a Rom not based on B506 you will have problems.

I wouldn't be able to say if this is Placebo, but it feels really, really fast. NOTE:- Benchmarks wont show improvement since they test Dalvik, not art!

It didn't work here either, I recompiled some stuffs to make it work. - I don't yet know how stable it is, haven't used it long enough.
Although I agree it is not quite perfect yet, I think the reason Huawei keeps this from us could be linked to the same reasons we have slow performance, no LTE even tough we could, etc.

I don't know why is hidden, but it work like a charm! It just FLY! Browser is opening and loading Facebook in just 2 sec. and this is when so many other apps are started!

As said before I don't know yet, will check and report back.
But seriously now, I am wondering why it is so much faster, could this have been the P6 problem all along? Bad Dalvik support or something.. hmm.

For me the results are not spectacular. I didn't seen any changes in speed. In games it is a litlle better but not more.
Maybe do another restart of the system or wipe cash?

Installation:
1 -. Sure you have the latest version of TWRP or CWM installed, if you have installed the update recommend TWRP or CWM
2.- Put the ROM on the phone's internal memorial
3.- Reboot in recovery mode
4.- Wipe System, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik-Cache and Wipe Data (only for new installations) Data coming from Cyanogen if 11 is not necessary if Wipe cache and dalvik
5.- Install ROM
6.- Reboot

Outlook and bugs CM 11 M8 is stock themed and it has less bugs since it has somehow as clear code as this ROM.

Install via TWRP.
You must be on KitKat ROM.
How to install:
DOWNLOAD and copy into SD card
-boot into TWRP recovery: wipe dalvik cache, data, cache, custom storage, system;
-from TWRP install from external SD and flash
-after setting up google account and wireless, when screen appears, go to: SETTINGS---MANAGE APPS--ALL-----CONTACTS--and click on CLEAR CACHE, CLEAR DATA AND FORCE STOP (in order to activate correct call display of city and country) --NO NEED TO REBOOT --after that try to dial contact and you will see under number-city or country;
also you can call your number from another phone but don't answer and you will see how many times phone rang on missed call;
- for ACTIVATE HIDE NAVIGATION BAR: open SQLITE EDITOR --on top choose FILES------then clik on DATA----USER---0---COM.ANDROID.PROVIDERS.SETTINGS---DATABASES----SETTINGS.DB-----SYSTEM---on top click on + to add new row......under NAME type hide_virtual_key ...under VALUE type 1 ....SAVE ....REBOOT PHONE

better GPS, WIFI direct. If you have repack b634...go to system update and you'll see b635 update and the list of improvements....but you cannot install it while you are on repack b634....i made this repack with b635 update in it.

just install root uninstaller apk (green android icon) from play store and remove google apps you don't need..and yes..b634 is great..but for me it was anoying to see update notification for b635 on status bar...it's no difference between b634 and b635

A lot of people complain about new version, B635. they say that is unstable, it has a lots of conflicts between the drivers and between regions. The icons are deleted at restart. They even say this is not a new firmwarw, is just an update for B634.
It's this true?

if update b634 is installed without part 2, and then updated to b635 (witch is a small update), when revert to ART runtime, then is a big problem with all this things mentioned by you (icons disapearing, region etc.) . This repack solve this issues. ART works perfect.
Only complains until now are that the only few operators are not listed in cust and they don't have access to mobile data APN (ex. Wind operator italy, South Africa MTN operator)-I will try to fix this.
Othewise no other complains or problems. I'm waiting for comments.

It's the same...update b635 brings improvements regarding gps and wifi direct
I will install it this evening and I will be back with a small review.
First bug: when I play a game (Clash of Clans, Galaxy Legend, etc) and somebody calls, I can't answer at that call and I receive an error message. 3 times happened in 14 hours.

I don't have any problem with playing games and answering....maybe you have to many apps running in background while playing....I tested a few minutes ago clash of clans and calling.
I've found, instead, a bug with skype ...when tried to send video message... suddenly exit to message field...but only newest version of skype...the older one works ok.
I have the b634 for a week.
And i can say its the best rom ever great battery fast the only thing i make its delete google apps
