I flashed monirom kitkat rom in my nokia xl.it works well but camera and screen bug issues are there.The camera patch by aguys is not working.I repleaced the camera lib files.someone tell me exactly what has to be done.and someone also tell me a way to solve the screen bug.please provide a solution as soon as possible.

Hey, bro m using it on my Nokia XL RM-1030. Fantatstikk ROM. NO BUGS. Here is what i did....
1)Install the minirom KIKTKAT wannabe ROM with TWRP recovery
2)then install Nokia XL patch(STABLE) (It was in Lewa os thread i guess!!!!???)(for screen bug) from TWRP
3)then for camera bug simply flash the patch(in LEWA ROM OP thread) by Aguys (THANKS man) from TWRP
NOTE: after each steps, do a clean reboot. Also note that after flashing the NOKIA XL patch(STABLE) you will loose the softkeys
navbar. But dont worry u can enable it with a simple tweak in build.prop.
Incase i helped u......u know what to do.....

the latest updates is full rom not ota but heres the instructions.download latest lewa rom @OS5v4 then select install zip from sd and clear cache and dalvik cache only and become a buggy one

well i just saw some1 wrote that he got an update via wifi and he's asking what changed in the rom...
+ u mean if i dont clear cash + dalvik i get buggy rom?

well..... u can try that also. Actually u better do all the steps with MIUI first. In case things don't work out........ try TWRP.

I did it with twrp bro.everything worked just so fine.

the latest update has become buggy.wifi on infinite reboot.cant play videos sometimes.status bar doesnt show switches and sometimes doesnt get cliked.better to stay with v3

Well......i don't exactly remember....but i guess i already tried this method on cm11. But after flashing the NOKIA XL pathch(STABLE)
it failed to boot and showed weird screens.But still u can give it a shot.....u might get lucky(let me know). Also, i think this minirom Kitkat is good enough with lots of system tweaks available.

Exactly what yu got.The same wierd Screen flashes here in my XL.Is there any possibility of porting or patching cm11 so that i can use it in my XL ?

ihave Nokia XL and i installed Lewa OS 5.1 ROM. all things works perfect exept camera.

just flash the camera patch by Aguys from recovery. (LEWA OS thread.....page no.44, post #433)
IN CASE I HELPED YOU.....U KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Nokia XL camera problem.
Just patched my nokia xl with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55874546&postcount=433 tech virrus patch now camera works but Focus is not accurate and application crashes while deleting any photo from camera.

[PLAY STORE UPDATABLE] Camera & Gallery from Moto For CM12.x

Hey Guys,
There's an updated version of the app, with the exposition regulation on the focus 'thing'.
Guys, i need you to test a thing. See if the apps will update from play store. Because i found here a flashable zip that promised cam and gallery updating from store. So i used the zip and incremented my zip. Thx to @prashant13b for the amazing work. (Buy him a beer, plz...)

No you will have to reflash it every time you update the ROM ...

The gallery app doesnt flash. Only the camera flashes. Im on Moto G GPE 5.1. Please help. Desperately want the Gallery app..

Well i did get it to work. Ran out of system memory, which was not allowing the app to get copied in the /system folder. Deleted a few system app(google books,movies amd music) and it flashed like a charm.

No, you have to use stock Motorola ROM to have Slow motion recording available. This feature is probably buried somewhere at Motorola's framework. I also wanted slow motion recording, and found out that it doesn't work with any custom ROM, and that it doesn't work with stock GPE ROMs either. So again - only stock Motorola ROMs.

the front camera is working fine but if i switch to external sdcard it says "please insert sdcard..."
so saving to sdcard is still problem

for me to save the image, the camera stops working.

Btw, on pacrom, bluetooth stopped working, you facing any issue there?
EDIT - Bluetooth not working for me on cm11 too. Before flashing the fix, it works, but after flashing it, camera is working and bluetooth is not.

It's most probably because of the changes in the build.prop. It appears to me that this fix replaces the build.prop with the stock rom's build.prop. So we just need to find out the lines which are actually responsible for fixing the crash, and copy those lines into the cm11 build.prop.
Btw, @pvnsai73 , what changes have you exactly made in the camera libs? I have spent many hours trying to find the source of the problem, without success. I also noticed that the mm-camera sometimes fails while clicking a picture which causes the camera to freeze occasionally while clicking a picture.

So I extracted the build.prop from the cm11 zip, copied all its contents, and pasted them in the current build.prop(after flashing the cam fix). And guess what? IT WORKED ?
Now I have both camera and bluetooth working.
Crazy right?

by all , you mean really all? copied to the bottom? can you share your build.prop

I found another problem after using this cam fix... i coulnt find my superuser menu in settings anymore and seems the the root permission/prompt is broken anyone having same issue?

you must flash supersu zip after flashing cam fix..

I tried to take the it after flashing OOS 2.2.0, but it's a pain to install and doesn't work well. I have a FC when switching camera, I have to relaunch app and it works but can't take picture with front camera.

It's not as easy as it looks/sounds. i have it in my CM12.1 from MA, but as soon as you change the camera mode, it crashes (force closes) and when you reopen it, it's still in the default mode

Just copied from the apk. I somehow assumed that OOS and H2OS share the same base and apps are sharable.

This wont work on cm12.1

battery drain is normal like motion rom. use greenify donation package and uninstall some unnecessary apps using any system app uninstaller otherwise perforamnce syestem ui are pretty good

i cant understand you
camera is working for most of users
rom based on lollipop same as motion rom but ui etc are changed and some of mods of camera are not working you can flash camera fix . i will not sugeest any camera fix do it on your own risk
