I've seen many peoples accidentally formatted his nokia x when he connected his phone to the PC and then the PC requested for format.

If you have the prompt above just after you connect the phone,
DO NOT FORMAT IT
that is the bootloader partition, and if your format it your phone will die and the only solution is repair to Nokia Care.
and also,
DO NOT USE FLASHIFY
Flashify does many bricks on Nokia X too, I saw some people flashed boot partition using Flashify and then boom! the Nokia X not booting anymore. Flashify replaced your bootloader with the boot.img then you lose the bootloader. the only solution is also going to Nokia Care.
Mods: Please stick this thread if you want
thanks AngSanley for this ! :good:
:crying: unfortunately, I am 2 weeks late from this *warning* of yours.. I'm new to Android and Nokia X was my first device (iOS user for a very long time) carelessly formatted that partition bricked my phone the same day I purchased it.
My phone would be exactly 2 weeks in the hands of Nokia Care on Wednesday. Hopefully I can get it back by then.
Nokia will honor my warranty, right? I just insisted to them that after updating to stock Nokia 1.1.2.2 ROM it just won't turn ON.. Never mentioned anything about flashing custom ROMS, Recovery, etc etc.

This method is basically same as the normal stock rom flashing tut, EXCEPT the way you get into Download Mode as your phone is HARD BROKEN.
1. Download all the files required in the "SOFT BRICKS" Prob, (Just Google that).
2. Remove everything from your phone (SD card, sim, battery).
3. Plug your phone into your computer WITHOUT the battery.
4. Press and HOLD vol. up and vol. down.
5. As you are HOLDING these buttons, reattach your battery.
6. You should be in Download Mode.
7. Now flash ur Stock rom via odin...
Hurrahhhhh..................
Have u tried this?

I rooted the stock OS with SPH-D710_FL24_CL1173404_REV2_Rooted_Nodata.exe and everything worked fine. Then I installed MobileODINLite-v3.85.apk and did the SXTP_Agat_FL24-v0.4.0.tar flash, and upon reboot, the OS loaded up fine, but after a minute the OS would lock up and the phone would then reboot on it's own, and it just keeps doing that no matter what. I've already tried going back into recovery and wiping cache and dalvik, no change. What should I do?
BTW, I'm a noob to smartphones, the reason I was doing all this is because I can't transfer any files to the internal USBStorage folder either by KiesAir or by physical connection to the pc, I just get a transfer failed error. I was trying to make a recovery so I could load a custom ROM (dirty unicorns) in hopes that this would fix the problem. Also I don't think taking this phone to Boost for a replacement is an option, since I bought this phone used from the previous owner. HELP! =(
Look guys, I'm not someone who is too lazy to use google. A week ago I didn't even know how to use this device. I've tried looking around but I'm gonna need someone to point me in the right direction, so seriously? 33 views and nobody can at least do that to help me?

What I would do is download the GB27 Rooted Odin here-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1903252
And update to JB and maybe that might fix some of your problems. You can get into Download Mode by pulling the battery and replacing it and holding Power+Vol Down.

There is a defect in the device manufacturers have been replaced.
Sorry Nokia X did not achieve my ambition
Thanks to everyone who tried to help.
Not like it was already telegraphed, but this probably marks the official end of support for our venerable Find 7.
Thoughts? Comments? Anyone surprised at this point?

an end to what little support it had..and no, it's not surprising.
No loss really, their ROMs were never any good. Mine is on Nougat thanks to OmniROM but I went back to my Huawei Mate 7 as a daily driver for a while, now moved on to the Axon 7.
A collection of 7's ?
The Find 7 is being passed down to my eldest daughter. It stays on non modded Omni 7.1 and will look to sell the Mate 7, fantastic phone, just that I wanted dual 4G SIMs, thus the Axon. I offered the Mate to my wife but she said no, too big and will stick with her Oppo F1f.
The Axon is flying well under the radar IMO. Very good phone. Mine is on official and non modded Nougat. Waiting to see if Oreo comes.
The Find 7 and F1f are the only Oppo's I will ever buy, never again. Won't buy a One Plus either.

Do you need yet from some stock room(OPPO Find7a) and recovery image files?
While Oppo's support for the Find 7[a] was beyond appalling, there were some knowledgeable guys on that forum whose posts helped me more than once.
One of them save my Find 7 from eternal loop...
God blessi him! I own him some beers!

It appears to get to the part where it starts to load the OS. In this case try to get into recovery. If you can get into recovery, great! Then just adb sideload the latest ROM from OnePlus.
