Interesting question who can answer it - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I have a few s3's all att. They have all been worked on beofer with frame swaps. I was wondering where you can find the original color at.
I have tried swappa
i have tried imei info
they all show up as blue even my phone and it is white and i have never had my phone worked on.
I like the imeiinfo for iphones cause it tells you white or black, or whatever color. But i cant find anything that tells me the original color of the samsung phones.
Thanks in advance.
Scott

Try etradesupply.com if you seen Erica Griffen on YouTube this is where she buys her parts

I've been using the Zagg Sparq for the past year and a half and it works great. Last year's model (ehich is the one I'm using) works very well. Actually starting Monday, there all 50% off. Take a looks at zagg.com. Get a warranty as well. Sent mine back after 1 year about a month ago. They sent a brand new one at no charge.

Game grips for Android?

Hi xda friends.
I'm wondering if there are any universal "game grips" on the market that would work with our Android toys. It seems there are nearly a hundred of these floating around for iPhones, but I've yet to see any that would work for our larger screens. Attached are some examples of what I'm talking about (bottom pic minus the controls).

Never seen those things before, but they could be really useful! Many type of games are simply unplayable with a touchscreen only. I at least have a real hardware-keyboard on my Sony Xperia Mini Pro, so this is an improvement to regular smartphones at least. But a real grip and gamepad-like buttons would make gaming much better.

This one looks awesome!
GameKlip with a PS3 controller
Not bad as well If you have the applicable smartphone at least. I don't like the solution with extra cases and adhesive tape for other devices though...
Yeah, PS3 doesn't work with the DNA. Rooted/sixaxis or not. I have a gameklip and it sits unused.

Actually, I don't think "Game Grips" is useful...

[Q] Gnex especial employees phone

Hi there gnex conunity , i'm planning to upgrade to a gnex Phone , my question is because some guy claims that he haves a gnex that google gives to their employees, could it be a scam? The pictures shows an gnex battery backdoor with some painting like it was some sort of circuits with a little android, now assuming that the above mentioned is in fact possible, would be any kind of trouble for me to use it as a regular gnex?
I have done a little research but none of the designs match the one he posted (see attached file)

Broken Back Glass replacement

Unfortunately my back glass broke and I was wondering if any one knows of a supplier that sells them or if you know how much Sprint would charge me. I don't have insurance

You can get the back pieces from Amazon they're reasonably priced and there are tutorials on YouTube on how to replace it.
I bought custom ones for 3 or 4 bucks. Since its already broke use a hair dryer to heat it up. Cant break it any worse. I was in this same situation they also make plastic ones. They scratch easier of coarse but eliminate they breaking again. This is a simple fix no need for insuarances or anything like that

Straight Talk S3 Broken Screen

My Grandson was given an S3 968c and the first day he broke the screen taking it out of the case that would have protected it, So I've been looking at screen replacements' and they seem to be as much as the phone was new , we got it for $99.00 and the replacements are about $66.00 bucks I've looked around and can buy a verizen for a lot cheaper but I don't know if it will work.I'm not sure I think it's carried on verizen it's using straight talk as the carrier. Has anyone run in to this issue and what screen's can be used... Thank's

So unless I am mistaken, your LCD is still intact. All you need to repair is the Lens Glass. They come in kits and tend to be universal and cost anywhere between $5 and $10 for the repair kit. As Example:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Repl...qid=1466173519&sr=8-2&keywords=s3+galaxy+lens
There are many sources for these kits.
