Hello, I recently have un successfully rooted my GTab... I had bricked it and then un bricked it and now it wont let me turn Wifi on. When I select it, it turns itself off. Along with all this it wont connect to Sprints network either. The SIM is inserted correctly. All help is appreciated and if someone could link me to a good tutorial on how to properly root my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Sprint model SM-T217S that would be sweet. Thanks so much and have a great day.

I've been using an S4 for about 2 weeks now, no problem. Last night I realized a text I sent never went through, and today my lock screen says "No Service" or "Searching" (despite the device showing full signal). I can't send/receive calls or texts, and I don't use a data connection. This SIM is also new (~2 weeks), and the device is neither rooted nor running a custom ROM. I've tried everything I could think of, like:
reboot
pull battery and SIM
confirmed APN settings on t-mobile site
tried alternate, non-"LTE" APN (epc tmobile com)
tried every network mode setting (GSM, GSM/WCDMA, etc.)
reset APN to default
turned on mobile data connection
manually scanned for networks (wouldn't connect to AT&T or T-mo)
select network automatically (wouldn't connect)
complete factory reset
I tried my SIM in another T-mo phone and it works; tried a different SIM in my S4 and it doesn't work. All other T-mo phones in my household are working fine. My S4 is definitely the problem here, but I don't see how the radio would just stop working after 2 weeks.
Has anyone else experienced/seen this? I never have, and it's driving me up a wall. I'm going to try my local T-mo store tomorrow, but I was hoping to fix it before then. Any help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I purchased the phone new on ebay. For a minute I thought the seller might have reported the phone stolen, but I checked the IMEI and it's clean.
Ive experience this but my service came back in about 25 minutes I did reset reboot battery pull sim pull it just came back on its own

So I finally got to T-mobile today. Unfortunately, my hunch was right: the IMEI is blacklisted. Their in-house system must be more up to date than their web IMEI checker.
Time to solve this issue elsewhere.
hello everyone, its been long since i am facing this issues (i have a workaround to tackle this issue but cant do it everytime)
as soon as i rooted tab 3 7.0 (SM T211) it started showing that there is no sim card to turn on the mobile network but calling worked pretty fine
i thought i might try different rom but not luck and on the top of that it now shows my vodafone carrier as hutch :/
can any one help me with this..?
the workaround i found is
i have to set my mobile data connection to only gsm then restart the tab if lucky it will show the vodafone in in the carrier space and then i have to change from just gsm to auto mode (gsm and wdcma)
but the problem with this is, if i restart...i have to do everything again and while in the middle of a call or surfing net on 3g, the connection drops and goes back to hutch :/

Hey guys, as the title says I have no service on my Samsung Galaxy 551. My service provider is Telus
and When I first got my phone it was working fine, I have rooted my phone and installed multiple ROMS.
Since it came with Froyo I have upgraded it to Gingerbread> HoneyComb> ICS> JB> KK.
The service only works when I turn on airplane mode and turn it off, then I can use the service for
about 15 mins before it Goes either No Service or Emergency Calls Only. My IMEI Number is
perfectly intact as it is the same # shown on the back of my phone cover. I am not sure why this is happening

Hey guys i bought a used note 3 off my buddy and unlocked it. Its originally an at&t phone but now im using tmobile sim card. making calls and wifi work but when i turn the wifi off i have no internet. Ive done a factory reset and still nothing.. can someone pls help

Perhaps you simply ran out of data with whatever plan you have on Tmobile.
Or perhaps you should call Tmobile and ask them why you have no data.
You need data to get internet without wifi.
What ever the problem is, it has nothing to
do with the fact that the phone is unlocked.
Set up apns? Stock they will only have att apn you'll need to manually add tmobile and select it
Hi, my dad is having a problem with his galaxy sm-t211 that I can't seem to find a fix for, I haven't even been able to find mention of it. His tab is unlocked. He is using his fido SIM chip with it. He gets data fine, but it is constantly in roaming mode. Even when I turn roaming off, it says that he has lost network connectivity because he is out of his home cellular network. Does anyone know if this issue is fixable. Maybe by flashing a modem for this region or something? Any and all help appreciated, thanks
