[Q] Custom Rom for SM-T325

Any rom deodexed,rooted,zippalign.... that works on Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 LTE version (SM-T325) ????

I think it is due to lack of information. I read in the Clean ROM thread that it should be simple with most of the hardware being the same, but the dev has the WIFI version, so he would need someone to provide the LTE mount points and willing to test

I'm pissed all Samsung crap they put in rom. I do not buy any samsung device, until it has good support on XDA!

I havent see any roms for LTE version, do you think we will get anyone to develop that sort of rom?

I have a very basic rom I was working on until I broke my screen that u guys can try...nothing but the knox apps have been removed so anything else u don't want will need to be deleted directly from the zip or uninstalled after flash (I'm sure u can find a list of whats safe to remove somewhere on the site). This package has been deodexed & zipaligned but that's about it...u will probably need to re-root after u flash & also MAY need to wipe data but that shouldn't be necessary. For those of u brave enough to test...could someone please check the status of selinux after they flash & report back if enforcing is still set or not. As an added bonus...4 way multiwindow also known as quad view from the note pro 12.2 has been enabled, along with lockscreen shortcuts as well as multiuser & I also added the assistive widget flashlight back but it only shows up in the widget drawer NOT in the homescreen add widget list for some reason

^ORIGINAL KERNEL (the included one was modified in attempt to disable selinux as well as implement init.d but I'm a noob so I think both expermints failed but I couldn't test thoroughly with my cracked lcd to be honest...just replace the boot.img in the root of the zip with this one to return to stock kernel if u encounter any issues)

Sorry, I am a noob and I dont know how to flash boot.img. I want to flash it in order to solve recovery seandroid is not enforcing issue.

Any Custom Roms For the GT T325 in the Near Future?

Hey, i just purchased the Galaxy Tab Pro T325, after looking into Flashing Custom Rom i came to find out there isn't any out, needles to say this is a GREAT device and would have thought to see several cooked up by know, what would be Awesome in my opinion would be a Custom Rom made from the Source of the Latest Galaxy S5, if its possible, that would be hot. i have the note 3 Running a Custom Rom From HyperDrive (Big Up to Them, Best Rom so far for the Note 3), its based off the S5 and its OFF the HOOK. Just a thought, will be here Patiently waiting, cause i love this device..!!!!!

I asked me the same. I changed from the Tab3 8.0 lte to the t325 and the only customs i found are for the wifi version.
The T325 is really the outstandinged Tab out there.
I had from nexus7, nexus7 2013, Acer, note8 every tab that reads good at the specs.
But this great tab is perfect.
I rooted it and and changed all things that are possible with xposed. Thats a good deal at the moment.
Not everybody would pay this price for a tablet.

This package has been deodexed & zipaligned but that's about it...u will probably need to download "supersu" & which will ask u to update the"su" binary (just select "normal" method when prompted) after u flash. As an added bonus...4 way multiwindow also known as quad view from the note pro 12.2 has been enabled, along with lockscreen shortcuts as well as multiuser & I also added the assistive widget flashlight back but it only shows up in the widget drawer NOT in the homescreen add widget list for some reason. Also...i have included a fix for using the screen mirroring function (please thank @esgie) with a custom kernel/recovery & enabled the art runtime in the developer options (although this has NOT been tested yet & does NOT work with xposed or deodexed roms which basically deafeats the purpose)

Truly appreciate it, it beats a BLANK, and thats what i can really use right now, something to lighten the load a bit.... Again sorry to read about the situation your going through with your device, i know it felt like a stab in the chest when it cracked on you, i would have call the company i purchased it from and caused a scandal that would have made them send me a new one... I just received your message with your Custom Rom included for our Lovely T325, Im so excited to get this Rom Fired up on my device, Im downloading it as I write this Response, Will definitely Let you know how everything goes once I run it for a Few, Thanks again my Friend, your THE MAN..!!! I have my fingers crossed that this one boots up, I want a Custom Rom So bad that i tried flashing the Wifi only Versions on the 8.4 section hoping it would have boot, the worse i expected was not having 4g/LTE, however it FAILED, didnt even Boot... lol. :cyclops:

Just finished flashing and it booted up, all is well thus Far, Seems to be running smoothly, i will Mess with it for a couple of Days to see how it goes, is there anything i should know or do..? What would be cool is if we can some how flash the transparent weather clock thats on the Note 3, would that be possible..? If theres anything else you need tested Im here, and i was wondering what is that other file you posted in your message, it stated something about Kernel "boot (1).img"..? And ilso was wondering how your device is coming along, i think i read that you Found the lCD & Digitizer you need , did you finally find it, if so how much did it set you back..? ok, thanks again I'll definitely keep in touch, if we can Hook this device to the MAX that'll be AWSOME. )))

Missing applications!!

I just see me there has LG applications, such as video, LGHealth, LGVideoEditor ... are no longer visible on the screen home after being passed version V10E-GLOBAL-SI, yet by going to the file system / app are installed? could someone help me? thank you in advance

I thought an Android Central review of the Sprint version posted something about this.. I don't have those Apps on the Sprint version in the launcher, I think they said you have to access them through the special launcher page and if you remove the page there is no way to use them. Maybe the firmware update for your version is simply bringing that same setup to your version?
Seems kind of silly though.

I come from a rom V10A-sea-xx and suddenly no 4g, so I flashed the rom V10E-GLOBAL-SI but I do not see a lg application, on the Home phone

I think they are reviewing US versions and in some cases the Sprint version in particular which seems to have an updated firmware over most other U.S. carriers.. so its possible your EU version got patched and they removed the icons for yours now as well.

Hello I'm not too knowledgeable in this... Right now I'm running 4.4.2... I was looking for a stable option in MM that could be rooted... Doesn't that exist?

I have had my Tab Pro rooted and running a Rom since I bought it. I just Rooted and Installed the above ROM on my Wife's Tab Pro last weekend. Took me less than 30 minutes to have everything done and she LOVES the new ROM.

It would be helpful to everyone, including yourself if you were to give us a clue as to which Device you were inquiring about. As there are multiple versions of the Tab Pro, across many different sizes. It would also be helpful if you noted wether or not your Device has additional LTE, or is of the simpler WiFi ONLY variety.
That said the T320 (8.4" WiFi), is the (or was the...), best supported Device of the Family. Which had full CyanogenMod Support.
The T325 (8.4" LTE), OtOH never enjoyed any official Support, but, has otherwise Steller Support the whole time.
As for the others I can not speak on matters of which I know not, others will have to step up for the T52x (Tab Pro 10.2"), or the T90x (Tab Pro 12.2"), but I gather those were also working fine.
But, to answer your question, from the viewpoint of a T325 Owner. I find CM-13.0 to be very stable, and quick, and there are no issues worth reporting. 'Cause everything is working.

I could not fix it quickly... try to use 3rd party lock screens for example.
I dont remember if it works on tab s2 port. I dont use lock screen

I've been (as you know) using your other tab / marshmallow port quite happily. What's the difference between it and this rom? Downloading anway... heck, I just realized the camera probably works in this version (not like I need it to, frankly).

It's hard to compare because these two roms has one goal - make clean and stable daily firmware, but there two ways to achieve it.
It has working camera here. Some bugs with hwcomposer are solved here. I couldn't solve them in tab s2 port.
This rom should be more battery friendly
it has blue light filter but without any settings. Simple, but working.
It's not significally faster than tab s2 rom.
This rom has more possibilities for me to edit features and fix bugs. Maybe in future someone make more custom rom on this base.
And, of course, new bugs added

Well, I'm now running it. The camera appears quite nice, with settings that work well (though one did tell me it wasn't enabled or something). Just a quick fly-through on the camera so far... My next thing is to install that soundcamp app again.

One odd thing... this may have nothing to do with your port and everything to do with the original rom. But though the Samsung Galaxy app allows everying else to work just like it would on a factory tablet, the Hancom Office install is missing... all of it, anyway, except two files which are useless without the main office apps (Word, Spreadsheet, and so forth). Not a big deal, as I use Officesuite Pro anyway... but liked having a second editor option with Hancom Word. Ah, and found a copy later tonight of Hancom I'd backed up... it installed w/o incident so I'm all good.
That's all I know.

The s-pen pop-up wheel is nice on this rom. It has a feature I don't recall on the old Lollipop touchwiz called "Screen Write" -- it takes a snap of whatever's on the screen, then allows scribbling all over it with the s-pen. You can then crop or save the pic if desired. Here's a quick example (see attached photo):

Will be watching this thread for future development. Happy with your other S2 port for now though

T900
As I thought, this rom can be flashed into T900 just like other P900 roms since they share hardware. (Rotation and Vibration doesn't work just like other p900 rom due to driver differance)
Is there any way to root this rom? Im trying to use it as daily driver. I also love the speed of this rom. Thanks!!

what Google security update is this firmware built on?
I have issues with some of the newer ones, new limitations / prohibitions

any chance in future updates of backporting the note pro's multi window framework?
1. the old sidescreen tray with configurations and pairing is far superior to the "new" method of using half the screen to only select from a list (easier, faster, and most importantly doesn't require subjecting foreground app to being cached/minimized)
2. the "new" method resizing of pop up windows only works diagonally -- where as note pro framework can resize up/down, left/right, and diagonal.
Samsung is really going backwards these days ;(

i installed this rom just now.. but..
in this rom, usb debugging dosen't work either..
in adb tools, if i input "adb devices", it output "unauthorized".. :crying:
(i already set Developer options - USB debugging enabled.. but doesn't work)
