Gotcha, as they come along maybe some folks would be kind enough to share some of their battery mods here as well. I have a ton but they all need to be resized. I think I used 54x54 sizes for the images used in this mod.
For anyone that needs to batch resize png files:
FastStone Photo Resizer
For batch renaming a bunch of files at once:

Pulldown images are typically sized for the screen resolution.
The S5 is 1080 x 1920 pixels I believe but I also flashed a pulldown from my S3 and it looked just fine so I think the phone adapts the image on its own. You guys experiment and figure it out. I'm just an old fart without the energy to do much theming.

Here's my first I just made quick for personal use..
Clean white circle with red for low battery and charging so it's more noticeable at those times.. Made it using this tool just to try it out. I added Roboto font and it took a little editing of output file names but otherwise worked well.. probably refine it some tomorrow but looks good to me for now so thought I would share..
EDITED 5/28: V2 - Will not change or effect any other vrtheme mods so flash 1% battery mod or Flashlight mod first to make this work as this is just the battery .png's)

Thanks for this. I wasn't certain and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the builds that Sleshepic is releasing contains certain mods so they are not true stock roms. If they were, it may not have been an issue.

21/6-11 added CRT effects
22/6-11 added overscroll along with CRT (for custom ROMs, as overscroll dont work with stock roms odexed)
22/6-11 fixed all three cwm with fixed icons in systemUI.apk. removed files only
22/6-11 added deodexed cwm
23/6-11 added mod for VILLAIN ROM 1.4 with CRT EFFECT AND NEW POWER MENU!

Looking nice Will try it out. Why not keep both a version with and without the CRT animation?
Edit: Really nice icons, clean and simple. But the scrolling bar in the SMS app turned green(?). It's translucent gray in all other apps.
Edit #2: Would be nice with a version containing only the status bar icons and the battery percentage icon (without the green scrolling bar). På forhånd takk, gode nabo
Thanks, I'm using it.
Could you also make a cwm file for the original files so whenever we need or have a problem, we can flash back.

Actually this was very helpful, thanks. Even though I had installed the Clear Glass theme and installed some of my own custom icons for the notification bar, for some reason it didn't occur to me to fix those ugly-ass wi-fi calling icons.
However, I still wanted some icon to appear when on wi-fi calling, so I rigged up my own icons (see attached). Not sure how stylish it is, but I think the phone and mini wi-fi icon combo gets the point across.

OR
Can you point me in the direction on how to do this and I'll make one for the community. Thanks.
Those of you wanting to know how to use your own icon;
Open the flashable zip file provided by the OP with a program such as 7-zip (do not unzip the archive if you don't know how to repackage a flashable apk).
Navigate to the folder where the png images are located (*.zip\app\IPService.apk\res\drawable\) and replace them with your own by dragging your png images into the folder, overwriting the existing ones.
Save the modified archive and you're ready to flash.

Thanks to theHOTNESS for the original mod on the AT&T Skyrocket; agat63 & ssconceptz for putting up with my PMs while I tested smali edits and sextape & sfhub for the awesome leaks!
After digging through the smali files from Samsung, they seem to have changed between 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 and there doesn't seem to be a quick edit to remove AM/PM. However, luckily for us the 4.0.3 modded smali works just fine on 4.0.4!
For devs:
Here's the Clock.smali you need:
http://d-h.st/iew
Drop it in com/android/systemui/statusbar/policy in the SystemUI.apk (or the classes.dex from System UI) and go!
For everyone else:
Here is a modified SystemUI.apk for stock, deodexed FF02 including this mod and nivron's 1X/3G mod:
http://d-h.st/LSv
Rename to SystemUI.apk and push to /system/app. I'll try to make a flashable ZIP later on, just not at my home PC to do it right now.
Thanks for this. I will include this in my next update with credit of course. You da man.
Awesomeness. I've been waiting for this for so long.
Thanks for this mod! Do you know if there is a way to remove the battery percentage? I tried using other battery icons but the percentage is not part of the icon it makes using other icons useless.

I'm not liking all the changes the programmers made to the ICS xml and smali files either. I'm glad this workaround works too.
Good to see you got it working.
So if I wanted to remove it without losing my themed status bar what where and what lines would I edit?
Because if I'm not mistaken, what you have in the op simply replaces what's already there so I would lose theming.

I just stumbled across this thread. The issue is that its not just simple status bar transparency. That's easy, and it's already in the settings menu in ROM Control for AOKP. With MIUI though, you can have the status bar as totally transparent when viewing the launcher/desktop, but it's not transparent, or it's semi-transparent when you are viewing apps like the browser or when viewing the lock screen. So the question is, how could one implement different status bar settings for different views as it is implemented in MIUI?

we are actually talking about the statusbar and making it transparent. in reloaded there is an app for the battery bar and is simple to adjust. but in the rom it has a ICS-like statusbar (all black with the ics-blue signal bars and battery icon and what not). What atljatl is wanting is the entire statusbar to be transparent. Like in the miui and some sense roms that have had the flashable zips to make transparent statusbar.
Gotcha. That is a simple mod in the systemui.apk. just changed either the icon or xml backgroubd to transparent. Again I'm mobile so can't do it fir u right now but will when I get home if ud like

Inverted TouchWiz Apks For T-Mobile Stock Deodexed MI7
I thought I'd make these fully inverted stock themed apks (somewhat stock themed anyway)
for those that would prefer not to use a theme, but would like to use their dark counterparts.
Warning!
These are just stock deodexed MI7 apks with no additional mods included.
If your current apks are modded in anyway, those mods will need to be re-added to these apks.
How to
Download zip to your phone
Reboot into custom recovery
Make a backup or at least back up the apks that will be replaced.
Flash zip
Reboot
SecContacts and SecPhone apks
http://sourceforge.net/projects/note3900t/files/Mods/Inverted_Stock_ContactsPhone_MI7.zip/download
SecMms apk
http://sourceforge.net/projects/note3900t/files/Mods/Inverted_Stock_Mms_MI7.zip/download
SamsungIME apk (Samsung keyboard)

FlashBarService apk (Multi Window)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/note3900t/files/Mods/Inverted_Stock_FlashBarService_MI7.zip/download
I won't have a problem sharing these, but if you would like to include them in your rom or use them as a base for a theme, please ask first.
There were hundreds of xmls edited to achieve this and not to mention digging for the smali files that also needed to be changed. I just ask for some courtesy.
Thanks and enjoy!

Are you running a odexed rom? These were meant for deodexed stock. You're going to have delete the odex file for the mms in the system/app folder of your phone.
If you also flashed the contacts and phone zip, then you're going to have to delete the odex files for the SecContacts and SecPhone too.
Can I flash these with Jedi or stock only?

I'm pretty sure it will work fine Jedi is a stock.. Even if it doesn't just have a backup and just restore system.
Better question is will it work on tweaked? loco..

Should work fine, but not sure if Jedi has any mods done to those apks, so I would suggest making a backup just in case.

Ummm... I've already sent some files to Dwith for Tweaked V2
You know that beast needs to have its own apks modded unless you wanna break something
Updated the SecMms.zip.
I forgot to invert the text color in the font size settings screen for the widget. My bad
Inverted MMS & Contacts look awesome! (I'm not using the TW Dialer because it doesn't display properly with the Nav Bar mod) Thanks ?

Updated the contacts and phone apks.
Made the contacts dialer and phone in call dialer look more like the international ones. New screen shots were updated in the OP.

A trick to get the navbar mod to look better with some of the apks is to make the size of it smaller in the dimes.xml of the framework-res.apk.

You're a Star!! Thank You ?
It's not that the Nav Bar is too big - But the dialer keypad & the most recent call in the logs gets cut off..
If you like - I can post a pic of the dialer that I'm currently using? It fits, as does the last call logs - It's just the color that I'd like to be black and white.... Let me know. ?

While this is not the inverted/international-ed version, just for reference this is what @foreverloco was referring to as the workaround of sorts regarding the dialer. Yes things are still cut off, but the bottom dialer buttons are there enough to be usable anyway. Darn TW non-adjusting dialer/camera...
I tucked the screenshot in some hide tags below -

Did you edit the build.prop to add the additional soft keys to the Nav Bar (I'm guessing Yes) - Would you mind sharing what the edit was (I'm interested in adding the Menu to the Right side of the Nav Bar.
I'm using a 3rd party Dialer - And both the Dialer & Logs are properly displayed - Yeah - Samsung.....

Yeah I don't know why they didn't allow for the resizing... it's rather annoying (nice dialer btw).
The screenshot there is the result of a bit of work actually - I set it up so that you don't need to change the build.prop to get the navkeys to show at all (can turn them on/off via checkbox/powermenu), and then smali-hacked things to force all 4 buttons to show (and to eliminate the overflow menu button bit that showed in places like SecSettings and SecContacts). I also didn't really follow the navbar guide that's posted exactly - I just added in the missing images (pulled from a CM11 build) and edited the SystemUI /res/drawable xmls to point to those images... the layout xml I didn't change at all.
Sorry for the off-topic stuff
