[ROM][4.3] Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition [Deodexed][ZipAlign]

Hi guys,
This is my ROM for the Google Edition ROM for the Galaxy S4 (should work on most variants as long as they have the same hardware as i9505) that I have built from the Android 4.3 zip which was uploaded. I have deodexed, zipaligned, added SU (the app is there but root isn't currently working) and also added the boot animation so it's working quite well.

Instructions:
1) Root device (suggest using Chainfire's CF-Root)
2) Install a custom recovery (suggest using Philz recovery)
3) Wipe Data/Factory Reset
4) Wipe Dalvik Cache
5) Install Google Edition ROM
6) Reboot

I prefer sticking with the original GE Kernel and just using a static ip.

Cool thanks for reply I'm still downloading as I'm using my phones data 321MB through can't wait oh faux kernel is meant to fix wifi

I have tried and tested the IR Blaster (using Smart Remote for Galaxy S4) and I can confirm that it DOES work, I have updated it in the 2nd post as well.

Found WiFi fix! Put that file content to system\etc\dhcpcd.

@HazAnwar: In the second post, what are you referring to with the hover touchscreen? Are you referring to the Samsung feature Air gesture? That is a TW feature and will not be in this GE version or in AOSP. Only in TW.
Also:
Can I incorporate the wifi fix directly into the rom before flashing? The fix linked in post #3, that is.

[MOD] LG G Flex Split View

Here it is what you all been waiting for. Drum roll.........
Split View​
Ported from the LG G-Flex by me.
Disable any Xposed module before flashing. Flash in recovery and reboot. I have allowed all apps in Split View , though some may not work properly if at all.
To initiate Split View, hold back button for about a second. The rest is self explanatory.
Download the latest G2 Xposed beta that works with Split View. Thanks to BlackDino

Then go into help, click "SplitView mod is not working", enable it, set your longpress to launch SplitView.
BUGS:
You may find that posting pics or uploading through Tapatalk , Hangouts will be broken.( You can post to Hangouts by selecting image using a file manager)
Opening Tapatalk notification will cause a FC
To fix the posting of pic or to just turn off Split View use a file explorer and delete this line or change it from true to false "ro.lge.capp_splitwindow=true" and reboot.
Uninstalling apps that can be used in Split View may cause a FC of Split View Services
For now to deal with this FC you must hold your power button until your phone reboots.

Can you explain how activate splitview, please? You don't have ported also Lgsystemui.apk so I (but also other users) can't understand how activate it. Thanks for reply and also for your zip. I've all your file my in my version i don't know how activate without lgsystemui.apk. On international ver. Lgsystemui.apk from G flex work without FC on deodex rom

I restored from backup
Tryed wipe cache after flashing mod - bootloop again

I am stuck in boot loop as well. Verizon stock. How do I revert it other than restore from backup? Thanks.

i have no problem at first, yet after several reboot, i had the same problem with you..
the ROM is kinda unstable, CM wallpaper always stopped responding, and any other bugs that I can't remember..
notification toggle kinda doesn't have a "theme"..
the only thing I'm happy about this ROM is I have other reference for my bloatwares list..
at that download link, I got confuse because there are two 'similar' file with different link, I dunno, maybe there's another version such as S6810 and S6810P.. what I downloaded was S6810P while my HH is S6810..
anyway, thank you for building this ROM, although maybe I'm not going to use this one..

I have the port of Arter97 and install your mod , RAM is more than 700 MB, if I take it off down to 550 MB
it happens to someone else?

no, it has no connection, in fact, I always had more than 600MB of RAM used ... ever ..

Lollipop Was Released For I9505 with a log of bug. The System was slow, apps were slower.
Tried on Stock Rom. Can try on others too.
The Main Problem That Existed With The Device Was The Recents Lag.
The Recents, whenever opened and scrolled, it was very much frustating.
Today, after much hard work, here I present You The Fix.
The Problem Was With The SystemUi Of The Phone.
So I Looked upon hard on it, and finally fixed it.
The Steps Are As Follows:-
1. [Most Important] Backup Your SystemUI.apk.
2. Download Any of the root explorers, go to system<priv-app<systemui.
3. Replace the systemui.apk with the given one.
KABOOM!

you need to say if this works on Custom Stock based roms or not.
I'm on albe lollirom 3.0 actually.

I don't think we can use it on custom touchwiz rom

Yeah it doesnt work on other lollipop roms... just stock lollipop rom.. sucks

Expand friend ..is a mod

Have any one tried on tw custom roms ? I've red some negative comments about it. I want to use this mod on albe lollirom v3.1 which is based on Sammy's OB7 firmware.
Edit: this doesn't work with lollirom. System UI keeps crashing

i installed and is really fast but the only weird thing is the camera shortcut is from kitkat, can you put the lollipop one? i really like the lollipop camera shortcut animation
ps: the sound icons are bugged

I am not sure [personal I tested and no improvement but I am on a custom rom], this modification will work only with lolli stock , because custom Lolli rom are already fast and without lag.
