I am currently on MK2. I am trying to put NB4 on my S4 but for whatever reason, it is not sticking.
I followed this guide..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2678774
Only thing i was unable to do was get into download mode again, while being in download mode. So i just restarted my computer, then went into download mode by holding down the power button. (have a download mode option)
Flashed the modem via Odin multiple times, just not working.
I am on this ROM..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2724854
Any suggestions? Appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Got to try this when I get home.
For some reason when I try to put my phone in download mode by holding power+volume down+home button.. The little android guy pops up with the volume options, then the phone just turns off automatically.. For whatever reason, my phone does not let me go into download mode like that. So I have to use flashify or my power button option. Weird.

Not sure if you guys resolved the issue yet. But you need to extract the .far file and flash the modem.bin. uncheck auto-reboot and put phone in download mode. Flash it once and pull the battery. Go into download again and reflash. Reboot and check baseband. You should now be on nb4.

Hi all, I was trying to uninstall some of the softwares from my S3, I uninstalled some of them, those are some tmobile softwares. But I soon found out when I restarted my phone it just stuck at the "samsung" logo.I tried to install a rom to resolve the problem but odin just kept showing that "FAIL". I reinstall a clockworkmod.tar by using odin( I don't know why I did that...><). But when it finished and restarted again it could no long turn on again. Can anyone help me with this problem? I just bought the phone yesterday and I already went to exchange for a new one couple hours ago, no sure tmobile would let me exchange it again. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Try pulling the battery and put it back in. Then try to boot download mode.
What rom did you try to flash? Where did you get the cwm.tar file you used?
Plug into the computer and check in device manager. Does it see anything?
If it says QHSUSB_DLOAD then I'm afraid your bricked.

I did a duma$$ move. I flashed a rom on top of a different rom without wiping.
- Phone boots up
- Boot animation displays
- Freezes on 'Android' Screen
- Does not go into Recovery
- Does not go into Download mode
- PC doesn't see it, but pc makes a sound when I plug it in, and drivers attempt to install when I plug in to pc (fail)
- Kies takes a while but I got "This device is not supported by Kies 2.0. Please try again'
Any and all help is appreciated.

to get into the stock recovery you hold volume up and home and the power button at the same time, use the volume keys to move up and down and power button to select than wipe data and cache and reboot

We technically can't post the files and what not on here because it is copyrighted so if you go to the general section the first pinned topic is about the IRC. Just go on there and they'll show you how to get everything.

It might be the ATT firmware on your phone, but I doubt it. (Why are you putting ATT firmware on a sprint phone?)
To enter download mode, all you do is press on that bump in the middle the volume rocker. It is there so that you can press both volume buttons with one finger, which normally opens up QuickMemo. With the phone turned off, press and hold both volume buttons and press the power button until the LG logo appears. Release the power button, but continue to hold the volume buttons till the phone is in Download Mode. Then just plug the phone into your PC and Windows should recognize it as some unknown device (I think).

I got this from KRZ-2pa's stock rom thread:
"Step 6.If you get a boot loop reboot the phone into recovery (Volume up+down and power until Samsung logo appears after let them go. Highlight Wipe data/Factory reset and select with power)"
It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to boot, so I would try the factory reset.
If you guys didn't know, I think you have to have the UVLI4 radio installed on your phone for Odin to install this stock ROM.
