You are using incompatible XPOSED Version. The version you are using works only with Android ICS and higher. (Works with CM9 SGY)

instead of manual flash, automatic flash zip mode on installation option works fine too

there are two ways
1.Deodex the stock yourself with this this,link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587482
2.download and flash a deoxed stock rom with this,link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529995
remember one thing for option 2 you have to have cwm or it wont work.

Pretty cool but there are some traces from the red ics theme(the loading bars and color when u finish scrolling) although I made a clean install.Also the widgets are not themed.Anyways thanks for ur work.

AOSP BROWSER IS HERE
installation instructions
1-download the zip file and flash through recovery
2- go to settings/applications/all/browser and wipe data or you will allways get forceclose

Ofcourse AOSP browser allways supports flash
Make a backup before flash and only flash it if you like the aosp browser style

that is not needed just sync now through google account as when you clear browser's data the bokmarks ,history etc are wiped

Yes you can but be aware it will remove stock htc browser

I followed your steps and im still getting force close when I opened the browser im running insertcoin 3.09-9 on android 4.2.2

tried that one yesterday and same thing force close
I do like the AOSP browser more than any other browser! The problem I found with installing it on our device is that you have to sign back in to Google every time you exit and go back to use it next time! Has any one else suffered this and is there a way round it?

You can try push Vol up + Home + Power reboot into recovery, select backup and restore -- delete backup file.
Your phone's internal storage may not be enough free space.

Fix permission on stock odex rooted was not fuctioning....it will hang and need to force restart to reboot system.....anybody else had this issue?...tq

Strange that I have win 7 and xp dual boot I have installed drivers on both the OS but it only works on xp and not on seven........................................... I wonder why?????? You can install google play without root. And don't worry, follow the steps precisely and there will be no bootloop.

Yes you can use a xposed module called android l theme and there are themes on play store too.

I didn't create it i just downloaded it off play store. If you want lollipop theme in aosp 4.1.2 install xposed and use android l module.
actually, i searched into xposed downloads for "android l " and "android l module" and nothing is found

Have you heard about HKthememanger? You can use this theme "Materiyo" It is the best theme I know for AOSP 4.1.2!
