Hi! I have an LS980 and I want to use it with AT&T... Ive read during my research some people complaining about their sprint lg g2 being 'stuck' on D80x that they flashed wronglly trough LG Flashtool -- and I was wondering.. if I flash the tot file for D800 or D802 will I be turning my phone into ATT Variant? Or is this too easy to be true?

I GSM unlocked my Sprint LG G3 to use on T-Mobile. Everything worked great until I tried to load a stock T-mobile firmware. Phone hard bricked. I ran through a guide to unbrick the phone. The last step is to load the tot file using LG Flash tool. Every time I try to do this I get a CrossDL D581 to LS990. From reading the only solution I've found is to change the hex in the first line of the tot file to make Flash tool think it is loading the D581 tot file. Does anyone know what this change would be or another method to get this phone up and running again? Or...since phone is unlocked and was working on T-Mobile with H+ speeds a way to load a T-mobile firmware? Thanks

I purchased a used Verizon LG G3 from someone online. It has Verizon all over the device; however, whenever I turned it on, US Cellular popped up on the screen. The guy told me all I had to do was call Verizon and they would activate the phone.
I contacted Verizon, and they said there was nothing they could do. I talked to a friend of mine and he said that it looked like they flashed the phone with a US Cellular firmware as the device is a VS985 but it is showing up as US990 on the firmware. I have tried flashing it back to a stock firmware of Verizon using the FlashLG Tool and stock *.tot file to which it fails and just says device model is different.
My question is, is there anything I can do to fix this or is this phone basically a paper weight?
I'm kind of new to this, so any help would be appreciated.

Flash KDZ to Sprint Variant
Long story short is I had a lot of problems with rooted sprint and ended up having to flash the verizon KDZ on it. This fixed all my problems but obviously I can't use it with sprint service now. Anyway I don't care about that but I am curious since I will still use my G4 as a media device until some method to restore sprint software comes around (if ever).
Can I flash any of the other KDZ files on my phone too? Or only US variant kdz will work?
Sprint LG G3 wont update Firmware. model is LS990. I had BlissPop Rom that allows me to use my Cricket Sim. i was getting +H, no 4g. I tried to go into recovery, it ended up in fastboot. then I tried to update firmware with LG FlashTool 1.8.1.1023 and it said failed. it then said I have a different model: d851. this model is for t-mobile. did the Rom change my model? What do I do from here? thanks for your help.
